Very disappointing. It looked so much nicer on the website

The hotel is under construction and there was no indication of that on the website. The cost was similar to other nicer hotels close by. It was a mess! Everything looked dirty. The cable did not work in our room and the room reeked of cigarette smoke. We would never stay at a Double tree again.

good location excelent services

Good location, pool was clean, staff friendly... only the restaurant down stairs the staff was extremely rude. But is not part of the hotel.

Must enjoyable and Cathy at the bar was awesome.

It was fine

It needs an upgrade I really don’t understand all the bad reviews at this hotel, we almost canceled account of them but didn’t and was very glad we didn’t. Yes it’s a little old but it was clean had no bad smell like the other reviews said. Would definitely go back. The only negative was the breakfast in the restaurant it was awful, eggs over done, potatoes cold, would go elsewhere for breakfast.

Disappointing on a lot of levels definitely not good value for money

The receptionist in the morning were very helpful

Checking in at 2pm the night porter was brusque took 2 phone calls while we were waiting we were there first! We could not have breakfast in the restaurant as we were ignored for 15 minutes!!! So we left

perfect for what I needed

the pool was lovely. tropical feeling. the rooms and very nice.

it’s a little battered but I think that’s from the hurricane. the carpet and walls in the halls need a desperate overhaul.

Don't let the exterior deter you from a good location and clean rooms.

Location, spacious and clean room.

The physical busking and interior walls are outdated. There was foreign hair in one of the towels.

Decent hotel but showing its age

My wife and I stayed at the Crown Plaza hotel in Fort Myers for one night during a Florida vacation. The hotel is in a good location with free parking and several local restaurants. Our room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed.

Overall, the hotel is beginning to show its age and could do with being refurbished. Like a lot of American hotels, the breakfast was disappointing compared to those we find at similar standard hotel in Europe.
