Private beach retreat on 1+ acre and views of ocean!

What a wonderful time. Steve is a great host., very accommodating. The house is bueatiful and spacious. Views from every window. There were 10 of us ladies spread out, partying and having a great time! We were quite comfortable, everything we needed we found. Even with the cool temperatures, and a little breeze off the ocean, the deck saw allot of acton. Stay was NOT long enough. Denise & Crew

We were honestly disappointed with our stay. We arrived on a Thursday night for my sister-in-law's wedding over the weekend -- 8 of us total. The house was not as clean as we expected, the carpet on the stairs is (very) stained, and the whole place felt like it needed a deep clean. Clean linens were waiting for us in bags outside when we arrived, but furniture and fixtures are dated. We noticed lots of reviews about how responsive the owner was so we reached out to him Friday morning to let him know that the 3rd floor bathroom sink was broken and half the lights in the 2nd floor bath weren't working. We asked if someone could please come that day to fix the third floor bathroom sink, which my in-laws were unable to use. I finally got a message on Friday at 4:30 pm, while we were en route to the wedding rehearsal dinner, saying a plumber could come in the next 2 hours, could we be there? I said no and he asked if we could be available for a 2 hour block the following day - the day of the wedding. I was surprised that he was making this our responsibility when we were staying there only 3 days and were preoccupied with wedding plans. He gave my cell phone number to the plumber without asking me, and I had multiple missed calls from them on Saturday morning while we were getting ready for the wedding. He had also said the issue with the lights "happened the other day" and he couldn't get anyone in to fix them until the following Monday. But, before writing this review, I just realized that the previous review from August mentioned the broken lights as well. Dishwasher and back screen door are also broken, and there is no curtain in the 3rd floor bedroom, which gets a TON of light in the morning - after 1 day we hung a blanket to block out light. which worked as a makeshift solution, but seems like a strange oversight. There were some bright spots: the view from the third floor is great, neighborhood/ private beach is nice, house can definitely accommodate a large group, our kids loved taking a bath in the giant tub, and owner was flexible when we requested a late checkout. But overall we were expecting more from our stay.

We rented the house for our wedding party and it was perfect. We all got ready at the house together and the layout and size of the house worked so well. Five couples all had their own bedroom and privacy, and enjoyed the many living areas and decks to hang out together. The views from the top floor are incredible and it’s only a short walk to the beach. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The house was great but the host, Steve, was just as awesome. As a stressed bride wanting to make sure my bridal party had a good time, I reached out to Steve a number of times with questions and to see the house before our visit. He always responded right away and was incredibly helpful leading up to our stay. He even gave me some words of wisdom for our wedding day and reminded me to enjoy it! Thanks, Steve!! From reservation to check out, this was a fantastic stay... this is the perfect place for big groups traveling in the area!!

We had our sister's bday weekend in Point Judith and the property was perfect. Very comfortable, beautiful views, convenient and great communication with the owner. Will definitely plan on going back in the future!

We had a perfect family birthday weekend. Plenty of room for our large family to spread out and relax and engage. Great pantry and fridge space, awesome deck and grill. Wonderful eat-in kitchen area with spectacular views even in misty, foggy weather. We took a family hike on the beach to the lighthouse which was a highlight. Steve was easy and breezy to accommodate our last minute booking request. Highly recommend!!

We had a great time. House was ad advertised, and in an amazing location. 180 degree views of the ocean from the deck while also being secluded and giving you a sense of privacy. All communication with the owner was super easy. I would definitely stay here again.
