Very generic and old

"Garden Room" to have our included breakfast was drab, with no pictures, no color on walls. It was just one big room and for the start of our day, was very dissapointing. Breakfast offerings on the middle table was more toward older crowd. The cut up fruit was in water and if it had grapes, they were each cut in half and had bowl of prunes. Croissants were not fresh and no scones either of our 4 days, although it was listed on the menu. Need more fresh variety and better presentstion of fruit/cheeses/meat. Perhaps place trays of food nicely around table instead of the older cafeteria style metal serving table. View from room was of top inner roof and 2 other rooms. Window latch to keep window open at night had safety concerns since anyone from the outside could lift the latch without problems Glass shower insert/door let water on floor. Need better design.

A great Irish welcome!

The best part of the Torc Hotel is its staff. From the reception counter to the bar to the breakfast room, we received exceptional, friendly service from everyone we met. The rooms were very large and clean.

The only drawback is its location. It is not walking distance to Killarney, but we were able to get a taxi to and from town for about 10 euro each way.

Short and sweet stay. Didn't have much time in hotel but nice feel to the place.

Breakfast was OK, could have been better (sausages slightly undercooked). Also had a snack in the bar which was lovely.

Room was nice but pillows were quite hard.

Very good

The personnel was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice and clean. The bed was especially comfortable.

We did get some issues with warm water in the room. They were quickly resolved by helpful staff. Breakfast is good but quite limited in choices.

it was nicely decorated for Christmas

The corridors were cold , the room was very basic, the cups were take away cups for tea in the room in a sandwich bag, there was no hot water , the breakfast room was very cold.

Ring of Kerry had road block - hotel was fine

As I said slept well and food good but the cost of it ,in my view was way over what is appropriate

I slept well in a large room on a room only basis ,which was NOT what I ordered. I ordered a single room on a bed and breakfast basis. Breakfast was very good.

The attitude of staff when I arrived and told them that a mistake had been made my booking agents. I asked them to contact Bookings.com and sort out the mistake. I ordered b/b for 4 nights for one person occupancy at a reasonable rate. I ended up having to pay for a large room with two double beds on a room only basis and had to pay For breakfast separately. Effectively I was charged over €150 per night. The manager insisted that they were in business to make money and that if a booking is made ,they have Desire to sort out my and booking agents problems.

Not good value, overpriced for what it is.

Breakfast good.

Restaurant wasn’t good, very few guests, no atmosphere. We had requested sheets and blanket, specifically asked for this, didn’t want duvet, we got duvet. It was changed for the second night when we complained.

Wouldn’t stay again or recommend

The room was clean, comfortable and decent size. Staff were friendly.

The hotel is on the outskirts of town with nothing around it. We did laps of the car park for a stroll after dinner as there are no outside facilities. The building is dated and has doors so heavy that you can hear every door banging when in your room. Also the walls are so thin I could hear the conversation of the people next to us word for word. The breakfast is dearer than any other hotel we stayed in even though there were few options.

Enjoyed our 4 day stop immensely due to the Park facilities

Location was ok as we had our own car Breakfast was good However the hotel did not catrr for the hot weather we had during our stay - NO air-con. We had to purchase a fan ourselves

staff were friendly and courteous. very helpful and responsive. no problem was an issue. very customer focused.

location a little bit out of Killarney but not a great problem.
