My stay was great, thanks in large part to Oma and Niza (sp?)!
I liked everything, especially the staff! I had never been in Morocco before and was not sure what to expect. The hotel was wonderful. I will be sure to book it again the next time I visit Marrakesh! Merci beaucoup!
There was nothing I did not like

Aggresive owner but decent location
Courtyard was nice, good location and staff at the riad were nice.
The room we were initially given opened directly onto the communal area, giving limited privacy and we were woken up both days by someone having coffee directly outside our room (about 2 ft from where we were sleeping with very thin walls). The Riad was quite sarcastic when we asked to change rooms and a comment was made about us being a couple who “change their mind a lot”. Our stuff (including our passports in the safe) were then packed up and dumped in our new room whilst we were out with no communication, to the extent where we walked into our previous room without knowing we had been moved and had to enquire as to where our things had been moved. We were celebrating my birthday and our anniversary and to do anything to make us feel special, there was an expensive extra charge (including trying to make us pay for breakfast twice when allowing us to have room service). They then demanded we pay for the extras straight away and in cash which took the magic out of it. The room floors were very dirty and the shower was blocked with hair. They made us check out the day before we were leaving and presented us with a random figure they demanded we pay in cash for things like airport transfers and a birthday cake (we tried to pay in card, but no go). The lady who runs the medina was very aggressive and rude on the phone to me and was angry we asked for a breakdown. Upon receiving her breakdown, her calculation was shown to be incorrect. I had to deal with 20 minutes of aggressiveness and rudeness late at night with no apology for the error. No receipt was provided which made us feel uncomfortable. The location is good and the ladies at the riad are lovely but whoever is running the show has no skills with customers and should not have a front facing role.

Very good
great location near the souks, nice homemade styled breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, loved the black soap given in the bathrooms.
more variety needed at breakfast, wifi was at times weak, riad is hard to find with gps at first so contact the riad as needed to coordinate taxi drop off points. if you have a big suitcases it might be worth it to get some help from the locals with the trolley to pull your bags.
