About this house rental
Located in South Padre Island, this charming house for $333 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Kayaks, 8x8 hot tub and beach toys all included with the price of the rental. Come enjoy kayaking in the bay, the use of our private dock for fishing and water sports, or just relax in the 8x8 hot tub while enjoying the view of your private waterfront. Catch the fireworks over the Gulf from our upper deck and see the pelicans put on a show as they dive for their daily meal. Occasionally you will be lucky to spot a dolphin off our back deck! FYI- we DO NOT RENT rent to spring breakers or anyone under the age of 25 . ASK ABOUT WINTER TEXAN RATES The Blue Dahlia Townhome is a beautifully decorated home with a waterfront view. It is located on the bay side of the island, on the fingers with access to the bay. One of the few on the island with a private dock/boat slip. We also have special monthly rates for Winter Texans. This Townhome is for those wanting the feel of a home with all the amenities. Enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail from the expansive upper deck which also offers wonderful views of the water and the wildlife that fish our waters. Watch the Friday & Saturday evening fireworks right from your own private deck. Prepare meals in your townhome's fully equipped kitchen upstairs or use the fully equipped outdoor kitchen downstairs to prepare your catch of the day. Fish off your private dock 24/7 or dock your boat, kayaks, jet ski’s and walk right up to the townhome. Everything you need to be as comfortable as possible during your stay is here. Accommodations include: a queen size bed in the Master and 2 twins in the 2nd bedroom with a trundle as well. Downstairs is a set of bunk beds. The townhome features a fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops throughout with all new appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked with dinnerware, glassware, coffee maker, Keurig , blender, toaster, mixing bowls, pitchers, cooking utensils, Crock Pot and pots & pans. The Townhome has wi-fi, plus 4 flat screen tv's and a washer & dryer on site. The living room has a smart TV while the 2 bedrooms have a Roku. In the bedroom downstairs is a smart TV. Local TV can be found on the Spectrum app on each TV. On the bottom floor you will find a mini-fridge, gas grill, a wood burning BBQ pit for outdoor cooking and plenty of dining area. If you are a boat owner, this is the Townhome for you with access to your own private dock/boat slip as well as storage space for your trailer. One of the few on the island. Great for the avid fisherman, outdoor sportsman or the entire family. The property is located on a quiet, tranquil street with the main living quarters on the 2nd floor. (There is no elevator) The property is registered with the city of South Padre Island permit number : #2023-0487. We do not rent to spring breakers or to anyone under the age of 25. The rental contract is located on the VRBO system. You will be asked to review, sign and date within 24 hours along with a copy of your driver's license. Just an FYI- we are no longer requiring our Guest to pay an upfront damage deposit for their booking. All guest will still remain responsible for any claims that will need to be made if any damage to the property is reported.

We loved this property. The decor is cute and the deck and lower level kitchen space was awesome. Our son caught a lot of little fish of the pier. Owner was very responsive and went out of her way to return items we left! The location was perfect, easy walk to the beach and a lovely bay view.

Me and my family really enjoy our stay at the blue dahlia, from the cozy rooms to the relaxing hot tub, location is great! Quiet neighborhood and the property is well kept, love the decor! There’s kayaks and tons of toys and life jackets, we enjoy the kayaks and Our kids enjoy their room with the led lights, husband enjoy grilling in the open kitchen downstairs and fishing right behind your backyard. If we come again we definitely will be back to the blue dahlia! Thank you

This condo is amazing! It has all the amenities one could ask for, making it feel like home. The condo is exceptionally comfortable, and we appreciated the charming decor. It easily accommodated my family of 7. We enjoyed fishing on the dock, and the kids had a great time catching fish. I highly recommend this stay to anyone interested in visiting the beach. It's only a 5-minute drive to the public beach, yet it's situated right on the water with a boat dock and bay. We're definitely planning to come back again!

My family and I loved the property. It was clean very well decorated, made it feel like home. The best things, I really liked was the outdoor cooking station. I'm one that loves to grill so this made the evenings fun for me. There were lots of things to do near by, but just hanging out and sitting in the hot tub and fishing off the dock were some of the best things we did. We made great memories. Last thing the property manager was on point. Gave us the heads up on the storm that was coming in and gave us suggestions on things to do if it kept us away from the beach and answered any questions we had quickly. However the place had games, so while it rained we sat and played games, it was great to have the family sit together and laugh and have fun. I definitely recommend this property to anyone.

