Could have been cleaner. Room had dirty mirrors and net curtains. Couldn’t open the windows for fresh air.

The location was fantastic and the service, comfort and breakfast was first class. We would come back again for sure.

The proximity to the town, the feel of the accommodation and the quiet despite where it was.

We liked everything from the helpful very friendly staff to the large but cozy room. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the cathedral and shops. Plus parking on site.

The only, very slight downside, was the shower screen that moved whilst you showered. It meant the floor got a bit wet.

From the moment we arrived till the time we left we were impressed with the staff and the information provided to help with our stay. The hotel was very clean,with an excellent choice of breakfast. The hotel was ideally positioned for all there is to see and do in Canterbury with plenty of restaurants and pubs nearby. Small little things like the honesty bar, underfloor heating in the bathroom and the offering of crockery and cutlery for those that want a takeaway are willingly provided.👍

We stayed in the Stable room 5 for two nights. The beds were very comfortable, there was tea and coffee making facilities with plenty to choose from including decaf. The bathroom had a very large walk in shower and compliment shower and hand wash gels to use. The cooked breakfast was one of the best we have every had, locally sourced eggs, bacon and sausages all served by friendly Staff. All the Staff we met from Reception to the Breakfast Room were lovely to deal with and made you feel that they were pleased to see you and very helpful with any queries we had. We will be booking again in May and cannot wait to stay again.

There is nothing we did not like and nothing we felt could be improved. The place is just perfect as it is.

A warm friendly welcome from Jane after a long journey was much appreciated, a guided tour followed. The accommodation was exceptional and faultless, if all traveling experiences could be like this . Thank you to the cooks cleaners and all the staff we didn't see , well done ! Simon & Jo

all good, except the rather tight car entrance - just pull your wing mirrors in, take it carefully and slowly and you’ll be fine

Well we’re do I start…we only stayed for one night but I can confirm 100% my wife and I will be coming back time and time again and possibly with family or friends. The room was outstanding along with everything else, location, breakfast and the staff. The main building was very homely and warming. They operate an honesty bar which is well stocked with all types of goodies. Guys I hope you take advantage of staying at House of Agnes as you will not be disappointed.

The owners were incredibly helpful and very friendly. The place had really nice feel to it, was in a central location and right across the road from the train station. There were plenty of options for food and drink nearby as well as it being only a short stroll into the main parade of shops and, of course, Canterbury Cathedral itself. There is an honesty bar available day or night and breakfast was served in a very prompt and uniformed manner so that anyone staying for business or who needed to get a train in the morning could be out in a timely fashion.

What wasn't to like? I, personally, couldn't fault the stay that I had here.
