A genuinely stunning location with great facilities and the most welcoming and friendly staff. Food, from breakfast to dinner was lovely and happy to accommodate dietary needs. Just a fantastic break (we'd have loved it to have been longer!) and will hopefully return.

Tha spa was amazing

Picturesque location with stunning views. Spa facilities were amazing and I went home feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Food and drinks first class. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Can’t wait to return.

The addition of the spa facilities it just a massive asset to the hotel the decor and upkeep of this hotel is amazing

My one and only dislike was that there was only one wood burner in one of the three rest areas and that room was small so only 4 people could be in there the other two rest rooms were very cold so we ended up going up to our room when we would have like to sit by the fire with a drink

The position is excellent. The hotel is very well kept and very clean and tidy. The staff are really friendly. The spa is lovely. Nothing is too much trouble. There are 2 electric charging points for cars.,

The hotel is set in a stunning part of west Cornwall with amazing views of the coastline. The hotel is clean, lovely decor throughout and the food was delicious. The spa facilities are excellent and the staff member made us feel very welcome.

The view was truly spectacular, perhaps one of the best in the whole of England. And the room was sumptuous to match. We had a bottle of prosecco waiting followed by a fantastic meal. The staff were attentive and friendly. We had a great walk on the surrounding coastal path the following day. This was a short but very special trip.

All of the spa appointments had been taken which is fair enough as we booked late, but we didn't realise there were other facilities that we still could have used, so missed a trick there. We will have to return again!

The location is wonderful. The hotel seemed a bit tired.

I was disappointed this year as I booked an expensive sea view room and it was never cleaned properly because they are still operating Covid rules. The room was small for its cost. The bathroom was adequate but a good shower and bath. I’m did think it was a bit of a rip off because of its location. Very old fashioned furniture. The pool and spa are a great feature although due weather I didn’t use the pool. But no one tidied up the pool chairs and pool cushions and it looked very untidy. Staff were fine but I have no idea who the management were. They were not obviously about and certainly didn’t interact with customers considering it’s a small hotel. I had some laundry done and it was returned all scrunched up in a plastic bag. Maybe no ironing offered but 2 sweatshirts could have been returned on a hanger. For me it was not as good as last year and then I had the last room available which was awful but the hotel itself was good enough for me to return. My friend this year had quite a nice partial sea view room and paid half the amount I paid!

The spa was fabulous even without a treatment. The shampoo was amazing.

Although the food was of excellent quality and value. The portion sizes were far too much, which resulted in a lot of waste, which in my opinion was not very eco friendly.

Location was excellent and views to die for. Breakfast was extensive and very nice. Spa facilities were amazing.

Room could have been better cleaned, quite alot of dust on some of the unit surfaces. The fan dust in the bathroom was so clogged when turned on it all fell to the ground and the shower had no dial so was not possible to tell where hot and cold was

Staff, location, excellent massage, hottub.

Room was damp, noisy and smelled of cooking. Assigned seating. We were sat at the entrance to the restaurant near the kitchen for breakfast and dinner even though there lots of free tables. Nicer tables were obviously reserved for more expensive rooms.

Beds were the best everrrrrr! Staff were warm welcoming and accommodating (except grumpy bar man!!). Breakfast staff were so hospitable and spa well attended, aided by great weather!

Grumpy barman …. Feeling hotel was understaffed but 99% were super! Hadn’t realised it was soooo doggy friendly!
