The Independence Square is a historic hotel located in the heart of downtown Aspen, on the Cooper Avenue walking mall and only one block to Aspen Mountain's Silver Queen Gondola. This second-floor deluxe room is the only unit in the building to feature two Queen beds. Unit amenities include air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a wet bar with a refrigerator, an updated bathroom, and a cozy sitting area. Guests also receive complimentary continental breakfast items. This hotel room features two Queen beds and a pull-out couch in the living area. There is an elevator that accesses all hotel rooms and condominiums from the lobby; however, guests must walk down a flight of stairs before reaching the elevator. Independence Square is only a few steps from the Rubey Park bus station, which provides free bus service to all the area ski mountains, including Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk, and Snowmass.
