A wonderful birthday weekend spent at the green mountain in.

Every year I come back in the winter to use the out door pool !

Cozy colonial hotel with charm and comfort

I loved the hotel’s amenities including the lounge spaces, game room, outdoor pool and jacuzzi. We stayed in the king deluxe room with an in room jacuzzi in the Mansfield house which is slightly further from the main building and amenities. The room was extremely spacious. Lighting was a little limited but it added to the romance. The location is perfectly situated in town - close to various restaurants and cafes. We particularly enjoyed how relaxing the hotel was despite coming to Stowe to ski for weekend. The hotel had enough to keep us occupied if we were taking a day off from the mountain.

One critique is the cleanliness of the in room jacuzzi. Upon using ours, we noticed mildew and brown dirt building up. We opted to stick with the outdoor jacuzzi as it’s likely to be cleaned more frequently.

Great place! Love the hot tub and heated pool!!!!

The room was great! very clean and comfortable. We loved the fireplace and jacuzzi also.

The TV however kept cutting out and the CBS channel didn't work at all. Also some more coffees for our second day would be nice. Also some tea bags. Breakfast wasn't very good. The coffee was horrible but we still had to pay for it.

Super beautiful and fun experience

Beautiful and the pool and hot tub were super fun to use in the winter outside.

The outdoor hot tub wasn’t very hot and the street noise was pretty loud at night but manageable

Great stay nonetheless

Very nice traditional style inn. Great location

Just the staff when we checked out, they seemed not to know if we had paid (even though we paid) and when I asked to want to make sure everything was settled before we left, she said she needs to move on to other clients. Lacked professionalism

Great place to stay in Stowe. Would definitely stay again. The Whip restaurant was delicious

Perfect location and great staff.

Bed and pillows were abit uncomfortable.

Cozy in Stowe

The location was excellent, and the room was very clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable, with a nice variety of pillows

The HVAC was a bit noisy at times, but it wasn't disruptive.

Beautiful, charming stay

We loved how comfortable and large the room was. Even a faux fireplace that added to the ambiance. Of all the places we stayed during our trip, this was o e we actually took pictures of.

Wonderful time at the beautiful, historic Green Mountain Inn!

Lovely Inn. Great staff and comfortable room with Queen bed. On site was the Whip Bar and Grill which we ate at and enjoyed our meal. Had a few drinks at the pub with a great bar tender! Lovely breakfast room with a decent menu and attentive staff. Lovely Inn and well maintained!

The only negative comment I can make, is that the window A/C was very loud! The first night we turned it off due to the annoying noise.

Couple Getaway

Excellent hotel, right in the Middle of Stow Village. Great desk staff, restaurant and wait staff, suites are excellent, food was excellent. Facilities are full service and spotless with a heated pool and spa. Outdoor ping pong at the pool was awesome!

Clubhouse and gym could be updated/remodeled at some point in the future but it's a wonderful property and has a great pool.

The food was terrific. We ate there for Dinner twice and once for breakfast. The staff wherever we went were very friendly! Especially Harrison at the front desk!

Very charming hotel in the heart of Stowe

What a wonderful, historic hotel right in downtown Stowe. Every staff member we encountered was so welcoming, especially bar hosts and bartenders. Clean room, great sitting areas. Food in restaurant was delicious. Loved that the pool was open until 10. Only a little constructive feedback - other than that, we very much enjoyed our stay.

We didn’t know we would be staying on the 2nd floor, or that we would not have access to an elevator for our luggage, it was a bit challenging. A couple of areas (Pool hallway and more notably the women’s bathroom down by the Whip) smelled horrible of sewage or rot. Bathtub/shower difficult to get in and out of in spite of hand rails, it’s so deep.

Excellent - highly recommended.

We had a fabulous, spacious room with a large bathroom, very comfortable bed, fire in the room and plenty of storage space. Quiet, warm and located right in the centre of Stowe. Plenty of car parking and easy access to the local, free bus.

The hotel restaurant (The Whip) was a bit pricey - the food and service were great but food and wine were both over-priced.

we had a wonderful time at the green mountain inn. everything was just perfect but the old beds :(

beautiful and charming property located at the center of Stowe’s historic center. staff is attentive and responsive. the outdoor heated pool is was huge plus for the kids

beds were not comfortable. in need for an update!
