Situated in Key West, this lovely condo for $440 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. FLEXIBLE, NO-FEE CANCELLATION INCLUDED: Rentals are 100% Refundable until 21 days prior to your arrival! This colorful apartment is all you'll need for your stress-free stay in the Conch Republic. THE MELLOW MACAW is located right in Old Town near the famous Southernmost Point of the United States, two blocks from the Southernmost Beach, and just steps from Upper Duval Street. You couldn't be any closer to the nightlife and attractions of downtown (La Te Da and Banana Cafe are a block away, the Hemingway House is just down the street), and yet this tropical two bedroom retreat is tucked around the side of an Old Town home with its own private patio. You won't need a car, but should you decide to bring one you will have a private off-street parking space. THE PATIO... Through a quaint gate off Virginia Street, pass around a tall tropical tree and follow the path along to your private entryway. Through your hidden gate you'll be in a completely fenced private outdoor porch area with a full outdoor dining area. THE MELLOW MACAW is equipped with comfortable patio furniture sitting under a big shady umbrella, and a gas grill for preparing outdoor meals and enjoying happy hour just a quick walk to the attractions that await you on Duval Street. THE LIVING AREA... Opening the front door of THE MELLOW MACAW you'll find a cozy, island-inspired home with an open living plan. As you enter the apartment, you'll be greeted with a brightly colored and comfortable sectional sofa in front of a large flat screen TV. The sectional pulls out to a Queen sized bed to sleep 2 extra guests. THE KITCHEN... Beside the living area, the open kitchen is fully equipped with all the tools you'll need to whip up a meal at home. The kitchen is also equipped with an electric stove, oven, and a dishwasher for easy clean up after meals. There's even a small sound system to set the mood while having dinner. THE ACCOMMODATIONS... • Master Bedroom: King bed, full closet, flat screen TV, and a private patio. • Second Bedroom: Queen bed, large armoire, and flat screen TV. The shared hall bathroom has a walk-in shower. ALL LAST KEY VACATION HOMES INCLUDE: • Washer and Dryer • Central Heat and A/C • Ceiling Fans • Flat Screen TVs in Living Room and All Bedrooms • Fully Equipped Kitchen • Basic stock of spices • Starter supply of paper products • Starter set of cleaning products • Linens and Towels provided • Wireless high-speed Internet access and full cable included In addition, this fully stocked home also includes, but is not limited to the amenities on this list: • Private Gated & Lushly Landscaped Outdoor Patio • Propane BBQ Grill • Off-Street Parking in Driveway Other notes: • Interim housekeeping provided upon request • This property will accommodate up to 6 adults • Pets Not Allowed • Last Key Realty vacation homes are rented to family groups and responsible adult groups only. Groups who expect they may cause after hours noise will not be a good fit for this home and should be aware they may incur additional penalties when in residence for violations. There will be a $500 charge for after-hours dispatch of our staff in response to calls resulting from verified noise complaints for violations by our guests in residence. NEED MORE SPACE... The Mellow Macaw is at a perfect location in Key West. It is in walking distance to everything, yet far away enough so you can have some quiet. The house was impeccable and a block away from Circle K so we could get some basic groceries. When I go back to Key West I will definitely be staying at the Mellow Macaw.

The location is so central so we could walk to lair places. The place looks just like the photos. Everything was clean and fresh and Brian was awesome. We would definitely stay here again.

The space is comfortable, cozy and very inviting. Who ever created this space did a fabulous job! The only issue we had was the hair dryer wasn’t working but within a half hour someone showed up with a new one! Will definitely be back.

My family enjoyed a 3 night stay here. From booking to checking out, everything was well organized and easy. The property manager was available by text, checked in to make sure all was well, and promptly answered the one question we had. Everything was so well prepped and taken care of, we didn’t need any help! The house was really clean (and I’m picky ;) and well stocked. The key lime pie in the fridge was a nice treat…sweet idea and delicious!
We enjoyed the location one block over from Duval. We were happy to see how much was on the street we were on too. Our favorite walks were to Flamingo Crossing, an ice cream store at the end of the block; and to the Southernmost Point and Seaside Cafè (so close to the house!). We were very happy to get to see all the sights we wanted to and to not have to use our car once. We appreciated the designated parking space too. Thank you!

