Number Four at Stow - FULLY AIR CONDITIONED

The breakfasts were very good and there was a nice variety of food. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I knew this hotel was out of the town and most people who stayed there drove. We were able to catch buses both ways but there is no safe, designated area to wait. You also have to walk around the hotel through the grass to enter or leave the hotel.

great location for the wedding venue down the road -(walkable) . Lovely staff, especially the Scottish lady at breakfast. good breakfast choices and quality. Nice garden area for coffee .

Three of us in the room - towels, mugs, glasses only supplied for 2 people. Not enough bottled water for 3 people. very thin cover on sofa bed - my daughter was cold. Very noisy - doors banging late into the night/ early morning and right next to busy road, traffic noise not blocked out by velux windows . I have stayed in other hotels of this brand in Bath and in York - which were far more quirky and with more of a boutique feel. this one seemed to have a puzzle you could do in the bar - thats all . very expensive for what it was. guess thats the price you pay for location.
