The gorgeous location and building, rooms, restaurant and pub are lovely.
Food is fantastic, large portions so excellent value for money.
Maybe a little overpriced compared to similar properties.
But the whole place and especially the staff made it well worth it.

The room was a good size and well equipped - clean and tidy. Dinner was good - the breakfast was probably the best I've ever had in a hotel / pub.

Poor breakfast and diners. There were issues with the cooks and this has heavily impacted us. We’ve booked 5 nights including breakfast and the hotel has not been able to provide decent breakfast at least 3 mornings in a row. Without mentioning that the coffee machine worked and we have been told that it was broken.
We did like that our issue has not been sorted and the hotel was supposed to come back to us and so far nothing has been delayed with.
