About this house rental
Nestled in Wrightsville Beach, this charming house for $738 per night is a great option for your next break. Influenced in part by the Coastal Living 2011 design home, this beach house will welcome you from the moment you enter. Beadboard accents, large ceiling fans, plentiful windows and cozy furniture provide a relaxing, comfortable atmosphere. The open floor plan on the main level includes a kitchen, living/great room and dining room. The centerpiece of the kitchen is a large island, complete with prep sink and bar seating. Custom cabinets, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops provide a great place to enjoy cooking and eating. The kitchen is fully-stocked with cookware, dishes and utensils. The living area boasts comfortable casual furniture, a large flat screen TV and a spacious covered porch just outside. Six chairs surround a large dining room table in the dining room which is ideal for eating, playing board games or doing a puzzle. The fourth bedroom is also on this floor; it sleeps 2 with twin beds and a full bath is adjacent. Three more spacious bedrooms offer sleeping for 6 people and are all on another floor. The master has a king bed and opens onto a large covered porch. The master bathroom includes a double marble vanity, custom cabinets, large ceramic tiled shower and a walk-in closet. The second bedroom on this floor features a King size bed, flat screen TV and its' own bathroom with a ceramic tile shower. The third bedroom on this floor features a Queen size and and its' own bathroom with a shower/bathtub combination. Linens are provided. Also on this floor is a laundry room with a washer and dryer. All bedrooms have a ceiling fan/light fixtures. Outside, there is parking for 4 cars and an enclosed outdoor shower for rinsing off the days' sand and salt. Two large covered porches offer lovely sound, marsh, and ocean views and are equally inviting for sharing morning coffee or evening cocktails. Beach chairs and Beach towels are provided, as well as an assortment or paperback books, board games and puzzles.

My husband, me and his 3 sisters spent a wonderful family get together at this beautiful beach home. Our son and his family just recently moved to Wilmington and they would come over for the beach and dinner.
You do not need anything at this home. Think of a kitchen utensil, it’s there. The home is spacious, beautiful and everyone had their own bath. We spent many mornings and evenings chatting on the covered porch. Not even Idalia could take away from thus fantastic vacation. My husband said “ this is the first time I don’t want to go home from vacation”. The kitchen, dining, living areas were spacious and comfortable. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets and towels, for the bathrooms and beach. Having the elevator for luggage and groceries .. a very big bonus!! We can’t wait to go back to this very beautiful home. We all decided this is going to become an annual event. Thank you Stetson family for sharing your wonderful beach home with us. The Porter Clan

This property was beyond amazing, in its layout and how practical and beautiful it was. As a family with 2 young adult kids, we appreciate space and a fully functional and elegant kitchen and living room. Terraces with a nice view and a location allowing us to walk 5 minutes to the beach. We will definitely come back.

The house was so well equipped. Everything we could have wanted was there.(except a ladle) The location wasn’t great for us since the rest of our family was at the South end of the beach but it worked. We really enjoyed our week.

This beautiful home is across the street and one block south of Johnnie Mercer Pier. Just as impressive, it is literally steps away from public access to the brackish water of the channel. Everything is flat in Wrightsville Beach, so it’s an easy walk to the beach, bars, and restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, flatware, glassware, and cookware. Previous renters and the owners also left behind a full spice rack including sugar, flour, salt, and pepper. There was even olive oil and cooking spray. House had plenty of sleeping options for our family of 5. It was hot as blazes and the inside of the house remained nice & cool. It would be nice to have outdoor ceiling fans on the roomy porches because it was too hot to sit outside until well after dark. Only had two issues with the rental, and both times the owners were responsive and understanding. The first issue was VRBO’s fault. We never received a reminder for our second payment and the amount was not automatically deducted from our credit card on file. We paid it manually by calling the toll free VRBO number. The owners were gracious not to cancel our rental. The second minor problem was that the cleaning service failed to show up before our arrival. The owner called us and apologized. Their daughter, son in law, and cleaning lady showed up promptly and cleaned the house top to bottom. The owner refunded our cleaning fee so things worked out well. We will definitely book this home again. Fantastic location!

