We loved our stay here. The listing is accurate, pictures were true to real life. Beds comfy, house was wonderful, perfect place for a weekend or a long stay. The location could not be beat!! The hosts were attentive and extremely helpful. The first 20 steps to get to the lift were challenging with 70 lbs of luggage (we'd been traveling for a month), but we knew about them in advance and were prepared! Would recommend this property!

Niccolo was helpful to us before we even left for Florence because we had to change the days we booked. He was very responsive and professional. Before we left for home, Niccolo booked us a taxi for the airport since we couldn't get the taxi app to work. He is a dependable and responsive host.
The apt is cozy and is like visiting a relative's home. It is spacious and comfortable. There were only 2 of us staying, and we appreciated having 2 bathrooms and showers and a laundry area, although there is no dryer. I see this as a cultural difference, and our clothes dried fine on a rack.
The location is just down the street from Santa Maria del Fiore (Duomo). It is where we wanted to be. So close to shops and grocery stores. We frequented the caffe on the corner for coffee and breakfast items.
The apt is a short walk to the train station as well. We were able to go to Bologna for a day on a fast train, and also to San Gimignano on a regional train. We were able to do a deep dive in Florence, seeing sights that a tour would not go to. The apt was a great home base. And we thought it was a very good price because we traveled in November.

The apartment was very spacious, well-equipped and charming with wood beams and period details. Communication with the property manager was excellent. He responded quickly when we voiced minor concerns. Location was down the street from the Duomo and all major sights were walkable. Highly recommended!

The lovely apartment is easy to relax in and the kitchen is easy to cook in. It is convenient to many museums and restaurants

The apartment had 2 decent sized bedrooms, a reasonably equipped kitchen and a generously sized living area. It is fabulously well located, just behind the Duomo. The hosts were quite accessible when we encountered issues. The downsides are that there is a lift, but you have to go up a long flight of stairs to access it. We encountered an issue with the electrical system - we plugged in a lamp that knocked out the power to the whole apartment. Our hosts did come and fix it, but the lamp was definitely unsafe. One couple found the bed too hard. The only other quibble was that the internet was weak.

The spacious apartment was seconds from the Duomo and all downtown Florence has to offer. We greatly enjoyed our stay. Nicollo responded quickly to any questions we had.

Location can't be beat. Beautifully decorated apartment around the corner from the Duomo. I wouldn't recommend for those with young children, but it was the perfect place for two couples to use as home base while exploring Florence.

Niccolo and his father, Giuseppe, are fantastic hosts and this location is perfect for a stay in Florence (though beware the distant ringing of the duomo bells at 7 am every morning which we got used to quickly and used as our alarm clock). The apartment has everything needed for a short or extended stay (we were there for a month). All the beds are very comfortable and roughly king size. There is lots of living space and the living room has great seating!
The building is conveniently located for all the major Florence ‘must see’ sites and very near excellent restaurants as well. The hosts provided many recommendations and are extremely responsive whenever needed. My wife’s purse was stolen near the Pitti Palace (always be alert) with the apartment keys inside. The hosts replaced them within a few hours! We highly recommend the hosts and this apartment.

The apartment is very spacious. Lots of living space. After the apartment cooled down it was quite comfortable. The location is very central and convenient. There is street noise which is unavoidable being so close to the Duomo. Niccolo met us at the time of our arrival and allowed us to immediately check in. He was very accommodating.

Perfect Florence stay
What a perfect place to stay! We were here for 10 days in the middle of June and had an excellent time. The apartment had everything you could want: amazing views, air conditioning, an elevator, a washing machine, super aesthetically pleasing, a short walk to the super market, and good communication from the host. We loved every minute of our time in Florence and would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location for a main base around Florence. Easy to get to all the major areas that we wanted to visit. Didn’t meet Niccolo but Giuseppe was pleasant and charming. Only con was the showers. Took a long while for water to warm up and we could pick either very hot or very cold. Still, I would stay here again.

Wonderful accommodation in a great location
Only a block from the Duomo, this apartment has everything you need, is very comfortable and nicely decorated, and serves as a great base of operations. It's very reasonably priced for what you get, with a kitchen for the occasional casual meal at home, laundry facilities, and plenty of room to spread out in comfort. Good wifi and air conditioning. The hosts were very helpful, and they adapted without a problem when our initial flight was canceled and we had to arrive a day late and at a different time. I strongly recommend it!

1) The cold/hot water in the shower don’t come out even. I have to take cold shower and rush thru it.
2) All the towels in this place need to be replaced, they are way too old to be used.
3) need to have a mirror outside the bathroom.
4) the refrigerator does not work properly.
5) be careful with the chairs in the dining room. You may fall out of the chairs because they are too old.
6) pots/pans are too old. One of the pots leaks while I boil water.

Our experience at this flat was awesome. It was very charming and extremely well kept and clean. It was walking distance to everywhere in Florence. The street is quiet at night, just far enough away from the night crowds. Well stocked kitchen. When we returned at the end of the day it felt like we had arrived home. I hope we can stay here when we are back in Florence in a couple of years again! Thank you Niccolo and Giuseppe.

Great location
The great thing about this apartment is its location. You can get to any part of the centre of Florence on foot with ease. The apartment itself is good with all the necessary bits and pieces although it is beginning to look a little tired in places. Although we were there for a week we didn't do any cooking so can't comment on the cooker etc. There was enough crockery and the dishwasher was fine. The bedrooms were a good size with plenty of storage space and spare blankets if you felt the cold. All in all, a nice apartment for a week.

The property was absolutely perfect for us, two couples. The location is fabulous. I love walking out the building and being so close to the Duomo. Will stay again if lucky enough to come back.

