Pelican Beach Resort 905, 9th floor 1 Bedroom 2 Bathroom 873 sq.ft. condo with Wifi, Free Parking, Cable TV, Bunkbed TVs, Beach Chairs, Umbrella aiming best class service is right on the beach with great views of Gulf Coast from the balcony. No road crossings, just go down and enjoy our private beach Pelican Beach offers the dream vacation with BEST views, sand and sea in the area at 5 minute drive from heart of Destin, Harborwalk Village and across Big Kahuna Water & Adventure Park. This condo features; * Stainless range, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher. Vacuum cleaner, iron & ironing board, hair dryers. * Coffee machine (drip+K-cup), toaster, blender, kettle, full kitchenware * Master bedroom has a king size bed with a Smart TV, direct door to master bathroom * Hallway has bunk beds for sleeping 2 with Cable TVs. 2nd bathroom is accessed from hallway * Sofa in the living room is a sleep sofa which converts into a queen bed * HD Cable TV (Cox Ultimate channels) and high speed Wi-Fi * Coin operated laundromat on the same floor * Two beach chairs, an umbrella and a cooler along with ice packs for the use of our guests. You also have an option to rent umbrellas and chairs on the beach. IMPORTANT: Tents and canopies are NOT allowed on the beach, just umbrellas. Private umbrellas are only allowed behind the rows of rental umbrellas. * Keyless entry door lock system, no keys during your stay with your unique code. Your welcome package will have startup supply of bottled water, coffee, toilet papers, travel size shampoo, hand soaps in both bathrooms, paper towel, dish liquid, new dish sponge, dishwasher(2) and laundry(1) tablets. Pelican Beach Resort is one of the most popular resorts in Destin right on the beach with no roads to cross and has; * on site security with a guarded gate, 24/7 front desk, * heated swim-out indoor and 3 outdoor pools, kiddie pool, 2 hot tubs, * sauna, steam room, fitness center, * seasonal beach service (paid), beach side Tiki Bar, * seasonal deli and convenience store, * arcade room, tennis and pickleball courts, * vending machines, * free covered/uncovered parking with paid EV chargers, * and outdoor gas grills Our goal is to provide you a family owned place to stay that makes you feel like you’re in a home -away from home- to make sure you will return for years. We will be available to you 24/7 if you need us. HOUSE AND RESORT RULES - 1 parent/adult guardian over 25 years of age is required for every 3 unmarried guests under 25 years of age to check-in. - Tents and canopies are NOT allowed on the beach, just umbrellas. Private umbrellas are only allowed behind the rows of rental umbrellas. - No smoking anywhere in the building, unit or on the balcony (except designated area on the ground floor). - Pets are not allowed. We all love our furry friends, but unfortunately HOA does not allow any pets in the resort premises. - Rates are quoted for entered occupancy and extra person fees may apply if occupancy is increased after booking. - We do not provide beach towels and do not allow any towels, sheets, bedspreads to be removed from our condo. - Guest will be required to e-sign our rental contract upon booking. There shall not be any terms which are not included in our listing and policies here. ABOUT US We are the Colasan family managing Paul & Angela's unit. I am a scuba instructor, vintage car collector, frequent traveler. Father to 2 sons. Love travelling with family. Destin has always been our favorite destination with its tranquility, great beaches and clear waters. The picture of the two chairs on the balcony looking out on the gulf is exactly what you see when you walk in the door. Beautiful setting, great resort and lovely condo. We had 2 very minor issues and the property owners responded immediately. Bring any spices/condiments/soap/lotion/shampoo/butter etc...

