Construction.

Of course the construction was loud right above me. I wanted to leave the room ASAP.. Nights were ok. The pillows were the worst.

Location is great

Bathroom was very small

The good: The room upgrades are nice. Feels cozier than before. Has some good lighting and interesting furniture pieces. Bathrooms are soooo much better than before. Bed is more comfortable. Staff are genuinely kind and helpful. Response time for issues is very fast. Restaurant is pretty good, cool staff. It's a great location.

The bad: Some of the same issues remain unresolved. Despite the renovation, same old loud water cooler sits in the corner. No upgrade there and hard to sleep with it on, but the room gets very stuffy without it. Only ever one working elevator out of 4. Why? I need to know. It's shared with workers and construction people. Huh? Currently a ghost town here. Construction going on. No pool area. Lots and Lots and Lots of loud banging and drilling and buzz sawing that sounds like they're coming through the wall. Understood, they're upgrading. But no discounts, no free breakfast, not even a drink voucher for the bar. Come on guys. Doesn't feel right to spend a thousand dollars here and not be able to be in your room for a good part of the time. Please focus on your customers more and we'll keep coming back. Optics matter. Too many things slide that shouldn't.
