Disappointing stay at Alvida Towers , Davao .

The location was good .

On arrival there was only one out of the 3 lifts working, so there were subsequently long queues , I approached the front desk about the lifts on more than one occasion, but the personnel on the reception wasn't helpful. The bed I can only describe as awful as the mattress was only 4 inches deep . On the second night of our stay, we woke up in the morning to find a cockroach in the bed and then found that my partner had been bitten repeatedly on his legs which I hasten to add for over a week was very painful . On the third night again, another cockroach was found in the bed . We then realised there was a cockroach infestation in our condo and found not but one bait box, but 3 . Whilst looking for the bait boxes found that the condo was in fact quite dirty, probably why there was an infestation of roaches currently. The television was disappointing because all the premium channels weren't available, so if you weren't Filipino spoken , completely useless . Finally the condo had multiple evidences of earthquake damage with plaster dust built up on most of the floor edges, which was still there after the condo was periodically cleaned . In general the Alvida Towers is showing signs of age and neglect especially with weeds growing outside of my most of the individual condo air-conditioning units .

Owner need to be more flexible especially with ladies and family

Near the city Center

Thé restrictions of having guest, as im girl traveling to see my family in Davao and you not allowed to have even mother and baby in , towels are not clean and too old ,owner need to be more aware that visitors are allowed to have guest especially for those coming from long distances and wanted to see family and friends, ị stayed in 5 hotels around the world never experienced anything like this, i had a security stopping my cousin and her 6years old daughter by the gate not even allowing them tó reception, im very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay there.

Room was decent but poor staff, will charge for any problems including ones that could’ve been fixed by yourself or prob

Decent location and room was clean.

Staff charged us for damages previously existing before staying in the room. Had to plug in refrigerator to another outlet in room because multiple outlets did not work, revealing preexisting scratches. No plunger provided so when toilet got clogged we were charged for that too.

The wall clock wasn't working. The closet and the cutlery drawer had a strange smell. Exhaust fan was noisy. No bedside lamp.

Don’t book it ….. worst stay in my intire travels

No use of the swimming pool,0nly 2visits a week , per hour only… not in description on booking.com … pure rip off. Netflix not working, cockroaches all over the apartment, staff unapproachable, talking on the phone or responding to a text while your trying to speak to them. Received a text confirming they will change bedding and towel …… after six days of being!!!!

Cockroaches,,, dirty bedding , towels no use of swimming pool unhelpful staff …..

Superb

The property it self it was clean and all the appliances were in good condition. Maam dhines is very accommodating and responsive to our chat that we need to extend 2 hrs. Thank you maam kudos to you po.

The aircon needs cleaning, no induction stove tho but it would be very nice to have one.

Accessible and value for money

I love that it was very accessible and near many establishments and restaurants. Easy to check in and get inside the room. The host was very responsive and accommodating to our queries.

The AC was a bit noisy in the room we stayed in.

Access to nearby stores and restaurant. The guards were polite and helpful.

Every night we heard a noise from the other room. The TV isn’t functional and the WiFi connection was very poor. The other bed is just a foam to be placed on the sala. No frame.

Would recommend you avoid booking

Convenient location in the heart of the city.

I travelled from the UK to Davao to see my friends. Host has many restrictions on my visitors and wants extra payment for visitors (350 PHP per person) and pool access (another 250 PHP per person). Very unfriendly host nearly ruined my trip. Felt very unwelcome and not recommend or stay there again!

NOTHING.. PRICE WISE IT WAS NOT WORTH IT... ROOM IS SMALL.. AMENITIES IS NOT AS ADVERTISED

ROOM IS SMALL INFO ABOUT THE POOL CLOSED ON SUNDAY AND MONDAY IS NOT MENTIONED.. YOU NEED TO READ IT IN THE POLICIES WHICH IS NOT GREAT MARKETING AS WHO READ POLICIES WHEN RENTING.. HOWEVER POOL WAS ADVERTISED ON THE DESCRIPTION AS THEIR AMMENETIES.. RENTER WAS NOT SO ACCOMODATING AND HELPFUL RENTER SEND THE ADDL POLICIES LATE. 12 HRS AFTER WE HAD CHECKED IN

All in all I have a wonderful stay

Self check in process was very easy. The guards were amazing and very well versed with the check in process. All my stay in Avida is with Lemonique Homes and the property mngr and her team are very help and easily reached.

Bathroom mat would be a good addition and the placement of microwave be put in a position that it is near the.

I would certainly stay at Avida Towers room 1909 again ..

spacious for a one bed . Well laid out . Great views over Davao city . Bathroom was well kitted out .

I kept hitting my head on the corner of the extractor unit over the microwave. Shame there was No induction.

Exceptional; best condominium lodging

Best condominium lodging we had so far in Davao City. It's like your very own condo unit. Got a great view of the city, room includes common kitchen appliances (eg. toaster, oven with range hood exhaust, refrigerator, electronic kettle) and enough plates with dishwashing liquid and sponge, also trash bin at the kitchen. There was a mini area for dining with table and chair. Also got a clothes cabinet with enough cubicles, clothes hangers, clothes iron and ironing board. Bathroom is clean and all utilities are working (sink, flush of the toilet, exhaust, shower and water heater), had provided extra towels and body wash/soap, shampoo and trash bin. Having a free access to Netflix & Youtube Premium plus strong WiFi were a great bonus indeed. The room itself is safe, there's a key safe, we were worry-free during our stay here. Bed was definitely comfy and huge, comes with a comforter and air-conditioning unit was an inverter one plus room was oozing with pleasant smell, strong but calming perfume, I personally love that. I will definitely rebook and will only book as much as possible at Avida Davao by Lemonique Homes. Location of the condominium was at the city proper, near laundry sites, convenience stores etc. Didn't have a single issue from booking to stay; Miss D. was accommodating and had been sending instructions/reminders, and offers assistance in case needed.
