We had a wonderful time! Loved the city and the location of this condo! One block from Hop on Hop off bus which we used to get around easily. Condo was lovely!! Many little extras!
Only recommendation would be to add safety bars in tub and shower. Slippery for us seniors.

The apartment was perfect and close to so many things to do. Highly recommend this place. The owner is very sweet and helpful as well.

Loved the place and the proximity to things. Everything is within walking distance. The only thing I didn’t realize is that we would be on a second floor going up the small stairs. That was a little hard to lug the luggage up and down.

Great location. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and sights. I was originally concerned about parking but never had an issue. IWas able to park upfront. I did purchase 3/2 all day parking pass. This was a huge help.

The condo was beautiful--love the historic architecture, the layout, and the location. The kitchen was well-stocked and great for cooking. The beds were very comfortable. We could walk virtually everywhere--and loved getting to know the city so intimately. We loved sitting outside to read. The condo helped us fall in love with Savannah.
A couple of suggestions--having pillow cases for the extra pillows and more towels would have helped a lot. Also, because the parking in front of the condo is paid, we followed the recommendations to use some of the free parking nearby. But, it felt odd to take up parking at the Methodist church or in front of others' buildings. Having some sort of more "legitimate" parking would have been more comfortable. I guess we could just have paid the on-street parking--so maybe that's on us. It was just kind of expensive for a week.

What an amazing property to spend some of your days. Fantastic location, could walk to most things. Great charm and history.

This was a beautiful, historic location in Savannah in close walking distance to Forsyth Park, Riverside and a number of historic locations. The place is located on the second floor with steep stairs so be forewarned if you are older or have any physical disabilities. Historic Savannah in general has quite a few uneven cobblestones to the point where my group had a running joke related to how many times we’ve tripped.
Overall the place was spacious and had beautiful brick walls and ornate furniture. I will say that there’s really only enough space for 4 people as the bed on the pull out couch was very thin and you could feel every bump in the metal. There were also no spare pillow cases and the extra pillows had stains on them. Fortunately we brought an air mattress in case the bed was uncomfortable which worked out for the best. On the flip side, my friends said the bed in the master was the best they’ve ever slept on and want to know what brand it is. We did notice that the floors were dirty, so I’m not sure how well cleaned it was, but we were walking around a lot. They could use some laundry detergent so guests can make use of but they do have a Kroger in close walking distance for any groceries.
Overall the trip was wonderful and the main focus is the sights so it was a great place to stay when you want to fully experience what it would have been like in old Savannah.

Just a lovely house and decor. The cleaning company needs to be replaced. Did not have some of the necessary supplies, and some areas were not cleaned.
It would have been a perfect stay otherwise.

We all pay a cleaning fee, so the rentals should be clean right? The Master bathroom was gross: soap scum on the outside of the cabinets and every drawer had ick inside. The sample shampoo was only half full, no soap in the shower. I didn't mind that I had to empty the dishwasher when I got there, but it's nicer when there is no work to do. Some coffee cups in the cabinet were not clean. There was a large stain on the fitted sheet in the master bedroom ~ the sheets were clean, but ick.
The shower in the Master Bath has a broken door and it leaks, so we had mop up the floorevery time and do a load of towels every day...but the condo did not supply any laundry soap even though we were asked to run the wash before we left.
It was a charming place, in a great location. We weren't allowed to use the beautiful back porch, so that was disappointing.
Even though we had a great time in Savannah and visit often, I would not stay in this unit again.

Location is excellent for walking around the historic district. Condo is absolutely charming. Furniture is lovey.
A couple of small fuses would be perfect. The bathroom doors don’t lock. The shower door need to be fixed. Need more towels and better fitting sheets. It’s a beautiful building.

When looking for a VRBO, you need a great location, an a clean unit! This place has it all! We did not have a car, so walked to everything for our 4 day stay! So easy to get from Forsyth Park (a block away) to the River Walk area and every historic site and City Park in between! The location is superb! The unit was very clean upon arrival. The primary bedroom with attached bath is very comfortable. We did not cook in the unit but the kitchen was stocked. It is an older building so you can hear some noise from the units above and below however it’s very minimal and quiet hours were observed. Would definitely stay again if we come back to Savannah!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Perfect location close to Forsyth Park and walkable to many restaurants and shops. The bed was very comfortable and we had no problems finding a nearby parking spot. Highly recommend

Savannah is my favorite place to visit and this trip did not disappoint! The apartment was very pretty, clean and the location was perfect. Plenty of room for 4 adults. Easy walk to shopping and restaurants. The neighborhood feels very safe and quiet. The beds were comfortable. Street parking was never an issue. Would definitely stay here again! A couple of small suggestions: could use a few dish towels in the kitchen - there are none; maybe some extra bath towels as we only had 1 per person for our stay; there were extra pillows in the closets but no pillowcases. Very minor details to an otherwise perfect stay. We absolutely loved it!

