About this house rental
Situated in Fire Island, this attractive house for $400 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Great Home Air in the living room and bedrooms Well maintained family home, neat and clean Eat in kitchen with oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker etc Living room with new flat screen TV and direct TV Third bedroom is a separate cottage with attached full bathroom 2 bikes plus cart The kitchen opens onto the backyard . Large and private backyard with patio sets, new gas BBQ, and large outdoor shower. Our backyard is perfect for relaxing and or entertaining. We provide pillows and sheet sets and light summer blankets for all beds. washer/dryer We rent: Monday to Friday or Friday to Monday or full weeks We have one security camera in the front of the house and one on the west side where tenants have no access. They will be on during your stay. We use our home ourselves and enjoy it tremendously!

AWESOME place to stay on fire island!
•The place was super clean, cozy, and comfortable.
•The location was perfect~ very close to the ferry and beach. A nice walk or bike ride into busier parts of town with shops.
•The owners were so nice and ensured we could reach out to them if we needed them. •The pictures do not do this house justice! The backyard and inside were a lot more spacious than seen in the photos.
• The backyard was a great place to hangout and relax. There was a lot of privacy in the back.
•There is some type of shop (lumber?) behind the house, they would start work early around 7am and would create a lot of noise. Not a huge deal but it did cause us to get up pretty early some days.
• There are two bathrooms with showers, which was nice! However, the water would rotate from being hot one moment to cold the next so you needed to take quick showers.
Overall, the house was great for my family and we all had a really great time! We would 100% stay here in the future. Thanks!

Stayed at this house for a long weekend with a bunch of my girl friends and we had the best time! The house was equipped with everything we could need and comfortably fit all of us. The backyard is perfect for hanging out and the house is very close to the beach. Lydia and Peter were awesome hosts! I’d definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Fire Island Vacation
Property was perfect. Plenty of beds, very clean, homeowners were very helpful and timely with communications. Our party of five was quite comfortable. Plenty of outdoor deck space to hang out. Outdoor shower and faucet were clutch for sandy returns from the beach. The beach is close by...maybe an eight minute walk. The only thing we would change is to perhaps add another frying pan. Apart from that....perfect. Thanks!

Perfect for group getaway
This property was perfect for our group of 7, fitting everyone very comfortably and with enough room in the common areas to all be together. We utilized the back patio deck the most, it’s perfect for bbq dinners or just some simple sunbathing. The house was very clean and tidy when we arrived and the owners were quick to respond to any questions whenever we asked

The place was great in all aspects, a short walk to the ferry right next to some great bars restaurants and shops and extremely friendly hosts! The house listed 2 bikes but actually had 4, there were supposed to be no towels but the owners left a few a long with some warm blankets. Would highly recommend staying here and will be again in the future.

Lovely time
We enjoyed 3 nights in the fall here. We love that season for its quietness on fire Island even though many businesses are closed for the season. The house is easy to get to from the ferry. It is so clean and everything is as we expected. Thank you!

Graduation family fun
To my daughter and her friends to the beach for the week ...6 - 18 years old girls . Could not have been any more perfect of a beach hose. The location was great, hosts were super helpful and very kind. Highly recommend this rental!!.

Cute Fire Island Getaway
The house was easily accessible and just as advertised. There were more than enough beds and AC in every room which was a huge plus. Peter was extremely responsive throughout the entire booking process and stay. The kitchen was upgraded with a dishwasher and there were three showers. Overall great experience and would stay there again.

Ocean Bay Park Getaway
We had a wonderful weekend in this home. It was very clean, neat, and had plenty of kitchen supplies. The owners are very helpful and also very nice to boot! It’s location to the ferry is great, and the house’s backyard is very private. It was a great family getaway!! We’re looking forward to returning!!

Lovely, clean, convenient hideaway in Ocean Bay Park!
We loved this house: from the front porch to the living room, 2 main bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen. The design touches were appreciated throughout; I especially loved the kitchen and bathroom tiling. We felt very much at home here, and very well taken care of by our hosts, Lydia and Pete. The outdoor shower off the huge deck was a plus, and the "cottage", which provided an extra room with two sets of bunk beds, plus an extra bathroom. While we didn't need this much space, we quickly imagined which family members or friends we'd invite to join us next time! Lydia was always available for questions and tips. The bikes were great and we got a lot of use out of them. The location is so close to the ferry, The Schooner, a good restaurant & bar, and the Pantry, a deli with great coffee and acai bowls! This is a perfect town to stay in for a restful, fun retreat, and this will certainly be our place to return to in OBP. Thank you, Lydia & Pete!

We had a fantastic Time!
This was an adorable house right off the ferry - great location! It was quaint and but up to date. Very clean and well managed. We had a great time and the owners were willing to work with us when we asked for a later check out time. We will definitely be renting again!

Adorable clean house is a wonderful location perfect for people who want to experience Fire Island
We had 2 adults and 4 teenagers and we all felt comfortable and enjoyed meals together and LOVED having a few bikes at the house so there was even less hassle to deal with renting them. Although we all have stayed around Ocean Beach in the past, we are sold on Ocean Bay Park after our wonderful week and can't wait to return. We could easily walked in and out of Ocean Beach or had the option to jump on a bike as well if we wanted. The adults really enjoyed Flynns and Schooners casual and lower key weeknight sunsets which were both a stones throw from our house.... . We had to be a little creative with the Kitchen supplies as we are BIG PASTA/SALAD BOWL kind of people, lol... but you come to Fire Island to enjoy the Island and all it has to offer and the house was a perfect place for us to be able to do this and make lots of fun memories!

Cute private house in a perfect location!
Beautiful place with big private deck with outdoor shower. Lots of space with modern kitchen and bathroom. For us the location was perfect because it was facing the bay on the main walkway. Store very close by that had fresh fruits, deli and everything we needed plus the sweetest people working there. Personally we prefer ocean bay park because it is more chill and laid back then ocean beach. 6 bikes and a wagon to use so we had everything we wanted. The owners were great, quick to respond by email and made sure the place was immaculately clean when we arrived.
