Good Value for money, Pleasant.

Location good, one of two rooms we booked had limited water views. Easy access to Hobart. Rooms were larger than normal. Supplied breakfast exceeded expectations.

Car Parking is across the road, and at the back of the car park, rooms while partially renovated, still feel a bit dated in places.

Enjoyable, I would recommend this property.

The location, room & breakfast was fantastic. Everything we required was within easy walking distance restaurants, Salamanca markets and all forms of transport. Location was fantastic. Breakfasts were fantastic with a breakfast included I was expecting a continental breakfast but with choices from the menu on a daily basis it was really enjoyable. Most staff that I had dealings with seemed happy to be there and appeared to enjoy their jobs.

Room design was a little strange an extra bathroom downstairs would have made the trip complete. The room was large and catered for 4 people with only 1 x 2 seater couch and only 2 chairs supplied at the dining table, was not really ideal for 4 people. There was a lot of wasted space within the room, I would suggest a larger dining table and an extra couple of arm chairs to make the most of the view and to enable all that are accommodated to be able to watch the TV.

Excellent.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff friendly. Room lovely and spacious. - maybe a little sparsely furnished but it had everything we needed.

Maybe a comfortable seat to read in (in bedroom).

Perfect stay

Great stay! Location is perfect, rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast included was great as well. Special mention to Dev on reception for looking after us so well. Thanks all!

Loved our stay in this wonderful historic building with all mod cons

Location was perfect- right on the harbour front and short walk to Salamanca markets and lots of restaurants. Room and ensuite had everything we needed, plus a gorgeous water view. Had delicious breakfast in downstairs restaurant which shows off gorgeous old sandstone walls.

parking was a long way from hotel. Okay if you are young but I am elderly. But still worth it to be staying where all the action is.

Exactly what I was looking for.

Great location by the waterfront with many restaurants and cafe near by. Our room had a view of the water and a great balcony. The breakfast was very good including the coffee. The room was large and very comfortable. It was also quiet, even thought there is a pub and restaurant below the rooms.

There was no in room safe.

breakfast was one of the highlights the staff was so friendly and the food was delicious. the view from the room overlooking the wharf was a treat

Best Stay in Hobart

Our room (1) was above the bar. It was comfortable and had a lovely view of the waterfront. Windows are double glazed so there was minimal noise from outside. The ensuite was good but needed a little TLC. We would book this room again. Restaurant and bar were fabulous.

Terrific all round.

Location was excellent with a wide choice of food outlets within very easy walking distance. Hotel had a lovely bar and very good restaurant. Breakfast was included.

Historic hotel in the centre.

Location by the harbour, veey good double room facing government house, very helpful staff especially Nick and Steph who were sympathetic and supportive about the delivery of our lost luggage.

Room 9, which we first given, as it only has a view of air conditioning compressors

Grat location overlooking Hobart waterfront. Lovely clean comfortable room, Netflix was a bonus. Great pub downstairs and the breakfast included was very good. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Last night in Hobart - nice way to end our Tassie trip!

Good location, clean, nice bed and large shower. Breakfast included was delicious.

Couldn’t open window, no aircon (but there is a portable fan), no soap in bathroom.