We just loved our stay at the Mellow Macaw! It was a beautiful condo with a fantastic location. The tropical decor is so cute, and everything you could ask for was there. When they say they are fully stocked, that is really accurate. Plenty of everything! We really enjoyed the little patio, and the parking spot. We parked and didn't use the car all week since everything was easily walkable.
We didn't need much from the
rental company, but the few questions we had were answered promptly and courteously. If you are considering this property, do it!

We loved this place so much we’ve already booked for next year! It took us one golf cart ride around the block to realize we really didn’t need a golf cart to get around. Being so close to the heart of KW meant we had more time to explore and go everywhere we wanted to!
The place itself is awesome. Very comfortable beds and couch, well stocked kitchen and bathroom, and the patio was a perfect hangout spot. We can’t wait to be back!

My parents and I were delighted from the minute we walked into the Mellow Macaw. The decor was so welcoming and cute, and the unit was super clean and comfortable. Plus, they left a key lime pie for us in the fridge!
We were able to walk pretty much everywhere we went in Key West during our stay (though it was nice to have the driveway for our rental car, since we flew in and out of Miami). Other than the roosters, it was just far enough off Duval that it was pretty quiet at night. From one of the bedrooms, you could hear people walking around upstairs on occasion but nothing that was too distracting.
The patio was a nice addition and a pleasant place to hang out in the afternoon when we weren't out and about. I'd highly recommend this property!

We had a wonderful stay here as first timers in Key West. It was perfect walking distance to everything. We really loved the key lime pies left for us in the fridge. I would definitely stay here again!

The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Lots of towels, including beach towels. The washer/dryer came in handy. The beds were comfortable. The AC worked great. The neighborhood was quiet. There is a recovery center right across the street, but it was quiet. The private patio was great as well. We loved that we could just park the car in the driveway and walk everywhere.

Everything was perfect! I would suggest there be a different way to plug in the patio lights. We are 60-70 yrs and it was risky plugging in the lights. We did it anyway because we loved the patio and wanted to utilize it at night. Loved the entire set-up!

We had a great time exploring Key West and Duval street. The house was perfectly located about a block off of Duval and we could walk around and explore everything Key West had to offer. We all enjoyed the outdoor private patio and provided bbq that came with this property. It was great for enjoying morning coffee in the 70 degree weather and afternoon Mojitos while we relaxed in the shade.

Property manager was incredible. Condo is immaculate. Walking distance to beach, Duval and much more. Only downside was the sleeper sofa when opened blocked anyway to get around it.

My sisters and I went to Key West for a few days and our stay at the mellow macaw was amazing. It was just as described. Location was in close proximity to everything. Just steps away from Duval street and southern most point. The only negative would be only 1 bathroom, but four women stayed here and we made it work. Would definitely stay here again!😜

We had an OUTSTANDING trip despite a little hurricane coming in! Samantha had everything lined up for us upon arrival and even had a yummy key lime pie waiting in the refrigerator for us! I can't say enough about this cute little place. We had three ladies celebrating a birthday weekend and we had plenty of room and everything we needed. All the way down to umbrellas. Sam checked on us to make sure we were ok and they allowed us to "hunker down" a couple mores until it was safe to leave. The house was convenient to all the fun spots in Key West. We had a blast!

We enjoyed our stay at this location. It worked for our group. However, I do recommend using the noise machines that they provide when you go to sleep. The street is busy, and it was so helpful to have the sound to muffle. The mattresses are a little warn and could use replacing. Overall, we had a great visit in Key West. Be sure to ger Kermit's Chocolate covered Key Lime Pie Bar it's the best ever!!!! Dry Tortugas National Park is a must it will not disappoint.

The Mellow Macaw was a great property! It was exactly as it was advertised. The condo was perfectly located. We could easily walk to Duval Street and visit all the excellent restaurants and bars. And it was a short ride to Mallory Square and The Southernmost Inn. The best part was the private patio! Thank you to Samantha at Last Key for the very personal attention. We will be back!!!

I had checked many properties on VRBO in Key West that were wheelchair accessible. My friend has muscular dystrophy. He is unable to do steps without must assistance & his knees frequently give out. This property was listed as wheelchair accessible! We arrived at this property & it had 2 steps to get in! My friend fell going up the steps . We were told no other properties were available. No hotels were available in our price range. We did stay at this property. My friend had 3 falls.
This property is very nice & decorated fun & bright! Very clean & everything you need. The problem was not the property but the listing was incorrect! I tried to do something nice for a friend & it caused him many problems.
