Xlnt location; very clean; great bed and bath; lovely property. Although we weren’t sent checkin/access info, we did finally get it once we had arrived… we would stay here again.

We've been coming to SB for many, many years. Kids in college, married, grandchildren....you get the picture. Just when we were thinking maybe going back to staying in hotels, we found this place. It's so cool you don't really want too many people to know about it, but this is me, sharing good karma with you 'cause this place is an absolute find. Enjoy!

Close to the heart of SB. A great central location for exploring.

We could not be happier with the location. So
close to the wharf, beaches, State street and great restaurants. The place has everything you can ask for and everything you need. The bathroom reminded us of our bathroom at the Four Seasons in Cairo, Egypt, in miniature.

The units are wonderfully maintained. They are in a very nice location. Looking out of the window, you can only see green trees. And yet it is within walking distance of a nearby supermarket, Mexican restaurants and a 7/11. If you walk about one block east on Yanoli, you reach train station and downtown.
There were two problems. The TV controls are difficult to use with no written instructions.
The other issue is that the coffee maker in the kitchen is the type with the small pods that only makes Espresso type coffees not Keurig and for coffee addicts it was a difficult day until we found the drip coffee maker hidden in a closet.
One other issue, if you come here at night, you may miss the entrance. Never figured out how to get to our unit from the Bath Street Entrance. However, the entrances on Yanoli work fine. There should be clearer instruction on that.
Overall ratings. Excellent place. We'd hope to come back again to the same place and hopefully the same unit and will bring our own coffee maker with us!

Very nice apartment in charming updated older building. Easy walking distance to the beach and lower State Street. Great kitchen and luxurious bathroom. Reasonably quiet, given the location. Private reserved off-street parking was very convenient. Landscaping and balcony were nice. Just a few minor problems: very noticeable sound when toilet flushed in unit above us, clothes dryer didn't work properly (may have been fixed since then), and the couch has a faint musty smell. And a tip: unit can get very hot during the day, and there's no air conditioning (which is not unusual for Santa Barbara). Keeping the curtains and blinds closed when the sun was on the windows helped a lot.

Condo was just as described, short walk to the beach and restaurants. Host provided everything you might need from towels and toiletries to espresso and wine! Beautifully furnished living space felt very homey and not at all like a generic rental property, everything felt fresh and clean. Neighborhood was quiet and felt safe walking back late at night and sitting on the patio. The private parking was a little tight if you have a large vehicle but still a huge bonus. Highlight of the trip though… that bathroom! I felt like a king with the dual head glass shower, high ceilings, giant mirrors!
10/10 Would recommend to everyone!

Owner sent very detailed check in instructions. Off street parking was really appreciated. Location is good with a short walk to the beach. We were very pleased.

Really nice property and well anointed. The unit was on the bottom floor - so easy access and a little noise from running water upstairs - but minor compared to the nice bedding and large bathroom complete with jacuzzi tub, dual head shower, and plenty of counter/storage space. Minor issue with mirror lights that wouldn't stay lit (we used a band-sid to fix it!).

Overall it is nice and clean apartment. However there are privacy and noise issues becuase it is on the 1st level with balcony, bedroom window and kitchen balcony door looking at the parking at the back of the building. People are walking there very often - some of them building residents parking there and others are cleaners cleaning apartments. The building security gate is just next to the apartment wall under the living room window and when it is closing after people enter/exit there is a very strong sound when the gate hits the post. There are blinds on windows for privacy but if they are closed for privacy then you need to use lights inside. Changing blinds to sheer curtains or more transparent blinds will help. Also something should be done to the building security gate so that it is closing without much noise.

Luv'd this property, a litte frustrated with finding room, but once found all was well...
My 1 issue was the heating of bed room, heater in room is inoperable and we had to wait for living room to heat up by fireplace before we could get comfortable, shower and tub are wonderful...
Thank you again..!!!

The location of the property is great. It's a short walk to the beach. Lovely bathroom. Very small, but adequate bedroom. Comfortable living area and well-supplied kitchen. Nice to have a designated parking space. Only disappointment was that the balcony overlooked the driveway and parking lot for most of the view. But, it was too cold to enjoy outside dining, so quite minor in the overall experience, which was very positive. Would book again.

The property is beautiful and with walking distance to so much. Perfect vacation.

We enjoyed our stay. The unit is very clean and comfortable. It is close to all the major scenic spots. The owner provided high quality plates, silverware, pots and pans and all kinds of wine glasses. Oh and a bottle of wine. Really we can't find anything bad to say. It was a great stay. We highly recommend it.

This condo will be on our list of returns. We were very comfortable and felt more like a home environment than a hotel/vacation condo. Great location to where we like to be, condo was very nicely furnished.

Very nice unit, comfortable bed with luxury linens and very well stocked. Only thing missing was a toaster. Parking was nice and close to unit. Short walk to town and the beach. Would definatly recommend.

We were given clear instructions and a property manager was available for any needs. Our unit was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described. It was also strategically located. All the shops and restaurants we wanted to visit were within walking distance. We had good sleep here, as it's a quiet neighborhood and there sufficient soundproofing so we didn't hear our upstairs neighbors at all.

This lovely unit had everything we were looking for: privacy, off-street parking, and a wonderfully comfortable king bed! The apartment was sparkling clean, with an ideal location - an easy walk down to ocean-front Cabrillo Blvd. with its access to restaurants, the breakwater, and Stearns Wharf. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The couch and the rug in front of the couch are filthy and they both smell very, very bad!!!! No air conditioning even though it can and did get very hot and humid in Santa Barbara during our stay.

Perfect location, walking distance to SO MUCH. Quiet street. Lovely apartment with everything we needed and more!!

The accomodations were wonderful. Great Bed well appointed Kitched and lovely bathroom. The negative is that they advertize it as a "secret getaway". It is far from secret as it is located on a corner of the building and the "balcony" view is essentially the parking lot and the entryway to buidling from the parking lot. Needless to say, there was no privacy at all on the Balcony. If you are looking for something private with an outside space, this is not it.