Location was great. If you don't mind a bit of a walk to the river, then you don't need a car at all. Free parking was easy to find around the corner. Place was clean and had some good spaces to relax. Minor drawbacks: the second bedroom is kind of small, so managing luggage etc. required some flexibility. You are not allowed to use the back deck - which is a shame because sitting outside in Savannah in April is a treat.
Had a great time and this was a great home base for our adventures.

We loved this place. It’s exactly as described: spacious, comfortable, lovely, well located, easy access…. We were 4 adults- my husband, son, daughter in law, and me. Plenty of room to be together and private bedrooms/bathrooms. Street parking was incredibly easy. The neighborhood (and all of downtown Savannah) is beautiful. We would definitely come back.

There was black mold on the master bathroom ceiling and I have pictures to show! The owner claims she didn't know about our pets but tell me where in the booking process it ask that? I assume they would know since I went out of my way to book a place that accepts pets! She harassed us about this by approaching us and threatening to call the police several times! We booked the place to celebrate my MIlitary POLICE sons 21st birthday before he gets deployed and the owner totally ruined this by threatening in person and by text several times to call the police ( in which we are police as well and know the laws!!) Do not rent this condo unless you want to sit in the condo and read a book!!! And beware the owner lives within earshot so don't celebrate anything or she will harrass you too!! Oh and we left a day early due to mold and harrassment!!!!

This property is conveniently located in the historic district. Comfortable and charming condo; a great place to see such a charming city.

Would highly recommend this unit. We stayed four days, with no car, and had no issues getting to everything by foot. Grocery store, historic sights, restaurants, all within walking distance. We did take the free bus one time, which has a stop very close to this location. Unit was very clean in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Did not feel unsafe walking from downtown to this unit in the evening. There is a homeless population that hang out in some of the squares, but never bothered us.

The place was very spacious, clean!! We were minutes from Forsyth Park, and everything was in walking distance!! River street a must see, and a straight shot down Drayton or Bull. Bill will take you through several squares. Beautiful city and very friendly!!

This is the second time we have spent two weeks at 21 Gordon Street and we plan to be back next summer. The apartment is spacious, quiet, filled with light and wonderful furnishings. It is also in the perfect location to explore Savannah in all directions.

This property was truly wonderful! Just one street over from forsyth park and finding free parking was a breeze! Going inside the home was well lit, clean, spacious, and most importantly COOL during the hot July months! Both beds were extremely soft, and I truly slept like a baby in the master bed! It seriously is the softest bed I’ve slept on in a while. We rebooked this place for the upcoming wedding! Slam dunk this place!!!

Awesome location and loved the old charm feeling of the condo. Perfect spot for a girls trip and would definitely return to this home.

This is a sweet old house on my favorite square in Savannah's Victorian District. Our apartment (of the 3 in the building) was delightfully decorated with many tasteful antiques plus modern amenities. The natural signs of use on vintage pieces and historic places only adds to their charm. But some of these furnishings are suffering from greater wear and tear as well as incomplete cleaning. There are numerous specific examples I could give, but I no less adore this darling home and do not wish to speak ill of it or the staff. I simply recommend that the owner should spend an unannounced visit in this apartment for a couple of days to make a thorough observation of the current state of things. Repairs are definitely in order (leaky glass shower front floods master bath.... severely scuffed walls need painting... much more...). And more attentive cleaning is sincerely required (filthy pull-out bed in living room leaves it completely untouchable... hair matted shower drains had to be cleared upon arrival... much more...). Please know that I still would not hesitate to enjoy this lovely home again! I merely hope to find its upkeep next time in the condition that one should expect. 😉

This home is beautiful & even better then the pictures! Perfect location, close to Forsyth park & walking distance to all restaurants in downtown Savannah. The only reason I took 1 star off was because the house wasn’t very clean & the sheets looked like they hadn’t been washed :/

The location of this place was excellent. Within walking distance to everything we wanted to do. We absolutely loved how it was right around the corner from Forsyth park. The place itself was very spacious. We liked how it had 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms.
However, the cleanliness was lacking. There were Stains on the pullout couch cover and it was super uncomfortable. As soon as you’d sit/lay down the entire bed would sink. Almost every light fixture had light bulbs that were burnt out, making it difficult to see well. The Wi-Fi is as out the entire stay but we were gone enough that we didn’t really mind that much. We couldn’t find any extra trash bags and there were only 5 towels for the entire stay.
Overall, we had a nice stay but I think it could definitely use some deep cleaning.

The great thing about this property is the location. It really feels like you are living in a Savannah neighborhood, directly off of Monterey Square and a stone’s throw from the Mercer Williams house. Close enough to walk to everything but away from the hustle and bustle of the river.
