L’emplacement de l’hôtel ainsi que la décoration des chambres sont des points positifs.
Les salles de bain auraient besoin d’un petit rafraîchissement.
Le petit déjeuner n’est pas très qualitatif pour un 4 étoiles

I had a very bad experience at the dinner of Friday 3 May. I was served codling fish that was off - it was very smelly and I couldn't begin to eat it. Although the waitress took it away and offered to replace it, I couldn't face that happening again and took a desert instead. We were not charged for the rotten dish, but I felt an apology should have come from the chef him/herself as they should have known better.
I was also alarmed to see a car more than once parked up against a fire exit door which said keep clear. I wasn't sure if the whole building was in use, in which case the sign should be reviewed. The signs in our part of the building seemed to be in order though.

Super big bed, plenty of hot water and towels, WiFi worked great. Big spacious room. Clean and everything in its place. Didn't use telly. So quiet in the morning I felt bad firing up the Indian Scout - but if still sounded great!
Nothing to complain about. All good

Our room was dirty, dated and dingy, no lock on the door and toilet wouldnt flush, we asked for another room and got told by a very unimpressed manager we could have a refurbished room we then seen it and there was mould on the ceiling, bath panel wood all warped and again unclean looking. I asked if there was anything else as this wasnt much better to be snapped at told "oh do u not think, well if u want nicer you could go to cameron house" very very rude. We said we would go for dinner and come back to see if there was anything else they could do as we were staying here for a wedding and this was our friends venue. She replied "well i wont be here, ive been here all day" this was at 5.30 and again very rude and abrupt. So we went to dinner (elsewhere) and found somewhere else to stay and came back to collect our things. The young man couldnt have been nicer and apologised for everything. When we arrived the next day for the wedding the young man asked if we had a comfortable stay at the other hotel. We dont get away very often and were looking forward to our stay here. So very disappointed with the room options and the attitude of the manager.
Just to.reply to Beverly.....a clean room and friendly manner isnt high expectations it should be a given when you pay to stay in a hotel!!

The noise some kind of generator going all night never slept Very well

Good location for us but poorly signposted from the road. Great car parking facilities and excellent, friendly staff. Very comfortable and clean rooms.
Those CHURCH BELLS ringing ALL NIGHT!
We were expecting Quasimodo to swing by at any minute. Unfortunately there is no way we would stay in your lovely hotel again because of the bells. Ridiculous and pointlessly annoying. You really need to get them stopped between 9 pm and 9 am!! We like the sound of church bells but Sunday is the time to hear them.

Breakfast was good. Staff were excellent. Room was very comfy and clean. Nice view over the sea.
Unfortunately the church clock chimed every 15 minutes. Even through the night. Drink prices a bit high

Good location. Nice room. Comfy bed.
Not the fault of the hotel, but chimes all night from nearby church were annoying.

The staff were fantastic, particularly Emma, she was really friendly and welcoming, and looked after everyone in the bar wonderfully.
Nothing, this is a wonderful venue, delicious food, and top class staff.

Location
Room was dirty, no heating, our window was left open and when we entered the room it was freezing. We asked the staff if there was any heating and they said it's on timer, i woke up in the middle of the night, room was freezing cold and no heating. No spoons in the room to mix the sugar in the tea, one cup from the room was still having coffee stains from previous guests so it wasn't even washed proper because it washed away when i washed it. Toilet and bath dirty. I cannot even tell how dissapointed i was. With the money i paid for 2 nights i could've find something better. I worse than the picture i was foolled by.

Fantastic location right by Gare Loch off the Clyde. I thought I saw a nuclear submarine parked just outside, but apparently it was just a tug, that said this hotel had a bright beautiful and interesting outlook over the loch and the hills beyond. This is an ideal wedding reception venue, it made me regret never having married. The hotel is comfortable, smart, pretty and private too. I found the staff to be attentive, obliging and welcoming. The decor was smart and my room was impeccable in every detail. slashing breakfast and excellent staff. Easy parking too!
My sat nav sent me to a back wall with no clue where the entrance was. Thankfully Booking.com instructions were clearer so despite the hotel’s name sign being illegible in the dark, I eventually found the entrance in to a private enclosed garden hotel. There were bushes obstructing the view of the shore line. There was no lift which meant I had I lug my bags up two floors.

all the staff apart from 2 where lovely
when I arrived there was no sign of anyone to check in. I had to go look for someone. The room wasn’t very clean and needs a serious upgrade. stains on sofa, damaged furniture, dirty bath, no glasses in bathroom to put your toothbrush, no kettle for a hot beverage before bed, dirty bed linen. wish I’d taken more pictures to post but was late to a party.
