Located in Pagosa Springs, this charming condo for $322 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Located in historic downtown Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Enjoy the Loft at the Metropolitan Hotel. Take in the beauty of a 100-year-old building that has been completely renovated and restored. Appreciate the exposed original brick in the kitchen and living room. Beautifully decorated with a skylight and well-equipped, spacious gourmet kitchen with black granite tile. An updated bathroom with slate and a jetted tub and a glass-enclosed shower. It feels like a day spa! Cozy and warm with geothermal heating from the natural mineral Hot Springs. The Loft is located upstairs on the second story. No handicap access. The Loft is located in a building with office space and there is a men's and a woman's restroom that you can use if needed. You can also access the main street if you walk through the building and down the front stairs. **There is a movie theatre that is on the main street and sometimes you can hear the movie from the master bedroom in the Loft. I’ve stayed many air bnb and vrbos in the past and you can usually tell that its a rental facility. This place however really felt like some one lived in it because everything needed was well thought out and placed. Plenty of coffee, plenty of cooking supplies, extra ingredients, modern bathroom with extra extra towels, toilet paper kleenex soap. The owner did not skimp out. Moreover, the beds, pillows, blankets were soooo good in quality. Finally a place with fluffy pillows that didn’t feel like pancakes. The bedding was a high thread count, according to me wife, which is why i felt like I was home and not using motel blankets like at other rentals. The appliances were so new i had to really inspect them closely to see if there was evidence of usage or if we were the first one using them.
Okay, the location is unbeatable if you were in Pagosa Springs for the “city” aspect. Front door dumps you onto Main Street. The hippie springs are literally across the street. It took us 2-3 minutes from bedroom to springs. Surrounded by restaurants and shops. The parks were also across the street. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Pagosa when we come back.
Lastly, the owner was not overbearing. Many air bnb and vrbo owners bombard you with emails and texts before and during your stay. This owner had the invisible touch where one short email with no contact easy check in and check out, no texts or emails to subconsciously remind you that you’re a guest. Loved it

My 3 girlfriends and I shared this 4-bedroom apartment for 3 nights. We were amazed at how well the apartment was equipped -- the Owner was very thoughtful to provide all the utensils, dishes, soaps, towels, coffee, tea, and even different spices! She also clearly provided instructions for using the apartment. The location of the apartment is great -- within walking distance to many attractions including the beautiful River Walk. We loved this place and will come back again.

What a fun quirky little apartment. It was perfect for our party of 7 to hang out and enjoy the town and the ski hill. Easy walk to delicious restaurants, luxurious hotsprings, and good shopping. Parking was adequate and we were able to get up to the ski hill in 30 minutes too. The only drawback was that the beds are all very old and saggy. We all left with stiff backs, but still happy customers.

We stayed for 3 nights and cooked many of our meals at this property. It's located within walking distance (short walk) to the hot springs and downtown area of Pagosa springs. There were 5 of us and everyone had their own bed.

Need to let renter that it is not handicap ready. Having to climb stairs should be noted. It could of been cleaner. The top bedding in one of the rooms was stained or not clean.

Excellent Location
Great location for exploring Pagosa Springs. The property was large and spacious. They have a washer and dryer, along with an upgraded kitchen and bathroom with all accessories available. Plenty of natural light, and room to move around. Will definitely stay here next time. Would recommend the listing utilize professional photos, as the photos posted on the website do not do justice to how nice the property is. Thanks once again!

Pretty freaking rough when you go to Pagosa to ski and it is getting down to 0-5 degrees at night. They have these four tiny space heaters to heat the place and make it smell like something is burning. The floors aren't level in the living room so be prepared to walk funny. Oh, and the place smells like your great aunt's attic that hasn't be opened in 10 years and there was a leak around year 6. We were literally nauseous from the smell. We had booked the place for 3 nights and left after one because it was so bad. I have never ever left a property because I couldn't stand to stay there. We've emailed VRBO 3 times about the property complaint we ended up filing and haven't heard a thing back.

The place is well designed for family members to have their privacy but also be able to hang together in kitchen/living room. Very clean! Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The washer dryer is a plus! And The Loft is downtown near so many great places to explore. We will definitely stay here again!

Great Stay
This was a perfect stay for our family, plenty of rooms so they didn't keep each other up all night. Plenty of kitchen tools, great location. Very quaint old building. Beautiful property in the heart of town
We loved the location most of all, but the loft was roomy and comfortable. The property manager was kind enough to also offer us complimentary hot springs passes due to some constructoin noise on the property, which we really enjoyed. I would certainly use this location again.

It was great to be in town, close to the hot springs, and Riff Raff Brewery, and everything was there in the kitchen, all of us got great sleep each night for the powder turns at Wolf Creek. thanks!

