Bayside Mountain Retreat With Gorgeous Views And Private Hot Tub!

Nestled in San Rafael, this charming house for $1,021 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Private, mountain view home less than 1 mile from beautiful San Francisco Bay.  Just steps from your front door, access over 15 miles of China Camp State Park hiking and mountain biking trails featuring panoramic San Francisco Bay views. Eco-friendly and environmentally conscious solar-powered home with backup batteries that keep things running smoothly during power outages plus EV charger. The ExperienceTake in beautiful China Camp State Park views from nearly every window in the house, or while dining al fresco, or soaking in the salt water hot tub on the back deck. Listen to the hundreds of different song birds and maybe spot a deer or fox at sunset. Haven for nature lovers! Spend the day on a beautiful hike, golfing or picnicking, fishing and/or stand up paddleboarding at one of the many nearby bayside beaches. Biking is built into the fabric and culture all over Marin County, and it was the birth place of mountain biking!The SpaceLocated in the charming and welcoming Glenwood neighborhood, this large 1-acre cul-de-sac property is a rare find! The main floor offers 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The open floor concept connects the kitchen with dining and living rooms and expands outdoors to a generous and private deck with views of the hills. Modern kitchen features stainless steel appliances, lots of counter space, skylights and a well-appointed island. A charming wood-burning fireplace, exposed wood beams, hardwood floors, views and a kitchen wall of large panoramic glass  create the unique feeling of an upscale mountain home. The lower level is accessible from the main floor or a private entrance and features 2 more bedrooms, a bonus living space, full kitchen and full bathroom with an insulated soaking bathtub. The three single beds are in the same room. Mountain Haus is fabulous. We had plenty of space for our group (a family of 3 and a family of 4), and appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, the lovely products in the bathrooms, the jacuzzi, the location, and the helpful communication by the hosts.

Amazing house with every thing you may need!
This home was meticulously clean and so well cared for. A perfect location in Marin county with Napa about 40 mins away and the Marin Headlands about 20 mins. We were so excited about the view and the easy walk to the water. San Fran proper was easy to get to as well. WE highly recommend this house for a great couples get away!!!
