Location and views.
Very well located and the environment and garden well cared for.
It's good to have a launderette to wash our clothes and a mini market in place.
The accommodation cleaning.
The balcony was very dirty, full of spider webs, twigs, and old leaves we couldn't enjoy in that space. The windows of the accommodation, all of them needed a deep cleaning from the outside. The carpet seems old, needs to be replaced or a very good deep cleaning.
The extractor fan above the hob was not working, and I have reported, and nobody came to fix it.

Staff lovely. Good base. Self catering facilities good.
Very loud music in bar. Bed uncomfortable. Accommodation a little out the way.

Beautiful site especially the woodland walk
Mattresses where extremely springy and our caravan smelt of dog wee and could see lots of stains from previous dogs. Carpets need changing completely. The staff were good and came out to clean it again but you could still smell it. They couldnt move us as no other accommodatation was available And there was no offer of some money back or even a free meal..

The property was clean and in good order. It provided everything we needed. There was a slight dog smell but I guess that can’t be helped.

Ideal location, squirrels and birds around the property and the kids liked that.
the beds were uncomfortable and it wasn’t explained that the sofa pulled out into a bed so the first night was a bit crammed

Special thanks to Libby at reception and all the other staff who were polite and helpful which will keep us coming back twice yearly.
No negative comments great holidays every time

We visited our daughter who works in St Ives and used the holiday village as a base. We had an issue with the wall heaters not working so they supplied us with 2 electric heaters which were fine. The buses actually come into the site and for a £5 ticket you can go anywhere in Cornwall all day, great value for money. The chalet was well equipped with everything you need to do your own cooking and was clean. The beds were comfortable and warm once we got the heaters sorted. It is a great place to use as a base, leave your car and tour Cornwall by bus. I would definitely book again.
The main downside is there is no internet in the chalets only in the club .

it was the right size, that was it really
it smelt and wasn’t clean, there were socks and dog chews behind the sofa! the knives in the kitchen were blunt, some of the utensils fell apart when using them. there was not a gate on the veranda which was very annoying as we had a dog and paid £25 extra, not sure what this extra charge was for? both women in the shop were sooo rude, they need a lesson in customer service! don’t stay at this property if it’s raining or windy as the whole park is covered in trees

Ideal for what we wanted ,centre point to were we wanted to visit in cornwall
Camp was too dark on a night needs to have more lights around park so you can see where your walking its quite dangerous especially for older people .

Great value for money, quiet location and lovely wood area for dog walks
If I was going to be really picky then there were a few too many cobwebs on the outside of the lodge but that’s to be expected for the time of year

Location ideal and local transport options good
Daytime facilities not always available

location close to st Ives
damp, cold (had to use heaters in evenings despite warm outside) no towel rail so towels damp, everything in suitcase damp, smell of mildew the whole time. no bath mat so bathroom floor always wet. no hot water for first 24 hours until staff reset immersion. no dog facilities at restaurant/ bar/ entertainment which was not made clear when we booked.

We liked the site and our accomodation it was safe and secure clean and tidy. Comfy bed and a well presented kitchen with all you needed to cook if you wanted too. The takeaway restaurant was also good.
The accomodation had a damp dog smell and although we brought our pet too we had to spend money on air freshener to get rid of the smell. We also had very noisy neighbors who on our last night were still outside drinking and making noise at 5am when we set off home.

It has a bus that come by daily for various areas around cornwall.
Good location.
Has some nice wood walks.
Damp smelly rooms.
Window was broken in the room it had no handle.
Took hours to get it fixed. Wasted our time checking in.
Messaged us pushing check in to 5pm which is very late as most hotels or parks would be a 2 or 3pm check in.
Most of the arcade games on site broken or switched off.
Bar staff having to cover reception and not really knowing what to do.
To go swimming you have to book a slot on the morning of the day you want to go by calling a number. Bit of a pain.
It needs a refurb, its run down moldy and clearly painted over mould. The silver chalet which we stayed in smelt so bad. Used a whole bottle of Fabreeze and after shaves and perfumes and its still stunk pretty bad all week. Luckily we was out most of the day ever day.
Heard the slides where broken in the swimming pool and owner wont pay to fix them.
Was never offered any money back for our inconvenience caused on our first day when we couldnt unpack and get in the room properly until around 8ish.
