Located conveniently for downtown Pittsburgh, the car park is behind the hotel. If you park yourself, you can save $10 on valet parking. Note that route 376 which leads to the downtown has a major detour before reaching the hotel. Adding half an hour to get there. ☹️
Hotel is modern and upmarket looking with an unusual staircase in the lobby. Also has a bar and restaurant.
The room was clean, modern and comfortable. 😊
However official check-in is 4pm, later than most, and checkout is at 12pm. After a 5 hour drive from NJ, I was pretty disappointed not to be able to check in at 1pm. ☹️

Very friendly staff from the time we arrived, until the time we departed. Clean lobby restrooms, rooms were clean, stocked with coffee and tea, water for Hilton members. safety was key they took serious. Valet staff were friendly and helpful with directions and getting our car in a timely manner. Front desk very friendly and helpful too from arrival until departure. We will definitely be back.