Not what I was expecting
Let me state first that this property is very convenient to downtown Pagosa Springs and the Hot Springs. You can walk there. However, the pictures on the website are misleading. While you can see the BUILDING the apartment is in from the Hot Springs pools, you cannot see the actual apartment windows because the apartment is on the back side of that building. The view from the actual apartment is to an alley. If you are wanting a nice view from your rental, this is not the place. Additionally, expect to have an odor in the apartment. I thought it was from a previous pet that may have stayed there, or the washing machine needed cleaning, but the owner suggested that maybe it was coming from the geothermal heating system. The Hot Springs are close by, after all.
The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and the basic supplies you'll need like foil, coffee, and spices. While the website says there are additional bathrooms in the hallway of the building, be aware that those bathrooms have only toilets and sinks, not showers, and also serve the offices in the building. The only shower and bathtub, while nice, are in the unit's only actual bathroom.
There were five separate beds in 4 bedrooms, but only the master bedroom and the far back bedroom were completely private. One would have to walk through at least one other bedroom to get to their room. Depending on who is staying with you, that could be awkward.
We didn't turn on the TV, so I don't know how that worked.
Overall, I'd say if you are only looking for convenience to downtown in a place that can sleep several people who can wait their turn for the shower, and you don't mind the smell, this would be a good rental. But, if you are wanting a relaxing mountain-lodge type experience where you can curl up with a good book after skiing or hiking, enjoy the view, have private bedrooms, and more than one shower somewhere else would be a better choice.

Absolutely amazing location/amazing owner
We did not intend to stay in this vacation rental. But when we were screwed over by another property owner who double booked us, Jacque responded to our online inquiry within the hour and came to our rescue. She was so incredibly accommodating when we were in a crunch and did not take advantage of how desperate we were.
The loft is located within crawling distance of the San Juan River. At night, we crossed the street, walked down some rocks, and hopped into the pools of hot spring water that lay right along the river. It was incredible.
The bathroom was the most impressive feature of the loft, with a huge walk in shower and massive jacuzzi tub. There were public restrooms available as well in the building, which was a huge plus.
I adored the kitchen amenities and the urban feel of the apartment with exposed brick. It was more than we could have ever hoped for, especially in the situation in which we found ourselves.

Great Place in Pagosa!
Our stay at the loft was incredible! There was plenty of space for 5 adults and a pair of 1 year old twins. The bedroom situation ended up great, because the kids were able to be in a room that was far away from the living room and TV noise. The kitchen was well equipped and a great place to cook. You also can't beat the location, right downtown! We did have some noise from the movie theater next door, but the movies were over by 10pm so this wasn't an issue when we were going to sleep. The owners were very easy to contact and helpful. I would recommend this rental to anyone! We will definitely try and stay here on our next trip to Pagosa Springs and Wolf Creek.

The Loft
The Loft in Pagosa Spring, CO is a great little find off of Main Street. The size of the loft gives you lots of space for a larger family or group of people. You are across the street from the Hot Springs and close to Wolf Creek Ski area. If you are an outdoors person there are a lot of things you can do in the area.

The Loft Continues to be the Best Deal --Period!
Once we discovered the Loft in 2010 we have not considered staying any place else. This trip ski trip makes our fifth stay and it was as good this time as it was the first; which is to say GREAT!! We love the location, especially after discovering Overlook Hot Springs Spa just 27 steps out the front door to the right. With four separate sleeping areas, a large living room and kitchen you are not crowded and you never get the "just another condo feel", but rather a cozy "at home" feeling. Having one bathroom is never a problem for us since we always have an after ski soak at the spa which provides shower facilities. The Kitchen is large and well equipped. This is a huge plus for us since we eat breakfast and dinner there and pack our lunches to take to the slopes. I almost forgot, it has a washer and dryer which helps if needed. It is upstairs, which is not a negative, just a fact. If I had to come up with anything negative to say it would be that sometimes you do get some light noise from the theater next door. It was Wolf Creek's 75th Anniversary on Sat. and for the 3 days we were there it was spring skiing. Mild wind and temp. in the mid 30's, which translated into getting hot. (We even opened the windows at the Loft during the evening until bedtime!) Even though the ski area was 50" below its normal snowfall for the year, all lifts and runs were open. Wolf Creek did a great job of keeping the blue slopes groomed so there were no visible obstacles to worry about. And of course NO LIFT LINES. We plan on being back next year.

Perfect Pagosa Location!!!!
We really enjoyed our stay!! The location was excellent. We were able to walk to The Springs, resturants, shops, and Pagosa Outdoors (where we tubed down the river). The Loft was very roomy, clean, and the kitchen was very well stocked. We will be back for sure!!!

Perfect!
This was our family's 6th annual spring break trip to pagosa and the absolute best place we've stayed so far! It's very clean and modern. The fully stocked kitchen was impressive. We popped popcorn and watched movies on the huge flatscreen in the cozy living room after a long day on the mountain. The laundry room was a huge perk; next time I'll pack lighter. Comfy and spacious rooms and the bathroom...WOW! Also, the location is so private yet, walking distance to the area attractions. Loved it! Note: there is a flight of stairs at the only entrance, keep that in mind if you have trouble with stairs.
