About this condo rental
Situated in Barcelona, this lovely condo for £207 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. --Accommodation for families only. Guests need to be quiet at night while in the apartment. We do NOT accept stays of group of guests under 21 y.o., which are unaccompanied by adults (over 30 y.o.)-- Accessibility - 3 floors above street level. Elevator Apartment description - Bright and pretty 3.5 bedroom apartment (like a 4 bedroom, except access to one of the rooms is through another room) with 2 bathrooms one with bathtub, the other with shower, on the 4th floor (with elevator). This apartment has a glass-enclosed balcony, as well as a small balcony off the main bedroom. Also, it still has the century-old mosaic floors (a different design in every room), the original woodwork on the doors and windows, and high ceilings. Complete kitchen including oven, microwave oven and full-size refrigerator. 42' flat screen TV in living room. DVD player and DVD collection. For maximum comfort this apartment has central air-conditioning - and it also has got central gas heating. Location - The apartment is in the historical part of the Eixample area, at a short distance and midway from the Sagrada Familia temple and Passeig de Gracia shopping. Transportation - Near Verdaguer metro station (on yellow and blue lines) and several bus lines. Very easy to get to by taxi. Management - We are a small family company. Lauren is from Dallas, TX and Fernando is from Barcelona, Spain. We currently run 20 holiday apartments in Barcelona, 2 furnished homes in Dallas and 7 holiday apartments in Istanbul. Noise levels - Façade windows have double glazing, but there can be some street (traffic) but in just one of the bedrooms. The other three bedrooms are very quiet. Occupancy - The apartment is ideally suited for 8 people. It can sleep up to 8. Check-in and check-out - The apartment will be ready for you at 16 (4 PM) for occupancy. You can drop your bags in the office in the morning already. Check-out time is 11 AM. You can request reserved early check-in or late check-out for a small fee, subject to availability. There is no extra fee for nighttime check-in. Reservations - We conduct reservations by email, that way there is a written record of all communications and much less room for error. We do not take reservations or payments by phone.

Property was beautiful, spacious, and had gorgeous views. Easy access to groceries, restaurants, metro, and bus stops. Walking distance to many of the tourist sites. Only thing that could be better is the wifi - signal is spotty at best.

Lovely, spacious apartment
We really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable and spacious apartment. 3 minutes walk to Verdaguer metro and lots of good places to eat within 5/10 minute walk. Would definitely stay again

Practical , well located yet needs a little love
The managers are very efficient and they have a modern way of check in, they were flexible and welcoming. However, the flat looks much better in the pictures. The bathrooms need updating and some real cleaning, there was mold in one of them. The floors of the flat also need some deep refurbishing. We had an extra guest, a little mouse who we named Mickey who we suspect came from the whole in the ceiling of the hallway. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was adequate. There is a need for bigger newer towels if they are to offer them. I think this property has a lot of potential but it needs a bit of deep cleaning and updating of the bathrooms. That being said water pressure was good and water was hot and plenty . The location was great . There was a lot of noise from the street and from some of the neighbors who decided to have a fight around 6 am on a Sunday ... thin walls. We were a very quiet group and we like to sleep in so this was a bit disappointing.

There aren't many places that can comfortably accommodate a family of 8 so we were VERY happy to find this property. We had two problems during our stay, however, which were unresolved. The first is one of the two toilets did not flush properly and the flush valve seemed to be partially broken. Our morning email advising them of the problem was not responded to by that evening when the flush valve broke completely and the toilet became unusable. That's a problem when you have eight family members sharing a single toilet! To their credit, they sent a maintenance man immediately, but he did not have the correct replacement part and had to jury-rig a solution that only worked for a short while. We had to make do with a single toilet for all of us to share the last two days of our stay while they waited for the correct replacement part to arrive.
The other problem is that the listing advertises WiFi availability, but only one or two of us was ever able to connect to any of the SSIDs they offered and then only for a short while before the connection was lost. You'd be surprised how much you rely on connectivity nowadays to book excursions, look up restaurants, plan the day's activities, etc.. and the grandparents and kids wanted to update their social media sites. I was unable to check-in with work and had to purchase an alternative form of Internet Connectivity. They claimed to have tried "resetting the routers" and that they sometimes had problems with iPhones, but admitted that there was some equipment missing from our apartment (a "Tower"?) that wouldn't be replaced until the day after our departure. My advice to future guests is not to rely on their claims about the WiFi service and to secure an alternative means of connectivity if that's important to you.
I wish I could have rated them 5 Stars. As an owner of a VRBO property myself, that's what I would have wanted, but they had opportunities to fix fairly significant problems and were unable to do so during our stay.

