Amazing hotel with fabulous rooms and great service. We couldn’t have been more comfortable here. We were given great recommendations and was organised a heritage walking tour. Breakfast was very good up on the rooftop with great choice and amazing coffee! The room was incredible, beautifully decorated and very clean. We have booked to come back post camel safari as we loved it so much

Great hotel in Jaisalmer with a very good location and quality of service and facilities. The rooms are very nice with a big private toilet. All hotel is very very clean.
It has a rooftop with views to the fort and all the city. The rooftop has also an area with A/C.
The breakfast is awesome, need to highlight the pancakes with honey and lemon and the tomato and cheese sandwitch.
For dinner, we tried theor Thali and it was exceptional.
The service is very nice and kind. The owners are a couple that will make you feel like at home.
They also offer excursions with guide to the fort, safari by the desert and cooking classes. great location near city center
We have enjoyed a lot and will repeat this hotel for sure!

After our trip in the Thar dessert, we returned to The Secret House because it is a warm and welcoming place. Naru and his staff welcomed us back with open arms. If we had known upfront that The Secret House also organizes dessert trips, we would have booked with them for sure.

The Secret House is a cosy place to stay. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Breakfast at the Rooftop is superb and from that same Rooftop you can watch the sunset of Jaisalmer Fort, so no need to go to the look out for that. The staff is very helpfull and they make you feel part of The Secret House family. Location is perfect, because within a short walk you are at the heart of the city.

The team at the The Secret House were definitely the friendliest group we encountered across our Rajasthan trip, and they make the Secret House feel a bit special as a result. To be fair the building is not surrounded by the most attractive neighbours, like the bus park, but there's generally something interesting going on outside and of course the view of the walled town is stunning 24 hours a day. Naru Owner was a fantastic host, and we very much enjoyed Aju company on the rooftop restaurant. We learnt a lot about life in Jaisalmer from talking to them, and the hotel is a beautiful oasis. Meals on the rooftop restaurant, and Aju good food advice all made the stay very enjoyable. Quality place to stay at a very reasonable price. Best Location near city center everything is walking distance and its very quiet in night no noisy. they Desert safari too
everything was perfect

Best Location boutique hotel with new construction content. The rooms, with lots of natural light and charming decoration, have large bed with really comfortable mattress. lots of facilities of food and activities
It has a rooftop restaurant with beautiful views of the city, fort and cremations.
The restaurant service is very good, especially home made Thali.
Very friendly staff and homely treatment by owner Naru, always ready to help you in every factor.
100% recommended.

Everything was perfect. The rooms are a calm, clean, relaxing sanctuary. The rooftop is a great place to eat with amazing fort views. Everyone here is so friendly and go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable and have everything you need in Jaislamer. One of our favourite places we have stayed in India
Nothing. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Jaislamer, look no further and book The Secret House.
10.0
location if you want to enjoy the entire view of the Jaisalmer Fort which looks stunning from the rooms. Also, the area around the hotel is quiet and I liked it as I needed some much needed peace with less crowd and less sound.
Ambience and decor: Simply outstanding. Very neatly and thoughtfully designed rooms and hall area. I had booked a single room on booking.com but I got a room upgrade and I totally loved it! I had booked it for only one night.
Cleanliness and rules: It is one of the very few hotels where cleanliness is maintained on the highest level and it is only possible because of certain easy-to-follow rules, for example, no outside food is allowed in the rooms, shoes are to be kept in the hall area and are not allowed inside the rooms, etc.
Hospitality: The owner Mr. Naru needs a special mention as he made sure my stay at the hotel was comfortable and enjoyable. This kind and humble person engages really well with his guests and talks to them like a family member. I had a really nice conversation with him the first evening and he also offered me the dinner with his family and friends. By the way, the Laal Maas was really delicious and cooked to perfection. The staffs (Kapil, Aju, Rohit) were also quite nice and proactive.
Final words:
Secret House totally exceeded my expectations and if I visit Jaisalmer again, this is where I am going to stay, without a doubt.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is very clean, the staff very professional and the ambient is super. The hotel has one smell at jazmin, and the decoration is absolutely the best. The breakfast in the roof with view is fantastic. I book with them one safari the next day and Papu and Lalu given very good service and the place where I sleep it was perfect too. Naru is the owner and he speaks english and spanish. Thanks for everything

