About this house rental
Nestled in Rocky Point, this lovely house for $373 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Playa Romantica --which means Romantic Beach in Spanish-- is the perfect beach getaway. The exterior architecture is gorgeous and features large windows for ocean-viewing. This beachfront home has 2 beachfront bedrooms and 2 baths. One bedroom has a queen bed and at twin with private patio access; the other bedroom has a queen bed and a twin and private patio access. There is a fully equipped kitchen, including coffee maker, blender, microwave, and toaster. The living/dining room has a fireplace (bring own wood or fire logs) and a beautiful view of the water as well as quick access to the beach. Other amenities include a large beachfront patio and furniture, ceiling fans, ceantral A/C, TV Monitor for VCR, (bring own video tapes),Wireless internet (WiFi), outdoor shower, and charcoal barbecue. Owner requests No Smoking Inside and Pets allowed upon approval. Sheets and one set of bath towels are provided. 2-night Minimum during the week; 3-night minimum during weekends in March, April, May, June, October and all Holidays.(Specific Holidays we request 4 minimum nights stay). For 7 nights the owner requests, if it is a weekend, check in must be on Friday or Sunday not Saturday.

This is our second time staying at Playa Romantica. We love the location of the home. It is close to town and the beach is right out of the back door. We will be staying here again!

We were unable to stay at this place due to covid. The host was not flexible at all, and showed very little empathy but unwillingness to reschedule or refund a portion of it. I wish they were more understanding to issues that come up that are outside of the control of the guests.

THE HOST WAS RESPONSIVE AND HELPFUL. THE LOCATION WAS AWAY FROM CITY NOISE AND HUSSLE. NO ONE TOLD US THE WATER IN THE HOME WAS NOT DRINKABLE. THERE WAS NO WAY TO CLEAN THE HOME DUE TO LACK OF CLEANING EQUIPMENT. THE PATIO DID NOT DRAIN WATER DUE TO INACCURATE GRADE SETTING. THERE WAS NO HOSE TO SPRAW SAND OFF THE PATIO. THE INSIDE OF THE HOME WAS NOT CLEAN, OR CLEANED 7 OR 8 DAYS EALIER. THE TV ONLY RECEIVED NETFLIX. DURING THE TROPICAL STORM THE WATER WAS OUT FOR TWO DAYS AS WAS THE ELECTRICITY. THE SCREEN DOORS BLEW OFF IN A MILD WIND. WE RECEIVED NO INSTRUCTION ON HOW THE AC OPERATED.HOWEVER, THE BEACH AND TIDES WERE GREAT--VERY BEAUTIFUL!IF WE STAYED IN LOS CONCHAS AGAIN, WE WOULD STAY IN A DIFFERENT HOME. WE WENT HOME EARLY DUE TO 2 DAYS OF NO WATER OR ELECTRICITY WITH A TEMPERATURE OF 90 DEGREES.

Enjoyed our stay even though there were some small issues, ie. bugs, ran out of water, many lights out, outdoor shower broken, & more. This is a small, economical rental so don’t expect extras (dishwasher, washer/dryer, water toys, nice furniture). Sorry but I would not rent again.

Loved the house, very clean and comfortable. The sand & wind storm storm came and the folks from Oceano Rentals came and “dug” us out with shovels and vacuum. They cleaned the windows and were very prompt at restoring the house for us. I would highly recommend working with Oceano Rentals in the future!

It was as advertised... Playa Romantico! Easy to follow the directions to a location that felt remote and private. The Oceana office was a great help. Would love to come again. Bedrooms on opposite sides of house with bathrooms was a plus. A jug of water would be our only suggestion.

After dealing with Covid and cancer I loved getting away with an old friend. The 2 bedrooms and 2 baths worked perfect. Beds comfy. Plenty of towels and throw blankets. The view out the living room sliders was to die for. Kitchen was stocked to meet our needs. Bring water. Heaters worked fine.
If you are looking for up to date decorating and furniture this isn’t your place. Suggestions would be bigger tv and some comfy decent patio furniture. We both would stay here again as the price and location were perfect.

Beautiful beach house with a split floor plan on the beach. Beds are firm; you'll need to bring beach towels and toys. There was a circuit board failure with the oven and stove had a missing knob, but the folks at Oceana Management were willing to assist with any issues - and we deferred since our visit was short. House was very clean upon arrival and we look forward to returning to the area at another time. We would recommend this house :)

Very comfortable little casita on the water. We love our time here! Except for noisy evening renters in the house next door every time we have stayed here everything is great. Comfortable, well maintained house with beautiful ocean views and easy access to the water for play. Oceano staff are professional, friendly,helpful and prompt with help on any issues we have had. The oven is tricky to use.

Only issues we had was the showers leaked onto bathroom floor. The views are amazing. You are right on the ocean. Great Amenities. You are close to everything, maybe 5 min to old port. I would highly recommend staying here. We will be back for sure!!!

Beach Paradise
We had an amazing stay at this beach paradise! Everything you could possibly need for a nice relaxing vacation is provided for you. House was clean and well stocked. Sitting on the back patio listening to waves in the morning was so tranquil. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Great location without any extras
The property had the perfect location and was the perfect size for 4 adults, I wouldn’t recommend any more than 4 people at this property. It was better in person than in the pictures. We had an amazing time and have stayed in the area dozens of times so knew what to expect.
Pros: two full size bathrooms with super hot water, location was perfect, had enough plates, cups, bath towels. For the stay, kitchen was upgraded, AC in the main living area works amazing!
Cons: no frills (beds are hard, woobley, no beach towels or chairs, no beach toys, patio furniture is almost non existent, no BBQ) none of these were listed but typically provided in a beach house. Basically if you don’t bring it you won’t have it.) the fridge doesn’t seal most of the time when you shut it so our food kept getting warm when the fridge would pop open, bath toilets leaked onto the floor. Typically you can find the cabinet stocked with things like oil, salt, pepper, coffee filters.. none of this was there. It seems every single item is cleaned out when being cleaned. Do not expect shampoo, body wash ect. Again if you don’t bring it they won’t have it.
For the price it wasn’t bad, I would stay again understanding the quirks of the fridge earlier would’ve helped. Also ensuring we bring more beach equipment since not one thing is provided.

This was the 3rd time to rent this property and use Oceano Rentals. As before, a great experience! From check-in to check-out, all was smooth. The difference is the property management company. Staff like Elizabeth, Tony and Jackie...right there in the office to help you! They were all GREAT! Several basic requests were met with "of course"! I highly recommend Oceano Rentals AND this house RIGHT ON THE BEST BEACH!