Comfortable apartment in a fantastic location
This apartment was perfect for our family. We could walk to Sagrada Famiglia and Casa Mila (Gaudi); a 365 was around the corner for espresso, pastries, fresh-squeezed juice, and sandwiches. Metro was very close (6 minute walk) to get to El Gòtic, La Rambla, El Born. The rooftop terrace was amazing! Wish the a/c cooled the back bedrooms better.

The apartment was perfect for our family of 8. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 children. The apartment has all you need!
The location of the apartment was excellent. It was a short walk to the Sagrada Familia which is a must whilst in Barcelona. Good walking shoes are recommended to reach the Ramblas, however, it is worth it to see the fab architecture and bustling city.
Would recommend this apartment to others with larger families who want a piece of city life with space☺️☺️

Perfect spot for a Barcelona Holiday!
Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed the spacious, light-filled apartment on Carrer de Valencia. It was well furnished and very comfortable. We especially loved the location which provided us with a neighborhood filled with markets, bars and restaurants and easy access to public transportation. The apartment's kitchen was relatively well-equipped enabling us to make coffee and breakfast in the morning at our own pace, prior to setting out for an action-packed day full of sight-seeing and adventure. The roof deck was an added bonus, with clear views of the Sagrada Familia and the surrounding neighborhood. The books on Barcelona were a great resource for each and every day. Overall, we had a memorable trip to this magnificent city and our accommodations made the trip even more so.

Big space with lots of charm
This was a great apt! Big enough for all eight of us. Within 30 minutes walking distance to everything. Less than 10 minutes walking to Sagrada Familia. Great little restaurant and ice cream parlor right downstairs. Very quiet part of town. The space was comfortable and spacious. The bathrooms were small but there were two so it made getting ready quicker. Air conditioner worked great! The roof top terrace was great! You could see the top of Sagrada Familia from there and also Tibidabo. Loved it!

Lovely, spacious apartment!
Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay in this lovely, clean, 4 bedroom apartment. The property is a short (10 min?) walk to Segrada Familia and a couple blocks from 2 metro stops. This made it extremely easy to navigate the city. We liked staying in the L’Eixemple district, away from the hustle and bustle of Las Ramblas and the Gothic district. The area is filled with wonderful restaurants a short walk from Passeig de Gràcia with amazing shopping. The apartment is equipped with a washer and dryer and was extremely clean. The two bathrooms are a bit small, but both have showers. Suggestions for the property are more towels and more kitchen equipment.

wonderful apartment in Barcelona
We had a lovely stay in this beautiful apartment with our grown children. Nice, comfortable and well furnished, with enough room to spread out and in a terrific neighborhood. We walked all over. Lauren and Fernando were very responsive and replaced a broken coffee maker within a few hours. We'd definitely stay there again.

Beautiful historic centrally located property
I was staying at the apartment with my cousins and the apartment was just as i had expected. Historical and well kept. The photos were accurate and the space was beautiful. Gorgeous front door, intricate mosaic flooring, everything was in working order. The location was perfect for seeing the sites and experiencing the local eateries. We enjoyed the crapes and Cara's (every day) right next door to the apartment. We were able from this location to immerse ourselves in the local culture. When we requested additional towels they were provided that day. The second bathroom is smaller than the other but clean and more than adequate to get ready for the days adventure. The beds were very comfortable and clean and i enjoyed every moment in the apartment. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us. We can't wait to return and when we do we will definitely like to stay in this amazing apartment.. We walked everywhere as the Example neighborhood was central to all tourist sites and took a red bus tour for 2 days. i would highly recommend this home. The Manager Eduardo communicated with us via text and we did not have to meet in person as there is keyless entry - it was perfect.

Comfort, great location and spacious
There were four adults to start and a fifth joined later. Each couple took a "wing" of the apartment. The Segrada Familia was close and we walked everywhere! We only needed a cab to and from the airport. Great location, with lots of shopping close by. Clean, comfortable accommodations. We requested more towels and they were brought the next day. The note the owner left was very helpful. The owner responded to each email very quickly and was available. We only used the kitchen for reheating food and hot beverages and found it clean and adequate. We will be returning next summer as we enjoyed it so much. Rooftop terrace was a plus!
