You have views views views, with a partial view of Mt Shasta from the Front Porch, the back porch boasts a view of Mt Eddie, and from the kitchen window you have a view of the Crags National Park. The kitchen is oversized, with a dining room area as well as living room. You and your family can enjoy the sites of Mt Shasta as well as close driving distance to Dunsmuir, McCloud, and Weed.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. Kitchen well equipped, beds comfortable. Location excellent. As were the fallen apples in the front yard. Having only one bathroom wasn't as much of a problem as anticipated for the 6 of us. Cable TV, however, was unusable.

Great stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. The only negatives: the hot water ran out after two quick showers. A few spoons suitable for children would have been nice, since they were all very large. But great stay overall.

I used to live in Mt. Shasta so I was looking to stay in town. This house is in a great location at the south end of town and reasonably priced. The house needs a bit of updating to the furniture in the living room but the beds are comfortable. The host was accessible and accommodating in adding additional days to our stay due to the winter storm that dumped so much snow we could not get to our next destination. We did need help with shovelling the driveway and walk because it snowed a couple of feet and the host had it done in the beginning of the week. However when it snowed another foot or two later in the week and he was delayed in communicating if he would have a plow person out again, we ended up having to have a friend plow the driveway for us. Other than that, our 8 nights there were enjoyable.

The house was clean upon arrival and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Check in and check out were simple and the owner was fantastic to communicate with. The location is perfect for what we needed. Walking distance to downtown area and restaurants. Easy access to Hwy 89 with skiing/sledding and hiking nearby. Will plan to stay here again.

We had a great stay at this charming 1930s house in downtown Mt Shasta City. It has a great location, with a lot of downtown shopping within walking distance, and close proximity to lakes (Siskiyou and Castle) to cool off. It also has a great host and nearby neighbor who helps maintain the property. I thought I had lost my wedding band in the lake, and let the host know in case it turned up at the house. Lo and behold, the host found it while cleaning up and shipped it back to me! Not only is the place well kept with a great location, but it's nice to know the hosts are honorable folks. We'll be staying there again if we go back to Shasta (& it's available).

We loved staying at this property. It was well equipped and iOS in a great location, including friendly neighbors! The large backyard was great for the kids to play. Loved the Trekker theme!

Trekkers is a great place. The beds were comfy with plenty of blankets for cozying up in the wintertime. The kitchen has everything you need and there are games and books and tv for hunkering after outdoor snow adventures. There is easy access to eateries within walking distance and close to skiing. We had a great time and would definitely come again!

The house makes for a great mountain vacation. Great location, good size backyard (my kids loved playing in the snow in the yard), and house was clean and had everything we needed. Roger was responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend.