This section of the townhome was great! The majority of the living area is upstairs. It is well kept and it was great for our weekend. Upstairs has been redone and is really nice. The area out back was FANTASTIC!!! The best part for us was the fact it had a boat slip. It has great amenities like an outside kitchen and hot tub (probably needs to be drained and cleaned (normal) but still well kept and so relaxing), kayaks, and beach stuff. We would definitely rent here again. You can watch Clayton’s fireworks from the deck out back. We had a wonderful time!! Thank you!!!

A++ rating! The whole family could not stop talking about how much they loved the house and the location. From the moment we stepped through the door, it was as comfortable as home. All the amenities were great. I went kayaking for the first time, and loved it. With a family of six we were able to mostly eat at "home" and go out and enjoy the island, for example, horses back riding. We have already made plans to stay there again in the spring.

This was our 2nd stay here. We love the location. The kids take the kayaks out in the bay. Parking in front of the house is a big plus. My family enjoyed meals outside and then ended every evening in the hot tub.

We take a trip every year to the island and the Blue Dahlia is the absolute best place to stay. The property is gorgeous, super clean, and has everything you need. We loved everything from fishing off the dock and grilling out. To just relaxing and watching calmness of the bay. Hats off to the owner for making this stay so amazing!! If were going to South Padre Island this will always be my favorite place to stay.

Dock fishing
Checking was very easy. The place was perfect for our family of six. My kids loved kayaking in the bay and two were included. The beach chairs and wagon were a great bonus for the sandy beach. The kids caught a few fish and hermit crabs in the bay. The spa was a great way to end an adventurous day. The spa was cloud one morning, they came an add some chemicals within a few hours of my call. The kitchen was well stock and we loved eating out on the patio. The queen mattress was to soft for us, we kept rolling to the center. My family and I had a great time. This unit is on our list for a return visit.

This is a fisherman's dream! Its like your mom let you borrow the house but your little brother was there 1st so you have everything you need just buy groceries. Look in all cabinets before going to store make your list then look again it really has everything i needed there. The sunsets and sunrises are absolutely breathtaking. So quiet and peaceful but the fish are trained with music so play your music and birds and fish will be at your boat. Don't feed the birds ever and anywhere lol trust me lol. I will be back and plan to rent both sides and bring our grand kids! Its really really the only option i will use from now on being able to cook for my family was the best!! Blue dahlia yall!

Enjoyed our stay
Home is exactly as pictured. The owner & property manager answered all our questions quickly and were so nice to work with. We especially enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and cooked all our meals on the awesome Blackstone grill except two during our 4 night stay. Beach was only a couple blocks away and an easy walk with the chairs & cart provided in the unit. Would stay again when visiting SPI.

Excellent home away from home
Wonderful stay, we didn’t want to leave! The house was very clean and location couldn’t be beat. The hot tub was an awesome perk and we ate outside on the back downstairs patio each night enjoying the breeze. We were worried the bed would be too firm but it was comfortable and the blackout curtains caused lazy mornings. We would definitely stay here again on another trip down to South Padre.

The Best of Beach and Bay
Amazing property with all the amenities of home! The property is fabulous and well maintained did I mention the hot tub overlooking the bay after a day of fishing and the beach it was perfect end to a beautiful day. Outdoor kitchen is a plus, kayaks and bikes! We plan on coming back for future fishing since we can dock our boat on private boat slip which was convenient! Property owner Debbie Garza was on point with communication and available as well as Butch Gomez if needed. You won’t be disappointed with the Blue Dahlia we will be back❤️

We loved that we were right on the water on the bay side of the island. My son and I took the kayaks out every morning. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the dishes and cookware to be able to cook our own meals. Soaking in the hot tub every evening was the icing on the cake!

Great little home on the water
Arrived on Saturday afternoon and met with Butch who was extremely helpful and stayed and answered all my questions. Have tips on fishing spots and also responded quickly by text when I had a question. There were a few minor issues that came up but Deborah and Sam were great and addressed those issues quickly and without question. The house is very cozy and we will be renting again when we come back down. If you are looking for a great spot to stay for the week this is the place and you will not regret it one bit. Special thanks to Sam and Deborah for letting us stay there and also being nothing but kind and extremely helpful. Great folks.
