Best vacation! :)

Superb

Proximity to beach and beach cafés. Also to town facilities and shops. We took a quad bike experience which was really unusual over several different terrains. And of course the self catering accommodation

Fantastic stay,

Great stay at Cala da Lua thanks to Monica and Alberto and all their staff. We enjoyed their tips for places to discover and good local restaurants. Nice appart, well equiped, quiet and recent.

Such a friendly and welcoming place.

Spacious airy rooms, all with ceiling fans and fly screens. Nice balcony. Easy access to the beach and town. Fantastic owners and staff. exceptional cleaning.

The cups were very small for British tea drinkers.

Beautiful place to relax in, I will definitely be coming back

the apartments are very clean with everything you need. Host and staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough. The courtyard is such a nice area for breakfast which had a wide range of food and drinks.

Excellent, even better than it looks on the photos!

We stayed in the Queen Suite with Sea View, it was great and even better than it looks on the photos. It has its own private terrace with sun beds and a table. It was well equipped for those wanting to do some self catering. Alberto and Monica were brilliant, super helpful, fun and looked after us fantastically well. The location is great less than ten minutes walk from both the beach, beach bars, restaurants and the town.

There was no listing that there was a hairdryer so we brought our own but there was one in the room!

Exceptional

What a wonderful place to stay! From the minute we arrived there was a complimentary shuttle service from the airport to the apartments. The check in process was smooth and stress free, with warm and welcoming staff ready to help from as soon as we arrived. Alberto was exceptionally kind and helpful in all things and his skills with a coffee machine were something else. The apartment itself was beautifully presented, exceptionally clean and cane with all the amenities. There was a well stocked kitchen perfect for making a quick lunch and taking it to the beach. The bedroom was large and comfortable with a nice spacious lounge area but the roof terrace was the cherry on top. Lovely view of the sea, private sun bathing area and and lovely place to have a morning coffee. Just the perfect set up for either a couple or a bigger group - a few apartments between you would be ideal. The location was perfect for hitting the beach and local beach clubs and restaurants with a bank just round the corner. Highly recommend any excursions booked through Alberto - they were all such good value for money and very well run. They also went above and beyond getting forgotten property to me at the airport in our day of departure. So sad to be leaving but will 100% be back as soon as flights are running again. The most wonderful week - couldn’t recommend Cala da Lua appartements and it’s staff more highly!

Would love to come back

The host was very helpful and friendly. The apartment was spacious and clean with everything you need. We had even two bathrooms. Thanks for the wonderful and relaxing stay.

Definitely recommendable

Clean, spacious, functional apartment, adjacent to a beautiful inner courtyard. The staff was very friendly and forthcoming. Good breakfast with various pastries, cheese, canadian bacon, cooked eggs etc. WiFi internet was working decently considering we're on Boa Vista. A beach with a couple of very nice beach clubs (Tortuga!) is in walking distance. Don't be afraid of stray dogs on the way home from the beach though! The location on the south side of the lovely town of Sal Rei provides a perfect home base to spend 2 weeks on Boa Vista and do occasional excursions with a rental car.

The blue, red and grey color scheme and overall design of the apartment interior is too 90's for my liking and didn't strike me as pleasant. The LED lights are too bright and cold so it's not really cozy for spending an evening in the apartment.
