About this house rental
Located in Nantucket, this attractive house for $1,360 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. This house is privately owned and rented by a friendly, caring family. The property offers sunny south and west facing open-plan, living with spacious multiple areas for dining, reading and relaxing. The house enjoys central air conditioning and comfortable furnishings providing casual comfort and a place to gather, entertain or simply unwind. The house sits on a half acre lot, on a private road off of Cliff Road. You will enjoy open natural views to the rear of the house over protected wetlands with abundant wildlife including deer, ducks, eagles, the occasional turtle and multiple bird species. Relax and enjoy unobstructed views of majestic sunsets from the rear deck of the house. The house is designed over three floors with two ensuite master bedrooms on the second floor accessed by two different staircases at either end of the house. The 1st floor is open plan with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, including a separate breakfast area and casual sitting area and a full bathroom/shower. A spacious full living room is on this floor with large screen TV , fireplace and enough seating for the whole family. From the kitchen and breakfast area, you can go out onto the south-facing deck for a 180 degree view of the stunning conservation land below you. This is the perfect location for sundowners, spectacular sunsets and group al fresco dining. Here you will find a gas grill at your disposal. There is a lower ground floor which has a TV area, two bedrooms and a bathroom with tub/shower plus laundry. The lower ground floor opens to the rear of the property and is south facing getting sun from mid-morning onwards. Additionally there is a full basement where you will find beach equipment and a place to store anything such as rental bikes or other equipment. The house comes fully equipped to help you enjoy the island by providing much of everything you will need to feel at home. BBQ grill, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, coolers, board games, books to read while you are here,. There is a Sonos sound system on the 1st floor and smart TVs in both master bedrooms, living room, and kid's TV area downstairs. We provide a full complement of kitchen and bathroom amenities including espresso and filter coffee machines, all appliances, soaps, sponges, shampoo, conditioners, paper products etc. and other conveniences for BBQs and the beach all of which are detailed on our listing. Your hosts have owned and enjoyed the house since 2012 and have been coming to Nantucket Island for several decades. We are knowledgeable about the island and can help with any queries you may have. You may expect to enjoy the space and calm of Nantucket life and take advantage of all the house and island has to offer. The area is a perfectly located near the historically important Cliff road area from which you can stroll to the heart of the historic town which is a 10-15 minute walk or a few minutes bike ride to access all restaurants and beautiful shops - no need to worry about finding a place to park! Near to the house out on Cliff Road you can hop onto the paved bike path to Dionis Beach, Madaket and all parts of the island. Cycle just a couple of minutes to Steps beach, where you will get fantastic views from the top of the Cliff on the north shore, and enjoy calm water swimming and an impressive sunset. Just a few hundred yards down Cliff Road towards town is Nantucket's iconic Something Natural Bakery where you can find fresh-baked bread and homemade sandwiches for take-out to eat at home on the deck, or at the beach. Two couples + two 20 year olds + one 2 year old. The place is bigger than it looks in the photos. The back deck was ideal for sunset dinners. The kitchen is well stocked and it was easy to cook dinner for the entire family. We love the location, near many beaches and easy walk into town, about 20 minutes. This house feels big and accommodated us comfortably

Well we did not have a good day of weather No sun during the week. But we loved our stay on the Island We loved our house. We loved the location. We loved the layout of the house it was perfect for our family. The decorator did a wonderful job. We could not asked for a more appropriate house. Only wish we could live in it 12 months a year

I reserved dates at 30 Pilgrim 10 months prior to our stay because we had no flexibility with our dates. Over those months, Tom, our host, never failed to be responsive, informative, and thoughtful. The house was perfectly laid-out for our party of 7, including two couples who each had a private master bedroom. I loved the location: walking distance from town and on a marsh filled with bird life. Highly recommended!

We had a delightful experience at this home. Floor plan provides nice open concept to congregate with family. The bedrooms were perfectly separate to give extended family more privacy. Host was very attentive to all that we needed.

Great House!
Beautiful house in great location. The size and layout was perfect for our family of three adult couples: Everyone had their own large bedroom/suite area (with plenty of closet space) and the kitchen/dining room/living room/deck was large, airy, beautiful, and very comfortable. The deck overlooking conservation land was great.

Great stay for wonderful memories
We used to be islanders and my parents wanted to enjoy another Thanksgiving on island after 15 years away.
This large, but cozy home had everything we needed. Two master bedrooms with en suite baths upstairs, zoned heating, stocked kitchen, gas fireplace activated with a switch, and beautiful views. It’s the second home on a dirt road, walking distance from town. Decorated expertly, this home feels like Nantucket luxury, and has everything you need for a stay for kids, grandparents, and all in between.
Pair this place with a car rental from Turo and you’re golden because you can park in the driveway and get anywhere on the island within 20 minutes. Otherwise, easy walk to Steps or to town.
To imagine we found this place when our other VRBO fell through at the last minute (sadly, Madaket-ish home going out to sea)…

Perfect Nantucket Getaway
We LOVED staying at this beautiful home! It was exactly as advertised, and was perfect for our family group of 6 adults. The owners, Thomas and Jane, have a wonderful property that is a nice walk from both town and the beach. The home is extremely comfortable, clean, well-equipped and serene. Our eldest daughter is attending Harvard Business School, so we chose to bring Thanksgiving to Nantucket. The kitchen and dining areas were well-suited to preparing a full holiday spread, and because we were concerned about grocery availability we organized a concierge shopper to buy and deliver groceries before we arrived. Thomas was highly responsive and accommodating to all of our questions and requests, despite being 5 time zones away. We were fortunate to have great weather and that allowed us to sit on the deck and enjoy the tranquility of the setting. I highly recommend this home to anyone who is visiting Nantucket. We were all sad that we could not spend more time on island, and that just means we will need to return for another visit. If you are planning a trip to Nantucket, I highly recommend that you stay at this home.

Nice property, great location
We had a group of 5 and really liked the house, location. Very clean, looks like the photos. It’s about a half mile walk to steps beach and about a 25 min walk to town. A bike rental is perfect for this location. There is no backyard but a nice deck that overlooks trees and a country club and it’s very quiet. They had plenty of the necessities , towels, laundry detergent and most kitchen essentials. The care taker and owner responded in a timely manner if we had questions. Overall a very good experience and would rent here again.

Great house and location for our family trip!
The house is in a perfect location and just as described in the listing. It was well stocked with everything you could need, from kitchen items to beach towels and chairs. Our young children loved riding bikes to Steps Beach and Something Natural, both 5 mins from the house. It was a perfect home base for our family trip and close to everything a young family would want to do!
