The bed and pillows were comfortable and the view was nice. The bathroom was very small and the towels a bit worn.

We came to Pittsburgh for my daughter’s graduation & reserved 3 rooms. Upon arrival we asked for an upgrade as we are VIP members. We were told the hotel was fully booked all weekend. The very next day my kids arrived and were given an upgrade?! Then, Our room flooded due to the pipe not being attached under the sink… soaked all my toiletries. They serviced it immediately, but housekeeping never cleaned up the mess & left 5-6 SOAKING WET towels on the bathroom floor & just put fresh towels on our bed. All 3 rooms we had were very dusty & poorly lit. I will never stay here again!

From peeling wallpaper to filthy elevators this place is in serious need of upgrades. Convenient location was the only thing going for it. Way overpriced for conditions
Would not stay again.

A one night stop on our way home to Canada. Loved Pittsburg and how well located the hotel was.

Room is in need of updates. You can easily hear people in adjacent rooms. Food in the restaurant is not great.

Check in staff went above and beyond. Room was very clean. Pillows too big and hard. Old furniture. Great views! Hard to beat the location! Will stay here again.

Great location, clean hotel, and friendly staff.

Hotel was nice, staff friendly. Valet service not so much. Got my car back with a damage tire the kid shrugged and walked away

We stayed for 3 nights. I think we got upgraded to a river view room— we had a fabulous view of The Point. The room was a little shabby (chipped casework, peeling wallpaper seams), but very clean. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. There was a conference happening while we were there, but the room was silent at night. Small bathroom with no acoustical privacy, but plenty of towels were provided and the shower head had a nice heavy stream and plenty of hot water. Quick and easy walk to the ballpark. My new go-to hotel for when I visit Pittsburgh.

Restaurant area is too small for the size of the hotel and number of guests. Only 4 of 5 elevators were operational. No one conveyed that maid service would not be available if it wasn’t requested a day in advance. Room was too small for the amount of furnishings in the room. Bathroom wasn’t big enough to change your mind in. Beds were not comfortable at all.

Bar closed at 11pm which is still too early but a nice bar. Coffee niche is too expensive and needs more appetizing looking food!

Comfortable and close to venues and restaurants!

The only real issue is that the bathroom door didn't lock. This was our second time staying here, and it didn't lock in our previous bathroom either.
Otherwise, it's a good place to stay if you have events in the area. It's comfortable and the staff is friendly. But it would be better if the bathroom doors locked.

The hotel is dated and not well maintained. Out bathtub was dirty, the towel had holes in them. The furniture was old and worn out. The elevators dirty , carpet very old. The space overall good, but the hotel is in need of a major facelift. We paid over 300$ per night for may be a 2-star quality stay.
Kudos to the hotel manager, she was courteous, professional and was willing to address issues raised.

Great, super clean and comfortable hotel!!

Staff and hotel overall were amazing - clean, attendive, great smiles and all seemed happy - the security was top notch. 1st time staying in such a nice hotel where keycard access was almost mandatory throughout
Prices of food and drink were a little over the top - I know its more of an upscale hotel but vending machines would still have their place -
Privacy in bathrooms was a little weird. We stayed in 1219 and the bathroom door didnt secure the best - Also you could see thru the glass in door
And no door on the shower stall was weird as well

The price of the hotel room was not great even for the area.

Property was very convenient, being at the heart of downtown Pittsburgh. Walkable to any place in the are. Staff were helpful when needed & the pool & hot tub were a nice plus to enjoy the stay and relax from busy days of exploring!

The hotel was in the perfect spot. Right downtown with everything walkable. Rooms were well equipped and very comfortable.

This property needs updated TV's.
Also they only have basic cable. Most hotels have a small convenience store on the premises to provide snacks and drinks for later hours. Here they do not.
Friendly staff though!

I loved everything about it. Walking distance for a lot of things and parking garage right across the street.

There was a lady that checked us in and then the next morning was the hostess at breakfast. Wonderful employee, I only regret I did not catch her name.

Great hotel to stay at when going to the Steelers game.

We stayed for one night, drove 2 hours. 20 minutes into our stay the Valet driver caused damage to our car that made it undrivable. Staff had no clue about repair shops & did nothing to accommodate us. We got it towed and had to pay for a rental car to get back home. Ruined our weekend, will not be staying here again.

There's literally nothing good to say about this place. Well, the staff was helpful and the service at the lounge was ok. But the rooms are long overdue for a major upgrade. There's no sound insulation between rooms. Loose wallpaper (!) everywhere. Noisy pipes, so you always know when you neighbors use bathrooms . Almost always a line to get on elevators, so choose lower floor to use stairs. Avoid using their valet parking - if you can't find a spot on the street ($4/hr during the day, free overnight/weekends), just use underground parking across the hotel, it's $20/night vs. $38 valet who use the same parking but make you wait 15 mins.

Beautiful lobby and great staff. Room was small and cozy but could have used a deep cleaning. Walls are thin and I could hear the neighbors directly across the hall from my room.

Perfect location for first night Pittsburgh. Convenient to activities and excellent lounge, friendly and accommodating staff and pricing. Really heavy check in time that was handled very efficiently.

The check in and check out process was great. The Valet service was also good as well. However, the room was beyond disappointing. The shower and sink had hair in it, the floor was dirty, there was a hole in the wall, our room stunk like weed and the bath towel was ripped. At 8am, we were woken up by housekeeping banging on the door. Then, they were running a loud vaccuum right outside our door when we answered they couldn't come in. For $200, this was beyond disappointing.

The stay was nice. I requested a river view and about 3 days before the stay the hotel emailed me asking if I wanted to pay $15 more for a higher room with a river view, I did. The room I was given only had a corner of the river to see. My point is don’t pay extra you get nothing. The room is very small and the bathroom is even smaller. All was clean.

We stayed 2 days in December there is NO hot water we can’t even shower

The bed was terrible, so uncomfortable, that's truly the only reason for the 2 stars. The wall paper is peeling and things need deep-cleaned and replaced but I don't really care about those. I care about comfort and a good nights sleep- which we DID NOT have. For being such a prestige/higher end place I really had hopes of a good bed. We left super early to go home just to sleep. Woke up with sore backs and necks. Didn't do any of the morning things we wanted to do in the city either

The desk staff was very pleasant and helpful in answering any questions I had