The condo is nice & updated, for the most part. It is centrally located in the building & is convenient to the elevator. Great view. Zero entry pool was a favorite for our little one. The owners were very nice & easy to contact.
Cons: The thermostat suggested low of 72 was an issue for us. We don’t even keep our house that warm during the day, especially not at night when we sleep. The lowest the thermostat will go is 69. We didn’t sleep great due to being hot & the master bed being pretty uncomfortable. My husband actually slept in the lower bunk 2 nights because he said it was more comfortable. I couldn’t get the bunk TVs to work but I also didn’t contact anyone about them so that’s on me. Overall, the resort itself needs to be updated. It served our purposes but probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The pictures of the listing are accurate. It’s nicely decorated and the communication with the host was perfect. The cafe, beach service, and tiki bar on the property was nice and the food was pretty good. The biggest con for us aside from the tap dancing elephants in the unit above that kept us up half the night was the living room furniture. It may be new like the listing says but it was unbearably uncomfortable. The couch and chair felt broken down. You feel like you sink to the floor. The lack of support in the couch cushions means the edge of the couch feels like a hard bar digging into the back of your legs. I get the need to protect the mattress but a pad with plastic makes you over heat especially when you can’t turn the AC down below 72. The mattress itself was comfortable though. The furniture despite being new really needs to be replaced with ones more durable and comfortable.

Nicely renovated unit exactly as advertised, although the unit was slightly older than expected.
Pros: Nice wood floors and living room furnishings. Bunk beds with TVs in the hallway are a fun bonus! And the ocean view from this unit is PERFECT! The kitchen was well-stocked with everything needed for cooking or grilling.
Cons: I would recommend that the owners upgrade the master bedroom mattresses and bed linens. At this price point, guests expect a more comfortable and luxurious bed with crisp/fresh linens. Also, I would give the housekeeping a B- since on day 1, we found stray hairs in the master bath and bedroom that were not ours, which we know for sure since we had literally just checked in. Luckily, I travel with cleaning supplies and plastic gloves; while it was gross, I was able to quickly clean it up. It’s just the principle that the unit may not have been cleaned as well as expected.
The main con, while not the fault of the owners, is that Pelican Beach Resort only has a limited amount of space on the beach reserved for its guests, which gets crowded very early. And if you bring your own beach chairs/umbrella as we did, you will be required to sit behind rows of beach chairs rented by the resort which means that you will have an extremely limited view of the ocean while sitting on the beach. Even if you rent from the resort, you will still have the same problem since the resort’s beachfront section is really small. Still, we enjoyed our stay!

We had an amazing 7 day stay. Everything was nice and clean. Location and view were amazing. Nice and close to the elevators, washer and dryer. Talking and working with owners was a breeze. Great for our family of 4. Hopefully will be back.

Clean ocean front condo minutes from all things great.

The condo itself was clean and updated. The kitchen had everything needed to cook with. The beds/linens were very uncomfortable - no one in family slept well. The condo building was old, dirty, always smelled horribly, garbage in elevator. The building was having the cement on building patios grinded down, which led to a “nails on chalkboard” very loud noise all day, every day - no way to relax on beach or pool. This was supposed to be finished by March - had I known this, I never would have booked here.

Property does not allow you to bring tents . You can rent there chairs . There are not comfortable . They snatch the chairs up to early . The room had worn out couch , Bed mattress worn out very uncomfortable . Nice view of beach .

We arrived a couple hours early, so Paul and Angela coordinated with us and got us into the place sooner than scheduled. It was just as described. Clean and comfortable. The pictures don’t do it justice. It was a quiet, beautiful location. We would book another stay with them.

Perfect Accommodations
The condo is beautiful and looks just like the pictures. Very clean. The owner communicated early and replies quickly. They even sent an email with tips that was very helpful for the stay. The building is nice and easy to navigate. I really enjoyed stay and would book again.

Beautiful 9th floor condo with amazing views!
This tastefully updated condo has everything you could need, every possible dish/pan/kitchen tool etc. The view was absolutely perfect of the gorgeous gulf! The master shower head was AMAZING! Thank you so much Angela & Paul for hosting us!

I really enjoyed staying at this condo. It's exactly as pictured on the site. Everything was very clean at check in. The check in process was very easy. There is parking by the entrance to unload and load all of your luggage. They have plenty of baggage carts. There is a garbage chute at the end of the hallway. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and pans. It was a breeze to cook our Thanksgiving dinner. The view from the balcony is amazing. We saw so many dolphins jumping out in the ocean. The host's gave us all the information we needed. We can't wait to come back during the summer.
