About this condo rental
Nestled in Fraser, this attractive condo for $238 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. This beautifully upgraded 2 bed 2 bath condo overlooks Hideaway Park and downtown Winter Park. Trailhead Lodge is located in the hottest spot in town within walking distance to all the downtown shops, restaurants, Hideaway Park (concerts), sledding hill and the Visitor Center- it’s in the heart of Winter Park! Upon entry of this second floor unit (has elevator access), you’ll find a large closet to store you luggage and winter coats. The first bedroom is to your left with a queen over queen bunkbeds. A full bathroom is located right across the hall. Further in you’ll find yourself in an open, modern kitchen and living room area. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you’ll need to make an elaborate meal and all stainless steel appliances. The island has bar seating for two, but the beautiful dining table can seat six. The private balcony is great for enjoying summer concerts or just a peaceful mountain moment. The living room has a gas fireplace and large windows to let in natural light. Off the living area is the primary bedroom which has a king size bed and attached bath with large glass shower. Each bedroom has a portable AC unit to cool things off in the summer. This property uses the Triple Sheet Method where we use two sheets to encase the comforter. This sheet-made duvet cover gets washed between each and every guest to provide an extra clean sleeping experience. This complex has one of the only outdoor year-round heated swimming pools. Clubhouse with pool room, kitchen, workout room and fire pit are included in the amenities. Free Wi-Fi If you are traveling with family or friends, we have some more units at Trailhead, one of them on the first floor of this building. Email, text or call for more information. We strongly encourage guests traveling to Grand County to keep up with the latest updates regarding fire restrictions in our area. We do not allow any open fire on property. Use of propane BBQ is allowed For larger parties: We also have six other 2 bedroom and a 3 bedroom at Trailhead Lodge! Please note if you are arriving by train, there is no facility on-site for luggage storage. Winter Park Resort is just 4.1 miles away so you can enjoy it with family. The FREE resort shuttle will drop you off right in the middle of the resort base village which includes the lifts for skiing/boarding/mountain biking, snow tubing, hiking, ice skating, shopping, dining, scheduled entertainment, and other attractions including several summer activities. The swimming pool and gym are just 1.1 miles away at the Grand Park Rec Center with multiple swimming pools, a waterslide, full gym with indoor track, huge rock climbing wall, gymnasium, and children's playground. The Foundry is next door to the Rec Center with a bowling alley, movie theater and brick oven pizza bar. Safeway grocery store is 2.6 miles away in the town of Fraser. NO SMOKING or PETS allowed. The condo was the perfect place for us to stay for a last minute ski trip. The condo is in a great location with an awesome view of the park. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare and eat meals. We would stay here again.

This is a nice condo. Well laid out. Plenty of room. Nice location. Easy parking and nice amenities. Only thing renter should be aware of is that the master bath (and to a lesser extent the master bedroom) smells like urine. It seems like maybe an animal was kept in there? We reported it when we checked in. They were very responsive and kind and sent maintenance right away. However, after the air freshener that he sprayed wore off the smell was back again. So I think it is a larger problem.

Condo is nice and well located - right in the town of Winter Park. Could be slightly better stocked (only four spoons?). The dishwasher did not work for our entire stay but the owner graciously sent housekeepers to wash our dirty dishes. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed spending time on the balcony.

The unit was great for our purpose of being in Winter Park, CO. The location was outstanding. I only have 2 negative issues:
1) The code and key entry for entering the property was ridiculous. Towards the end, we finally figured it out--it was too cumbersome.
2) The place was generally clean, however, in the main bedroom, a portion of the room smelled like dog (animal) pee.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. Everything was as shown in the pictures. The condo set-up worked perfect for us. It was clean and had ample space for the my family, 3 teenagers, my husband and myself. Access was easy from the main road and a short drive to the slopes. Great ski vacation.

Clean, Comfortable & Spacious
The unit was nicely furnished, more than enough space for three people, very clean and the kitchen was well equipped with everything one would need. The walls/floors are super thin and noise travels easily, I'd be extra cautious if your sensitive to hearing the neighbors or them hearing you.

This condo was wonderful and mostly met our needs. It was spotless and sparkling clean, had two queen bunk beds in the guest room and a king in the master. Mattresses are great! Plenty of supplies and all the kitchen tools you may need. Two things effected our stay and review of this property: 1. The master had two drawers in an armoire for storage, then they had a large “locker/gun storage” container for hanging the rest of your things. Between these we could not unpack. Also not enough room on the floor for a suitcase. We were looking forward to getting all settled for the week but found it hard to unpack in the master. The main master closet is kept locked. To the owners: I highly recommend this closet remain able to be used by your guests for a MUCH more comfortable stay. The “locker” is not shown in pictures and is large and weird and does not go with the aesthetics of the unit. Tacky. Number 2. The owners below this unit are a PAIN IN THE A**. We had 3 adults and one toddler and NIGHT ONE we got a call from property management complaining about noise at 8:30PM. She stated the owners below us even had been hitting the ceiling to try to quiet us down. Unbelievable. We should have known they were going to be an issue because as you enter the unit, on the wall, there is a sign warning of thin walls and the downstairs neighbors. It seems they complain often enough to warrant a sign in the unit. This unit would be best for older, quiet adults. Only other thing I will say is we had family staying in two other units in this complex and their units were updated and much nicer.

As advertised and seen in photos. Great location for any season. We skied at Mary Jane and it is just a short drive away. Many things within walking distance. Nice touch would be some snacks and drinks available for late arrival guests since the stores all close early. And some boxes of Kleenex! Overall great stay.

Despite my short stay, I want to congratulate the owners for this wonderful apartment. Extremely clean, very spacious and comfortable, new with enough furniture for a great holiday.
