Situated in Aspen, this charming condo for $950 per night is a great choice for your next break. Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 2.0 Baths, (Sleeps 4) **Being one of a handful of ski-in/out condo properties on Aspen Mountain, and adjacent to Lift 1A makes this property unique.The mountain being directly outside allows for spectacular view and a peacefull and quiet retreat. Directly down South Aspen there are numorous shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife. Aspen Mountain has only advanced blue and black ski runs for access to lift 1A adjacent to the condominium complex. To ski-in or out you will need to be able to ski these types of runs. Otherwise the Gondola is avaliable for easier blue runs or the other mountains are accessible via great Aspen public transportation for green runs etc. My family almost skis up to our Condominium level and skis down from the same place on slope side. **The complex has a heated pool (that acts as a hot tub) in the winter with a temparature of approximately 102 degrees farenheit making it ideal for a soak after a great ski day. **No guest pets are allowed in the complex per HOA rules. Complimentary parking for one vehicle in the on-site lot on a first come first serve basis. Additional vehicles will need to be parked off-site. ** Property is located on the 4th floor, is not handicap accesible, and does not have an elevator. The views are spectacular and well worth the trip but there are stairs. **Guests are required to sign a rental agreement and manager require proof of age. **Winter mountain operations Aspen Mountain- Nov 25, 2023- April 23, 2024 Aspen Highlands- Dec 11,2022 - April 16, 2024 Buttermilk - Dec 11, 2022 - April 2, 2024 **Lift 1A operation usually starts around christmas (and did year 2023) depending on snow but in years past has started earlier in the year. Early and late season Shadow Mountain lift access dependent upon snow conditions (access as of December 25th 2023). Aspen Gondola is 5 blocks away. **Gorgeous view of the city and the mountains. Directly adjacent to the slope. It is 4 flights up with no elevator but the view is worth it. There is a tram (when operational) between the 1st level and the 4th level if requested for luggage but not used for much else.. 2 queen size beds for comfort. Easy access to the slopes. Ski in the morning. Come back for lunch and ski in the afternoon makes for a great day. The condo has stairs inside that makes the condo unsuitable for small children. We chose this property for convenience to the slopes during the winter and hiking during the summer. It is an amazing combination of peace and quiet and so close to all the gret things Aspen has to offer. If there are any questions feel free to email and I will be happy to assist. Great place to stay if u are skiing Aspen. The 83 stairs r challenging after a day of skiing.

We enjoyed our stay. This property is ski in ski out and located within minutes of all the best shopping and dinning in Aspen. Parking was easy and always available. We used the condos tram to help with luggage but took the stairs other than that. Two things I wish the property had, more comfortable seating in the living room and window treatments. After a long day of skiing, there isn't room for 4 adults to lounge by the warm fireplace, a sectional would be perfect. The condo gets very bright as soon as the sun comes up, there are no window treatments on the main floor and only thin white shades in the bedrooms.

Awesome spot and super value in Aspen. Living space is a nice and open. View is amazing but you earn it coming up the steps each day. I'm a large guy but upstairs shower is crazy small, I felt like an ostrich in a small garden bird bath. Kitchen was well-appointed and the unit is nicely updated. Skiing into the unit is the biggest reward at the end of a long day on the mtn. Easy walk to town. All in all, great spot!

We were in town for ski races at Highlands and the location was perfect - 7 minutes from Highlands. You could ski out on to Aspen from the condo but we couldn’t manage to fit that in, sadly. The views from the condo were spectacular. The place was roomy and bright - perfect to return to after a day on the slopes. The beds were very comfortable, and the place was sparkling. It looks like it has recently been renovated. Very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

My husband and I stayed with our daughter and son-in-law and their three children (13, 11 and 9) for a three day weekend. Within walking distance of ski shop, bakery, grocery. Kitchen equipped with what we needed to cook and serve. Large bright windows. Shadow mountain lift in easy walking distance across parking lot. Thanks

This two-bedroom plus unit with two bathrooms is about thirty yards from the shadow mountain lift. We found it clean and well-appointed with the necessities for eating and entertaining in. The outdoor pool was lovely, if somewhat short winter hours. The walk to town is about three blocks, but if you are lazy take advantage of the free Downtowner which will bring you door to door. Gorgeous morning light. The communication was outstanding. Immediate response and an unsolicited invitation to enter early because the cleaners had completed their work. We were pleased with our choice and would come again.

We stayed here with our three young sons and the stair railing is not up to code, there are no spindles to protect kids from falling off the stairs. When I mentioned this to the owner upon our arrival, he told me to go buy a babygate (not very helpful or apologetic) Also there were dust bunnies everywhere and we even found a random pill on the floor and nyquil wrappers. Not suitable for families and we were dissappointed by the owners response.

Condo was in a great location with easy access to the main shopping areas. It had all we needed from kitchen supplies to games and entertainment. Construction is right there and was fairly constant but it didn’t really bother us. Our son loved it especially the “hot pool.” The laundry was stuffed and running when we got there which was weed but didn’t impact us (note to owner). Also the bike rack has been removed apparently because of the construction, so we had to leave our bikes strapped to the car. Minor stuff in the end, and we had a great few days enjoying Aspen.

Two blocks from the St. Regis, several to center of town and Silver Queen gondola. Beds very comfortable (a king and set of bunks). Didn’t need to use the sofa. Convenient to everything Aspen.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The location was in walking distance to shops, restaurants, and skiing (although no skiing on this trip). The place was clean and stocked with the essentials. I would definitely recommend.

We just spent a few delightful days in Aspen staying at this quaint Mountain Shadows condo. It had plenty of room for the two of us and everything we could possibly need. We biked the days we were there so this location for perfect. We either hopped on our bikes to ride the great trails around and near Aspen or simply walked the few blocks into town for meals, sightseeing and Aspen fun.
