About this cottage rental

Situated in Wilmington, this lovely cottage for $99 per night is a great option for your next trip. Adults only, (all guests must be 21 or older). Two guests max!!! Also, I get a lot of requests for small pets. Due to safety and health concerns, I cannot accommodate any pets at all. That includes service or support animals. The cottage is to the rear left of my property behind the main house where I reside. If you look at the aerial photo, you can see the proximity the cottage is to the house. It's about a 25 foot distance. It is very private though but for purposes of full disclosure, some outdoor spaces are visible from my ring cameras. For instance, my ring camera at my back door can pick up who enters the back yard and cottage but does not pick up images from inside the cottage or the private back patio to the cottage. I also have a ring camera on my front door that can see the driveway. That being said, you’re going to love the privacy and the location of this quaint cottage, tucked away smack dab between Wrightsville and Carolina Beach in the popular Masonboro section of Wilmington. For those unfamiliar with Wilmington, this area is not only very desired, but also very safe! The driveway is not paved and the path to the cottage is also unpaved but has concrete stepping stones that lead you to the cottage door. The middle space in the parking area is the designated space for the cottage. There is only one parking space designated for the cottage. If you have a friend or family member stop by for a visit, they will need to park in the street in front of my house. If you are interested in booking the cottage, please note: No parties or events. No smoking or vaping of anything inside cottage or patio room. No pets of any kind including service animals. Not suitable for children. Guests must be twenty one and older. Two guest max. Please do not remove any artwork from walls, including the nude woman pencil drawing in the bathroom. If the artwork in my home offends anyone, it is best they don't book a stay at the cottage. This 465sf Cozy Cottage comes with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Amenities also include washer and dryer, the full kitchen minus a dishwasher, Keurig for coffee, tea, pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc... A small brick private patio off the back of the cottage has a table and two chairs, a lion fountain, and roses and flowers seasonally. Other outdoor spaces include the fire pit and the patio room. The fire pit and patio room are shared spaces but your back patio is all for you. Please note that there is no smoking or vaping of anything inside the patio room. All vaping and smoking must be done outside. The cottage has an open floor plan design with a queen size bed. There is also a small drop leaf table (that gets much larger), and two chairs that can be used for eating, a work space, or for playing board games on a rainy day. The large flat screen tv is a roku smart tv with streaming capability. Use the Spectrum App provided to access basic channels or use your own apps like Netflix, Prime, Hulu, HBO, etc... We fell in love with this cottage at first sight. The inside is adorable and cozy but the outside patio and yard takes it to another level! It’s like being in a hidden world but only minutes away from the downtown area and beaches.

Pictures do not do this cottage justice. It was so comfortable Decorated with art & style & attention to detail. Too many wonderful details to list! My host was extremely helpful & I was traveling alone & felt safe in such a lovely neighborhood.

Patricia was so friendly and helpful. The house was wonderful with plenty of space, very comfortable, and relaxing. The neighborhood is quiet, even sitting outside in the evening was most pleasant. Would highly recommend this for a single person or a couple. We will plan to stay here on our next trip to this area.

I needed a place to stay for a few days while my son was attending a college event. I did not want to stay in a hotel so my husband found me this perfect cottage in Wilmington close to the beaches. The cottage and outdoor gardens/screened in porch/fire pit deck made my stay so relaxing and peaceful. The street is very quiet and the way the backyard is landscaped, it feels very private. The cottage was so comfortable and had everything you could think of. You can tell Patti put a lot of thought and care into providing guests a wonderful and relaxing place to stay. I’m definitely bringing hubby back for the next stay.

My husband and I loved our stay at Patty's sweet little cottage. It rained most of our stay in Wilmington -so we did a lot of snuggling and relaxing and watching movies. (A much needed break from everyday life) The cottage has everything you need. The location is very convenient to restaurant, grocery stores and downtown Wilmington. Wrightsville Beach is close by and Carolina and Kure Beach are a short drive away. Although the cottage is in Patty's backyard -our privacy was 100%respected. We never saw or heard anyone. Communication with Patty was flawless. We definitely recommend her place for you to stay. We will return! Thank you Patty for lending us your little gem.

The cottage is adorable and the garden areas are wonderful. Perfect for two. The ac was a bit loud, fortunately the evenings were cool enough to just use the ceiling fans, there are two. The living areas were clean. I thought a couple of areas could have used just a bit more attention. The kitchen area was very clean.

This cottage is everything a couple needs. Comfort, cleanliness, thoughtful eclectic decor, multiple forms of games/brain exercises, great kitchen and bath, outside sitting areas that are beautiful ….and did I say comfort? Yes I did but I’ll repeat it because it exudes ease and relaxation.

This cottage is absolutley adorable! Cozy, comfy and effocient. Every need has been incorporated, I felt at home the minute I stepped inside. Impeccably adorned inside and out. The large yard was beautifully landscaped and a second private area is an added bonus. I can not say enough here but I have recommended it to my every friend and relative, this is the best value lodging in the industry!

We absolutely enjoyed staying in this quaint little cottage. We came for a wedding, but turned it into a much needed getaway. The cottage was perfect. It was clean and quiet. Has a beautiful back yard. I'd definitely recommend renting Patti's place for a romantic getaway away from all Hustle and bustle, yet close to everything. We are hoping to go back again next spring.