Convenient, Comfortable, and Safe
We stayed in this apartment for 5 days as a couple and enjoyed its convenient location, spaciousness, nice lay-out, and a safe feeling of having a home in Florence.
The location is close to all attractions, but the crowd doesn't reach this street. Not only a little supermarket (opened till 10 pm) is right opposite the front door, but also many delicious grocery stores, cafes, etc.
The apartment itself offers enough privacy for families with children, having two full bathrooms and a spacious kitchen.
There are two flights of stairs to reach the elevator.
We found Niccolo and his father to be very helpful, charming, easy to reach.
We are grateful for this find, and are looking forward to return.

Great apartment. Would definitely recommend.
This apartment was great. Communication between the owners and ourselves was easy. It was easy to get to from the train station and the location was amazing. It was so convenient to go out for the morning and do the sight seeing thing and then be able to come back to the apartment and chill out for a bit before we went back out in the evening. The view of the Duomo from living room window was pretty cool and being able to look down to the street and people watch was fun. Nice big apartment, two bedrooms and two bathrooms plus a laundry room meant there was plenty of space to spread out. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Florence location
This property is in a perfect location close to the Duomo and within walking distance of all major attractions. Very comfortable lower level accommodations with a 2nd bedroom in the loft. Niccolo was always prompt with communications and very easy to work with. Would stay here again on next visit to Florence.

Central and comfortable
We were a party of three adults and found the apartment extremely spacious and comfortable. It is in an elegant building very close to the cathedral and the apartment itself is well equipped and charming. The air conditioning was both effective and quiet though it must be said that the weather was not particularly warm during our stay so we did not rely on it to any significant degree. My only reason for not rating it 5 stars is the lighting in the kitchen which really does need some attention. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly hope to rent it again and would recommend it to others.

Wonderful Experience
I traveled to Florence with my mother and mother in-law to visit my daughter who is studying in Florence. This apartment was so close to my daughter's apartment. It was a perfect location central to everything. We just loved looking out our window and seeing the Duomo. It was so very beautiful at every time of day or night. The apartment was clean with everything needed to make our stay pleasurable. The host Niccolo is so easy to communicate with. He responded very quickly to any questions I had. I highly recommend staying here.....I hope to be back next year! Florence is a magical place.

Historic, charming, spacious
My family (couple + 1 boy teen/1 girl teen) enjoyed our stay in this 3rd floor (elevator) apt for 4 days in late December. The photos of this apartment are the perfect reflection of what you will find: a
spacious apartment just 1 block away from the Duomo. 2 full baths, 2 BRs (both Queen beds, the upstairs bedroom is a loft so if you are looking for super privacy the downstairs BR is better). The apt is decorated with lovely art work, Florentine dishware, and is more like a home than any other of the many rentals I've stayed in.
We were there in December and the heat was FANTASTIC--as was the WIFI in all rooms, super fast. All rooms are large, windows are large with quaint interior shutters, large wooden dining room table that easily sits 6. LR has 3 (!) large couches; 1 of our teens opted to sleep directly on the very comfortable couches. The kitchen has every appliance/kitchen item you can think of and all in great order. Lots of cleaning supplies (no need to purchase a sponge, dishwasher soap, dish soap etc) which was very convenient. Washer/dryer combo is up a somewhat fragile, narrow, corkscrew staircase (think: fire station) w/ spacious laundry area and room to hang dry clothing. Grocery store about 4 blocks away. Safe, historic neighborhood.
Cons: The one and only con is related to a restaurant on the ground floor. We found it very noisy in the evening and until midnight. In December and even with windows closed and interior shutters closed, it was noisy enough that I didn't know how my teens were going to fall asleep in the upstairs BR and in the LR because of the restaurant clientele below laughing, talking, shouting while waiting for a table or hanging out outside the restaurant after the meal. Not blaring music, just very very loud conversations, shouts, etc due to stone bldgs. My teens did fall asleep. I'm sure ear plugs would also solve the problem. The other issue re: the restaurant is that many of the clientele smoke immediately below the windows of the apt. In December this was not a problem, (although the noise of the people was loud) but I'd be a bit concerned that if the windows were open the smoke would drift directly above and into the apt. I DIDN"T EXPERIENCE THAT so that might not be true, but I would be cautious or ask the owner. He was lovely to deal with before the rental, assuring me that the WIFI was good (and it was!); his dad who oriented us to the apt was just as charming. Enjoyed it!

Great apartment in a great city.
This is an excellent flat with two full bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and shower. The unit on the lower level has a great tub too. It is basically in the center of the city so you can walk everywhere but also have access to both train stations, several bus lines, taxi ranks, and the local airport has a mandated 22 euro rate (plus 1 euro per bag). Being steps away from the Duomo, anything you need is also close by, restaurants, grocery stores, post office, banks, and all the museums you can absorb. While it is one of the busiest parts of Florence, with the windows closed, night time is still peaceful enough for plenty of rest when you are ready.
The apartment has everything you need to be at home as much as you want, including a kitchen with a full sized refrigerator/freezer, stove, dishwasher, and we did regular loads of laundry. Being close to the Duomo, it does get busy around there but you get used to the rhythms and we even got lucky enough to be there during a major marathon that started and ended steps away from the front door.

Charming Centrally located apartment
We were a party of 5 of different ages. Apartment was very spacious, clean and reasonably well equipped with friendly, accommodating owners. Centrally located for many of the attractions and very comfortable to return to after a day's sightseeing and we enjoyed just hanging out here. There are stairs all the way up to the top floor as well as a lift after the first flight which is great for suitcases etc. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to Florence.
