Room condition was subpar. Not what I expected a resort to be.

Rooms are way outdated, food is set up like a high school cafeteria with ehh food. Public washing machine had a half dozen fake finger nails inside along with unkown items. The pools are not it. The lazy river is the only positive thing. The parking garage was covered is trash and dirty diapers. Would not recommend.

We LOVE CabanaBay. Our only 2 complaints
1) the rough play going on in the lazy river, had my ankle twisted because of kids horseplaying and no lifeguard stopped them. The lazy river should NOT be for horseplay. 2) this is a FAMILY resort, and having women show their butt cheeks and butt crack is very inappropriate. These types of swim suits need to be limited to an adult only pool.

Perfect for families everything you need in house and well kept property

I always enjoy Cabana Bay. It is my favorite hotel in Orlando. This time I stayed in the Beachside tower with a view of Volcano Bay.

Loews should take their name off this hotel. Our room was in very poor condition. Ceiling falling through, rip couch, bathroom curtain barely holding together and faucet in tub hanging on my a thread. And here’s the BIG kicker of it all… I was charged 3 times the amount of our stay and still after a week I’m not refunded nor released from these extra charges. Stay somewhere else

The resort was beautiful. When I went to the room I was expecting the full window volcano view but it was the two side windows with a wall in the middle. I didn’t know there was two different volcano view. We were station in The Americana building last rooms which made it easy access to both volcano bay entrance and hotel water park. We had to walk a lot to get to the resort main entrance, which is expected due to the fact that is a huge hotel.
I feel this resort even though it was good it had cosmetic issues like messed up paint in the hallway, no water in the vending machines close to our room so we had to pay $4.50 per water bottle at Starbucks. Our hotel room also had scratch painting and old stained decorative pillows. This hotel needs some love when it comes to the resort rooms. I also was expecting a standing shower but we got a shower/bathtub combo.
I recommend that Universal update this resort. Maybe some other colors and new things. I know the feel is old times which is awesome but the rooms and hotels deserve to be kept in excellent condition.

Overall trip was great. We were upgraded from our original room which was ok. Would have preferred a ground level but didn’t effect my trip at all. View was great of Volcano bay

Everything was great I will definitely be back! We stayed just for 1 night. That said the In Room Coffee could have been better quality. The bathroom shower water pressure wasn't so great. And the brownie in the hot fudge sunday from the ice cream shop was a bit to solid and wasn't moist and chewy. But overall it was a great place and like I said I look forward to coming back. I'll stay longer next time.

My son is 12 and he absolutely loved it here. Staff was so helpful and friendly. Shuttles to parks were easy to navigate and the water slide and lazy river were so much fun! You do have to pay to rent a tube so if you have one at home bring it!

Hotel has cute theme and plenty of room at pool. Lots of fast food type food choices. No sit down restaurant. Decor starting to look a little shabby in room. Checkout at 11 but maid ENTERED our room at 10:45. 😳

About 30 minutes after we checked in the front desk texted to make sure we were having a great experience. We were! All hotel staff was kind and helpful. We couldn’t find our building and a staff member took us all the way to our building. The view was amazing! The room was beautiful! Already planning another trip back soon.

Huge hotel, felt like resort. Has everything you could dream of. Great for family trip. Bowling gets filled up quickly on weekends. For lazy river bring tub or buy one. Smores is fun to roast by the fire. Movie viewing is setup right outside of gym, which is very helpful. Bus shuttle runs to city walk every 10-15 min.

Very convenient for days at Universal. Rooms were spacious and clean. Lots to do within the hotel for kids and adults.

Really enjoyed our stay. Hotel location is perfect for a Universal trip especially early park admission and being right beside volcano bay. Hotel was very clean and service was great.
Only small faults for me beds i found to be a little firm (personal preference) but shower pressure was awful.

Plumbing issues with no explanation, I feel there should have been a reduced rate for the inconvenience.

There was no microwave in the room. The rug by elevator was very dirty and the shower water pressure was very poor and water handle was broke.

We love all things Mid Century Modern, so the theme and decor of the facility were definitely on point! Lots of fun!

Everything was wonderful and there were many amenties at the resort. The only two things I would have any complaints about are the fact that we didn't know prior that the pool by our room was under construction (maybe that's why the stay was pretty cheap!) And the comfort of the mattresses. My 9 year old slept like a baby. I, however, tossed and turned all night and woke up woth a sore back like the old person I am. Overall, we would definitely still gp back!

It quite pricey and the carpets where a bit dirty the room was outdated and not as clean.

Upon arrival, staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby really impressed us with the cool retri vibe. Check in was relatively fast and we got a room in the main building near the elevator, which we found out is perfect for us. The room was clean and comfy. We did not hear much foot traffic and we were able to go downstairs right near the food court. Food choices were plenty and good too. All in all, we had a great time. So much in fact that we have another trip planned in Feb!

At $200 plus per night you would expect a little better quality. Rooms were clean but a little dated. Parking lot is open and outside. No security is every seen patrolling property which is unfortunate. Makes you feel unsafe. The gate to enter and leave the property is annoying and doesn't work half the time. You have to eventually press the button to talk to someone and they just open the gate automatically I am assuming because they know it is broker but also leads me to believe the parking lot is unsafe if they are just opening the gates without verifying. Not sure I would stay here again. The location is excellent for Universay and especially Volcano Bay

We were not able to swim since it was only fifty degrees. But the arcade was fun and the transportation was good to the parks. Would definitely stay again.
