Situated in Orange Beach, this attractive house for $771 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Summer Salt 4 West is a luxurious duplex added to the Summer Salt Family of Properties in Orange Beach AL. Bring your family friends or group to experience the privacy and space of a 4 bedroom 3.5 bath gulf view retreat. Summer Salt 4 West sleeps 16. It shares a private pool that is 800 sq ft with a 2222 sq ft pool deck with the other side of the duplex and 2 houses. Guests can easily access the beach by using the boardwalk to the east of the duplex or from the boardwalk just off the shared pool deck. The main and second levels both have a gulf view balcony the width of the unit. You can sit and gaze out at the waves and emerald green waters of the gulf from either balcony. You can even enjoy meals at the picnic table located on the first level balcony. The main level boosts light cool beach colors that instantly relax and set the mood for your vacation stay. The cool and calm beach inspired decor and natural wood elements flow throughout the house. The well-appointed style and open floor plan of the main level includes the living kitchen and dining areas so your group can easily socialize. You will find a spacious living room with a 50-inch HDTV complete with a queen sleeper sofa another full sofa and 2 oversized comfortable chairs with ottomans. Adjacent is the enormous open kitchen with stainless steel appliances granite counter tops free standing ice maker and a counter height seating for 8. The dining area has a large table that seats 8 comfortably and is perfect for family meals and catching up on the day's activities. For your convenience a half bath is also located on the main level. All bedrooms are located on the second level and the full width balcony can be accessed through the hall making it easy for all guests to enjoy the gulf view. A banister separates the two sides of the duplex. The master suite faces the Gulf and offers a beautiful view of the white sandy beaches. Guests staying in the Master Suite will have a king bed private bath flat screen TV and Blu-Ray player. Next you have the bunk room where you will find 8 built in traditional twin size bunk beds. The bunk room comes with a flat screen TV and Blu-Ray to keep the children entertained. Just across the hall from the bunk room is a full size bathroom. The final two bedrooms also come equipped with TVs and Blu-Ray players where guests can retreat to their private space and relax. One has a King bed and the other has a Queen and they share a Jack and Jill bathroom. The full size washer and dryer are located in the hall on the second level. Summer Salt 4 West has free WIFI throughout. The bedding is: 2 King beds 1 Queen 8 built in twin beds - bunk style (standard 75" length) and a queen sleeper sofa. The living room and all 4 bedrooms have Flat Screen TVs with Blu-Ray. Covered parking is available under the duplex (4 vehicles under cover). Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Fort Morgan only have a few internet providers to choose from. It is common for this area to experience unreliable internet access, especially Wi-Fi, at times. We cannot guarantee the quality or availability to the networks provided. This property was perfect for our family. We loved the location and convenience to restaurants and shopping. We had an issue with one of the refrigerators and someone was sent over promptly and had it cooling quickly. We will definitely stay here again.

We love #4 at Sea Salt West, super private beach access! House had plenty of room and sleeping for our party, easy to access and get into unit with door code. The bunk room was a plus with all the boys in party. Only suggestion and it’s a teeny one is towel hooks are needed. In every room and bathroom door. Loved our stay and plan to return one day!

Summer Salt West 4 was a beautiful home and perfect for our family get together, and location was great. We had a great time at the beach and local restaurants. Plenty of room in the house for our family.
However, the check-in process was horrible. We were offered a chance to book the night before our original check in date as the property was vacant. We declined but were advised that we could likely check in early the next day since nobody was in the unit the night before. We arrived while an attendant was in the house, checking over things, and she said she'd be about 15 minutes then we would get notification of the key code to get in. This was around 1 PM.
We decided to go to lunch, came back and checked in with the rental mgmt to ask about the code. We were told there was a "work order" that they were waiting for that to be taken care of. So we decided to wait outside the property, hoping to get in before 5 PM. I called again and was told, any time now, yet we hadn't seen anyone come to the property for maintenance.
At 4:55 PM a maintenance guy comes and see's us waiting, 6 adults and 3 babies under 2 .... he can't get in either, he doesn't have the code and he wasn't sure of why he was there anyway. We thought it could've been the lock, because it was a makeshift padlock and hasp. The key to open the padlock would be in a device you need a code for. He had to call the office and ask for the code and to please let us in, we'd been waiting 4 hours. He got the code, we went in and he still didn't know why he was there, he didn't know what the work order was for.
We weren't happy with the lock situation, eventually we were told there was a part on order for a year to fix the door. If I were the owner of this property, I would've just replaced the door. Guests expect the home to be safe, if we locked the door from the outside and thought everyone was out of the house, someone could accidentally be locked in without knowing it. A safety concern for sure.
The other issues we had with the dryer and coffee pot were remedied within a few hours, which we were thankful for. Housekeeping was good; however, the floors were filthy. Everyone had to wash their feet by the end of the evening.

Although we thought the beach and pool was directly in front of our house, we had an amazing time at both. The house was very open and tons of space for our littles to run, we had 5 adults and 10 kids ranging from 1 to 18.

A Great Family Place on the Beach
We had an amazing time! The property was so clean and looked brand new. We loved having the living space down and the bedrooms up. The five grandsons really enjoyed the bunk room. We were just a few steps from the pool and the ocean was not much farther. It was like having our own beach! Also loved that we had beach chairs and umbrellas included with our property. It was so easy to have parking underneath and a place to keep our beach stuff. The oldest grandson (age 9) asked if we could stay here next year! The only suggestions would be to have some chairs on the second balcony instead of a picnic table and we would have loved to have had an electric broom to sweep up each day. Would definitely recommend this property.
