We stayed in this large, characterful house for a holiday and really appreciated its authentic charm and historical atmosphere. Located in a picturesque and genuine area, it's just a short walk from the sea, which was a big plus. One of the highlights for us was how dog-friendly the place is — highly recommended if you're traveling with pets. That said, the house could benefit from better maintenance. While it has plenty of personality, it's quite dusty and cluttered, which made it feel less clean than expected. We had to spend half a day doing additional cleaning ourselves, and even removed some curtains due to the amount of dust. The bathrooms were clean but quite dated.Overall, the location and uniqueness of the house make it worth considering, especially for pet owners or lovers of historic homes, but be prepared for some compromises in terms of cleanliness and upkeep.
