About this house rental
In the heart of the Baie de Somme in Saint-Valery, enjoy a family vacation in our charming 65-square-meter fisherman’s cottage in the heart of this traditional neighborhood. The house accommodates 4 to 6 people (maximum 4 adults). It’s located just a 100-meter walk from the bay, the pier, the main street, shops, and restaurants. You’ll also have access to a separate room attached to the house where outdoor furniture is stored. In this historic neighborhood, there is no parking in front of the house.
The Accommodation
On the first floor, the living room features a sofa and armchairs; the dining table seats up to 6 people. The kitchen is fully equipped. The bathroom, with a shower, toilet, and washing machine, is located on the first floor.
You reach the upper floor via a narrow staircase. The first sleeping area has two pull-out beds (one 80x200 / 160x200 pull-out bed and another 90x190 / 180x200 pull-out bed). Walking through this sleeping area, you’ll reach the bedroom with a double bed (140x200). The upstairs area is in the attic. From here, you have a magnificent view of the Bay of Somme.
Outside, you have access to an adjoining room where you can bring the patio furniture (a small table and two chairs) out onto the street—and put it away after use :)
The apartment is equipped to accommodate very young children: a safety gate upstairs, a travel crib available, and a high chair.
Guest access
There are few parking spaces in the fishermen’s neighborhood. The best option is to park at Place des Pilotes (note: market on Sunday mornings) or at the Corderies parking lot. Paid parking is in effect throughout the city from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. (except between noon and 2 p.m.). There is only one free parking lot at the entrance to the city, near the Carrefour supermarket. This parking lot is about a 2.5-km walk from the vacation rental (a free shuttle is available during the season).
