We started with the front desk getting us a room early and then an upgrade. We had dinner and breakfast at the 1902. Both were above and beyond and breakfast was made possible with the waitress allowing us to come in after the designated hours of service. Everyone was simply wonderful 💛

The history of the resort. The views are beautiful. The decor and hospitality is lovely
It's a resort so you are paying top dollar. You shouldn't have to pay for parking. That should be included in your stay

Everything - its history, the well maintained building and grounds, the setting, the immaculate rooms. The staff were super tentative and helpful.
While we were upgraded to a corner/vista room
with mountains views, the view was not directly of Mountain Washington which otherwise we would have had with our smaller original room. We were upgraded because our original booked room was not available.

Lots to do and great trail systems. Nearby attractions and was able to do a lot with kids.
Although the hotel has historical charm, it’s not kept up well. The rooms felt rag tag and shabby. Stained furniture, missing lightbulbs, torn lampshade, window covers with missing pulls, etc. what a shame to see such a beautiful place not being cared for.
