About this house rental
Beautiful and very clean 2000 vacation home located on the Chain o Lakes in Antrim county between traverse city and Charlevoix in the town of Central Lake . Just minutes away from Bellaire and all it’s shops and restaurants including SHORTS BREWERY. Benway lake is a 130 acre all sports lake with great fishing and ideal for water skiing and wakeboarding . You will find that typically there just are not any boats on the lake ! Total of 6 lakes all connect including 11,000 acre Intermediate Lake. This is a year round vacation home that welcomes downhill skiers , (1/2 hour from Schuss and BOYNE Mountain) cross country skiers , hunters , snow mobilers , golfers , fishermen , boaters , mountain bikes /road bikes and people looking for a secluded peaceful getaway in Michigan’s North Western rolling hills. Our 4 person Jacuzzi hot tub is located on the covered back porch and is open all year for guests to enjoy. The cottage has three bedrooms and two full baths. Master bedroom is a loft with cathedral ceiling , two ceiling fans , master bath is equipped with a lovely whirlpool jetted tub. This home features a beautiful stone fire place, full kitchen with dishwasher , laundry room with washer , dryer and laundry tub, cable internet with Wifi. This beautiful vacation home has a 50 foot long dock ,a large deck next to the lake and a wooden pathway through the woods to the lake. 2 Kayaks , 1 canoe, BBQ grill, DVD Blu ray , flat screen . It is close to golf courses , 2 major snow mobile trails, Jordan Valley snow and ski trail and also close to Boyne Mountain and Shanty Creek . Grass river natural area, Charlevoix paved bike path and Glacier Hills hiking trails. This is the place that singers write songs about !

Had a wonderful time, the house was perfect for what we needed. Wish the weather had cooperated a little more so we could have used the kayaks. The host gave detailed instructions on anything we needed for the house, and the whole week went off without a hitch.

This place is always a great stay! Hot tub was heated up and ready for us upon arrival. Great place to stay if you like to fish and bring your own boat. Dock is very convenient with power hookup, I was able to charge the boats batteries overnight. Grill was great and fire pit down by the lake was top notch. Even got to see the northern lights from the dock. 10 out of 10 would stay anytime.

This weekend stay was exactly what we hoped for. It’s well suited for children and provides something for everyone, (a dock to fish from, good internet, close to lots of local things to do, and only a few miles drive from our favorite place to hunk for rocks ). Thanks so much for the opportunity.

Could be a cleaner, fridge was gross, everything was pretty dusty, one of the toilets was not cleaned all the way upon arrival. Some items could be updated. Hot tub is nice and outside area has a beautiful view.