Rent VRBO's all the time and this was the nicest one ever. Beautiful and comfortable house, well stocked kitchen (you will not need to buy any spices), stellar view, loads of parking and quick easy access to both ocean and sound. Even though this is the busy area of Wrightsville Beach, you are tucked back and don't feel overwhelmed with people and cars. We actually liked being in the center of it all. Could bike or walk to everything. Quick access to the bridges to go to Mayfaire and downtown Wilmington. Would absolutely stay here again!

Sam was the perfrct host. He was very responsive when I asked questions about restaurants, bike rentals, among other things.
The check in process was a breeze. Once we arrived we found his well organized welcome book, which had detailed many answers to the questions that we had asked days prior. Sam was way ahead of us!
The property is perfectly located where you can head away from Wrightsville Beach without having to endure the Lumina Ave traffic, otherwise you can walk to any of the shops, bars or restaurants along Wrightsville Beach, leaving your car at the house.
The home was well equipped with everything that we needed. It was VERY clean.
We look forward to returning.

We stayed at this house 4 years ago as my daughter was preparing to start college at UNCW and said then we should come and stay again when she graduated. Well that is exactly what we did. It was an awesome week to relax with family and celebrate her accomplishments. The time we spent together just sitting and talking on the porch will never be forgotten. The kitchen is well stocked so making meals was easy. It has virtually everything I have in my own kitchen. We LOVE this house and the hosts are wonderful.

Everything you will read about this beach house and their owners is absolutely true! Without a doubt, this WB home was the nicest, most well-equipped, and comfortable home that my family has ever enjoyed over our many years at a variety of East Coast beaches.
Every part of their home creates a sense of calmness and family engagement from the living area, to the front porch view overlooking the sound, to the dining & kitchen area. The feeling you get when the breeze is gently blowing as you sit on the third-story covered front porch and talk with loved ones looking out at the kayakers & SUP's gives you the peaceful feeling that all vacationers desire.
Sam & her husband were very gracious in all conversations we had with them before and during our stay. The house was extremely clean and the beds & furniture very comfortable. The only issue we had during our stay was that their home wifi was intermittent very often. I tried rebooting the router as Sam instructed, but it didn't seem to solve the entire problem.
For the Clark family, that was a minor "first-world" problem that we simply dealt with at various times. This house is a quick 5-8 minute walk to the beach with access right on the same street.
We thoroughly enjoyed this beach house, and you will too!!

The house is beautifully decorated and provided the perfect space for our family to celebrate my mother-in-law's 70th birthday. The living room seating was so comfortable and the kitchen was so spacious and had everything we needed. The rooms were spacious, we loved the deck, and the elevator made for easy loading and unloading. The WiFi was a bit spotty, but hopefully you won't need it too much as you'll be enjoying the area and company. Our family kept saying that we'd love to make a trip to this house an annual tradition, we loved it so much!

We loved this property on West Greensboro Street in Wrightsville! It was clean, comfortable and beautiful. The owners have done such a nice job making the house aesthetically pleasing with tasteful decor and stocking it with all you may need. I noticed and appreciated all the details! This was our family's annual trip and we have found no better place to call home for a week. It has all the amenities anyone could imagine...simply bring beach clothes! It is our comfort quiet space! This is a wonderful place and we have already planned another stay later this year!!! Looking forward to our next stay already!!!!

This is a beautifully appointed and oh, so organized WB home!! The photos on the listing are accurate: the floor plan is open, with hardwoods throughout and lots of natural light. The kitchen is stocked(!) with every pot, pan, or gadget you might need. We enjoyed sitting on the decks on both floors…with a nice view of the waterway. The home is at the end of a quiet, dead end street, which is great. The only reason I gave 4 stars on location is because it’s a partial view of the waterfront ( …but you can still see water! :) Sam, the owner, is incredibly responsive. We had a couple of maintenance issues and she was “on it”, resolving them expediently. The four bedrooms and four baths were all clean. We loved our stay and look forward to renting again. Highly recommend!
