Beautiful hotel outside the Fort

Beautiful hotel with nicely decorated rooms outside the fort walls. The staff is very very helpful and provided a free pickup service from and to the railway station. They will answer any question you may have and provide local recommendations. Our highlight was the roof top restaurant with very good indian food and breakfast. Also you have an amazing view of the fort and can watch the sunset. The walking distance to the fort is roughly 20 minutes.

There was some construction going on, but we were there outside the main season, so this would be expected and they also offered us to change to a quieter room. They have a good, but quite expensive laundry service (30 Rupees per piece), which took 2 days instead of the told 1 day.

Even if you arrive at Jaisalmer late at night, if you contact us via Booking.com, they will come to pick you up. Thank you very much. The facilities are not bad, and there is a restaurant on the roof, so you can spend comfortably. Also, you can have it open as a resting place after camel safari.

Super helpful staff.

Very friendly and helpful staff. After we checked out, we were offered a room to relax and shower before taking the evening train. They also drove us to the station for our convenience. The room was clean, spacious and had a very good bed.

Unfortunately the swimming pool was under renovation but this was noted on the booking website.

Outstanding hospitality by the owners and the staff, rooms are reasonably clean and spacious. Very comfortable beds. Pool and rooftop are added bonuses. Very pretty building in general.

Had to switch rooms because the AC was not working. But upgraded us for free, so issue resolved. A bit pricey (rooms and tours), but good value for the money so it's ok

Superb

After a night in the desert we arrived before check in time, but were checked in already and even got an upgrade 🤗 Hotel, rooms and Pool are clean, staff is always there to help. Free Pick up from train or bus is offered. Food in the rooftop restaurant is delucious for a reasonable price. After check out, we were still allowed to use the pool and shower. Had a really good time in Tokyo Palace.

The staff were fantastic and I would especially like to mention Shakeel who could not do enough for the people staying in the hotel. Whether it was taking me on a tour or helping me with a laundry problem or finding an ATM machine for me, he would always do extremely well. OK. However the other staff were also excellent & especially the manager of the hotel, Mr Nanga Khan. He was also extremely helpful & full of good suggestions.

My only observation is that it would useful to a mini-bar or small fridge in each room. Apart from that I really do not have any criticisms.

felt really welcomed! Nice place with beautiful rooms and a rooftop restaurant where you can get food and have time to relax. Booked here our halfday desert tour and it was also perfect and non touristic. The owner and all staff were so nice every time, offered drinks, were helpful, quick and easygoing. Would come back and definitely recommend.

Enjoyed my stay here and met great people who care for their customers a lot.

The hospitality of the staff was great, rooms were comfortable. The place is near to all the tourist locations. Can easily get mode of transport to reach any place as well.

Lovely decor

The ambience, the decor and the lighting were very ethnic and representative of Rajput culture. The aloo paranthas at breakfast were reminiscent of mum's cooking.

Decent Budget Hotel for One Night's Stay

Good budget hotel with clean facilities for one night stay. The restaurant on the rooftop is nice with good food. The staff were helpful to arrange laundry & taxis as needed.

I was staying on the ground floor and there was a lot of noise coming from reception at night, past 11pm. Not just talking but loud shouting, etc & I was quite sick at the time so would have appreciated if the staff would have tried to minimise the noise - but I guess it is India, everyone is loud, including the guests. The location is a bit hidden away from the main road towards the fort & would have been hard to find if I hadn't come via taxi. A bit frustrating that they push for cash payment unless you really insist on paying with card.