Our stay at The Secret House in Jaisalmer was incredible. The best we have had in one month travelling India so far. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly faces. Even though we were arriving at 6am, we were kindly offered early check in at no extra charge. All staff were friendly and helpful.
We booked two rooms and both were spacious and very clean (we have arrived to some terribly dirty hotels in India for the same price, you won't have to worry about that here). The air-con was cold, the shower was hot! Toilet paper was provided. Very comfortable pillows and bedding. Can't ask for much more. The rooftop is cozy and has great views over the town and to the fort.
Naru, the owner of Secret House, gave us many tips about what to do in the town and where to eat. He even told us he had a few hours free one morning and he would take us on a walking tour of the Fort and Havelis at no charge if we would be interested. He spent 3 hours walking with us, trying street food, and explaining many things about the town. As well as English, he speaks fluent Spanish also which was great for my Colombian wife.
We also booked a one night camel and desert Safari through Naru which was a wonderful experience.
Nothing to mention.

Wonderfully friendly and accommodating staff, always caring for their guests. The service and breakfast were very good and they even provided complimentary guided day tour around the city. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Jaisalmer and looking for a comfortable, clean and friendly place to stay. Special thanks to Kapir and Aju who made my stay wonderful.

This modern, comfortable hotel is an oasis of calm from the hustle and bustle and heat of Jaisalmer. The rooftop is a perfect place to have breakfast or an evening beer, with an unmatched view over the fort. The staff were very accommodating of my late check-in and check-out - in particular the hotel owner/manager who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Can highly recommend.

Cosy, and beautiful family run hotel, perfect to visit Jaisalmer. The premise is super clean and furnished with great taste. Owners are kind and helpful and take care of the place with a lots of love. Rooms are big and beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is served at the beautiful terrace on the top floor, where you can relax while looking at Jaisalmer fort. I recommend having dinner at the hotel since they serve home cooked delicious Indian food. We really enjoyed our staying at this hotel.
Everything was great!

Great stay at The Secret House. The rooms were lovely and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed there for Christmas eve and they put on a dinner for us on the rooftop which has a view of the fort and the city. It was a great experience staying here!

It's nicely renovated with European taste. The owner puts effort with incent and unique furnitures to feel like home. The staffs always clean somewhere to maintain the place. I also liked the fact that you have to remove your shoes at the entrance not to bring the dirt from the outside. The entire place is very clean.
The staffs always ask you if everything is ok in every occasion. The owner showed us the must see places on a paper map. We didn't go to the dessert but they can arrange a tour for yot too.
I do recommend to have dinner once in the hotel. We ordered Thali which was delicious. The spicy level was mild for foreigners. I really love this kind of details which they care about.
They kindly let us do late check out as our departure was at 2pm. They only have 7 rooms so it might depend on the timing.
It proved that no matter where you are from and no matter what your background is, the people with good sense can do good business. Kudos for the owner! I may not come back to Jaisalmer but the memory of this hotel will stay with me forever.
The street near the hotel is super quiet during the night apart from noises from anmials like cows and dogs... I couldn't sleep on the first night because of it but it's not the hotel's fault. I believe this hotel is very quite compared with other properties. I hope the Indian government will do something in the future to these animals on the street.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for us. Breakfast is nice and there was always a cold beer waiting in the fridge on the rooftop after our day. Irish not Mexican. Dunno why it says that

The place is lovely, a seven room small hotel. Our room was modern and tastefully decorated. Maru, the owner and manager as well as the stuff did their best to assist and make our stay satisfactory. Among others, we were given a free (good) guide to the fort, free mineral water, chai and coffee. The hotel is located in a quiet area which is a walking distance from the excellent restaurant named Lal Garh (try the stuffed tomato).
A good view of the fort could be seen from its roof top restaurant. You will need transportation to get there.
המקום מומלץ. בעל הבית מעולה.

Staff were really helpful and friendly. We came by car and there was no problem with parking. The hotel is only around 15 minutes walk to the fort and palace. The interiors are stylish, the breakfast great.

Wonderful Hotel in Jaisalmer. Just when we arrived we were warmly welcomed and received a free upgrade of the room. The rooms were beautiful, nice decoration, very clean, big room and bed. The rooftop terrace with the restaurant was amazing. The hotel staff was always around and attentive, they gave us a citymap and explained all the things one can do without beeing pushy. We enjoyed our stay very much, would definitely come back.

The place exceeded my expectations! Since there were no other people in the facility, they upgraded our room for free. The room was super clean, spacious, and felt like home, the whole hotel is clean and covered by a lovely smell. The staff was incredibily nice, they helped us for every need, they even suggested us non touristic restaurants with Great food and fair prices! They organized the taxi from the airport and many auto rides, they were super efficient for every need.
