3 Nights Excellent Stay at your Wonderful Hotel

We had excellent 3 nights stay at Evergreen Lauren Hotel. The house keeping was excellent. They provide complimentary drink in the Mini Bar, Daily they provide Apples and Sweets. The staff at the reception was very helpful during check in and check out. Finally the aircond in the room was very cold. There are lot of eateries close by

WE book the ocean view but we didn't have a good view of the ocean as many tall trees were blocking the view. Also there is lot of re claiming of the land which was very unpleasant to see

The definition of "superior service"

We loved the service standards. The staff were all friendly and hospitable.

The mattresses were slightly hard in the superior room. The breakfast range was disappointing.

Cleaneat hotel in town

Even the age of this hotel about 25 years but still well maintained. Clealiness is beyond outstanding. Love the stay. Complimentary items at room's mini bar, kids play room, sauna, jacuzzi etc. Love the food here. Ordered room service for lunch and the food was really good. Walking distance to gurney shopping area and hawkers stall.

It is situated not very far from town. Gurney drive provide you with a place to walk along the coast. There is a reasonable food court nearby

coming into the hotel parking is not same as exit ie have to go around to come and park

Breakfast buffet lots of variety served nice food & tasty. room very spaces & clean provided complete toiletries. comfort pillow & matress.

Not friendly staff we feel like not welcome & like strangers.

Superb

Friendly staff; I go back to the same hotel whenever in Penang. I know most of the staff and we always get treated very nicely.

Post- pandemic, likely by necessity, catering seems more in tune for the locals; hence the breakfast choices became a bit limited. Nevertheless, even with limited range, still good value for money.

Very good

- Wide selection of breakfast items to cater not just for International visitors and also local visitors. There was a station for Malay, Chinese and Indian breakfast cuisine. - There was a fresh egg station and noodle station. - Good views to the sea from the higher floors facing the sea. - Outdoor swimming pool included a child friendly pool.

- The check-in process was slow. - The drinks at breakfast seemed far too diluted and flavourless. - There was some maintenance issues that the staff should have addressed rather than guests having to report them. The issues were rectified on the same day.

The hotel did not received the booking from Booking.com eventhough we have paid . They have to do a very long check before confirm our booking. I wish in future the coordination between Booking.com and Hotels are well connected as I have a few booking coming up in March for trip to Hanoi.

Not a bad stay for a week with my family, but could be better.

First, I must say the location was really good, very easy to access to mall, sightseeing or nearby restaurants. This hotel have plenty of parking lots as well. Housekeeper really did their job very well, appreciated it.

Breakfast really make me feel disappointed, very lack of selections and everyday almost same, perhaps just change from fried rice to noodle. Most of the facilities seem old as what I expected before. But I really dislike hotel guests also need pay for a rent of tennis rackets.
