Very good

The hotel was stylish, classy, and perfectly located.

The room felt moist, for lack of a better word. Not humid, because it wasn't hot or warm. But like you were never completely dry.

It is nice to stay there once for the experience. I would definitely go there for dinner again.

The hotel is a business optimized for profit, I did not feel that customer satisfaction was a priority.

The Pink Lady is the BEST!!!

View was superb. We were upgraded to a suite with a view which was beautiful. One night there was a very loud TV above but the staff could not get the clients to turn it off. I was given a discount for the disturbance which was very much appreciated. Staff was the best!

La Valencia is a place to relax and celebrate! You can enjoy the best of La Jolla!

We love the property and the location to the water. From the minute we arrived, until the minute we pulled out of valet parking, we were well cared for.

Beautiful location and gracious staff

Staff was friendly helpful gracious. Food was excellent. View and location exceptional.

this hotel is in desperate need of renovation with the exception of certain amenities in the actual rooms. Coffee maker was not even working outdated unclean. I saw rust in multiple locations on ironworks and I saw a very dangerous railing that was below code near the fire ladder near the elevator on the third floor which must be looked at. From the restaurant looking at the beautiful view I could see the patios adjacent. Underneath those patios from the bedrooms appear to be significant water damage could result in failure. Overall the hotel is in desperate need of a remodel and if not a remodel someone needs to go over it top to bottom and fix all the issues.

Can't beat the location and view from the pool area

The pool needed to be cleaned much more regularly, with lots of debris in the water. Water also had a cloudy look to it

When we booked the hotel in booking.com plataform it did not inform us, (specially before concluding the reservation), the rooms are not done by the housekeeper unless you personally contact her. A hotel of this category and price should have the rooms done and fully clean every day because that is what you expect for what you are paying for when you decide to stay at a hotel instead of an airbnb, VRBO, etc ! You book a hotel because you want everything to be taken care of, never in my life had I stayed at a hotel and had to make my own bed and clean the bathroom. Arriving at a hotel 10:30 PM exhausted after a long day of Dr appointments to find a room not done is a very unpleasant surprise ! It is very important that we were NOT told about this issue at the time of check-in either ! Fortunately the manager Mr. Kingsley Q Kyei understood the situation and behaved accordingly !
