Awesome place to stay!

The beds were very comfortable, there was a private deck overlooking the river, the shower was awesome! There is a 2 mile Riverwalk behind the hotel that is perfect for a run or stroll. And you can fall asleep to the sound of the water flowing. Walkable distance to the Hot Springs and friendly staff.

We loved everything! The continental breakfast was good for a quick bite- donut holes, cereal, breads, and frozen burritos but for a day exploring I would head out for a more filling meal. We will definitely stay here again.

Request an upper room rather than lower

The room was clean and the beds are very comfortable the balcony has a beautiful view of the river. It’s close to town and the hot springs. The first night was peaceful and relaxing very quiet and we slept great.

The front desk is hardly ever “manned” meaning we went for coffee and it was closed we called down to the office at 2am to complain of a noise situation and it was never resolved because no one was there. They were almost empty but still decided it was a good idea to rent out the room above us to someone who had a “service” animal. The dog was barking, chasing a ball, and running all night from 2am until 4am then again at 7am I called down to the office several times and no one ever answered. When I called in the morning to let them know she just said she would take care of it. But nothing to us to compensate for a lousy night of no sleep! I was upset since it was supposed to be a relaxing trip for rest but we didn’t get any rest on our second night there.

Everyone was helpful and friendly. Located right at the front of town. Room was full of character. Beds and pillows super comfy.

Will be back!

Really charming and great location. It’s a shor walk on the river walk each day to get into town. Loved sitting on the porch every night to watch the river flow. Also very much appreciated the large rooms.

Good location and room. The car is needed to visit Ouray and to go to the restaurants.

Good location. The two king beds were very comfortable. Nice view on the balcony and throw the windows. Silent place only the sound of the River. We like it.

The shower doesn’t work good.

Great way to kick off a backpacking trip into the Mt Sneffels wilderness

Great location, overlooking the Umcompagre River and 5 mins walk to Ouray Hot Springs. 10 mins walk to downtown. We left the window open overnight to enjoy the sound of the river rushing by.

Nothing that I can think of related to the hotel. It was kinda expensive, but that's typical for Ouray in the height of summer.

Good stay

Love the balcony overlooking the river, really enjoyed sitting out there, really large room with two comfy beds. Appreciated the AC.

Wish the balcony railing was either lower or spaced farther apart so we can actually see the river while sitting out there, also wish the water pressure was stronger, it was quite weak.

Everything!!!! Friendly and dedicated front desk employees, hardworking housekeepers (cleanliness is extremely important for us), decent breakfast, located within walking distance to the hot springs. We loved the wooden swings and all the extras.

I appreciated the cleanliness of the spacious room, the comfy king size beds, and the river in back!

Loved the super comfy king size beds, the cleanliness of the room, the super nice staff, and the river right outside the back door of the room! We walked along the river (as far as we could) to the restaurant in the downtown area. We were leaving early, and did not have time for breakfast - but it smelled delicious!

The toilet had a TON of water pressure, while the shower had very little. Had to google how to use the shower head (very odd shower head) and really just not much water pressure, no matter what setting it was put on.

Great place to stay while visiting the Hot Springs at Ouray!

all the rooms are along the river with a balcony and all the rooms have two king beds. There is a trail that runs along the river that goes right below the balcony with very easy access from the hotel.

my wife,14 yr old grandson and myself loved it. the only regrets was i couldnt stay longer.

didnt try the breakfast. everything the photos showed was excellant

there was nothing i didnt like.i hope every person was as satisfied as we were.

Listen to the river all night and enjoy the view.

This hotel is pleasant with the river running right behind it. The beds were the best of our vacation.

The shower head was not working well. The frozen burrito for breakfast was awful.

It was a very relaxing and beautiful time. We enjoyed it very much!

It was very comfortable and most of the office staff were helpful and friendly.

One of the staff members was very unfriendly almost borderline rude. Everyone else was wonderful!

Coziest stay in Ouray, right next to the river

We’ve stayed at this property a couple of times and we enjoy it every time. The rooms are cozy, the 2 king beds are comfortable and clean, the balcony by the river is very peaceful, and the fireplace is so relaxing. Wendy from the office was very friendly and even left us some juice and muffins since the lobby was going to be closed. We visit Ouray often and the Hot Springs Inn has become our favorite place to stay there

No complaints, our bathroom door was a little noisy and could use a door stopper or bumper or something :)
