It's only two blocks away from Main Street of Balboa Island "Marine Ave", easy walking. Minutes away from Balboa Ferry, Fashion Island, Starbucks and many exciting eateries. Cape Cod style house modernly vamped, two stories, front Patio facing Bay with seating area and BBQ amentiies, two additional patios upstairs. Cozy downstairs living with fireplace, has 5 bedrooms, sleeps 12... with a rear attached apartment 1 bed room and roomy great room. Beach house has 6 baths w/shower and an additional outside shower. Recently remodeled and in great condition for a far away vacation or staycation !!!

Absolutely amazing all around. This home had plenty of space to host 14 ppl for Thanksgiving. We loved being on the water and the kids loved paddle boarding , kayaking, golf cart rides for Balboa bars and diving off the dock.
Owners have the house equipped very well and their communication was terrific.

This property is one of the better vacation rentals I have stayed in. Rich the host was top notch and truly cared about ensuring we had everything we needed. The property is well equipped with everything from kitchen items to linens to sand toys/beach chairs and more. Paired with its perfect location on the water, private docks, and close walk into town made this a perfect Balboa house to fully experience the Balboa life. We will definitely stay here again.

A short walk from the delicious coffee shop and amazing shopping! The children enjoyed the candy store stocked with anything you can imagine. The beds were all so comfortable and the house was very clean! We will definitely go back again.

Fabulous House
Our family loved our carefree stay in this amenity-filled house in paradise. The hardest daily decisions were whether to paddleboard, kayak, go bike riding, take the ferry to the Peninsula, or relax on the sand or the dock. Tough decisions all! The hosts are the absolute best!

We have had the pleasure of staying at the is property for the now 2 summers and it never dissapoints. There is not a property on the island that has more to offer. The owners have thought of everything from paddle boards and kayaks to the generous use of their golf care and duffy. We will be back.

Balboa Island At It’s Best
We have been enjoying a staycation over the 4th of July holiday for the last 4 years and have stayed at a different home each year on the water. After staying at this property we will not stay anywhere else again and have already booked for next summer. Such a beautiful property and there is nothing that has been overlooked.

Amazing Property!
My husband and I and 5 teenagers had the best time here on the Island! The house layout is perfect, the decor is clean and modern and so comfortable. With the dock and all the bells and whistles and toys that come with the house, it is the perfect beach getaway! We would come back for sure. And the owners were very accommodating and helpful. We love it all.

Perfect thanksgiving week
Every two years my family meets at an Airbnb to celebrate Thanksgiving week. We always take a lot of time choosing the location and the house as it is a special time for all of us to be together. We could not have picked a better home to enjoy our week. Everything from organizing our arrival to leaving the property was so simple and easy. Every thought is given in this vacation home from water at your nightstand to phone chargers in every room and wine and snacks to greet you when you arrive. We would definitely stay here again I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic house, fantastic location and a fantastic overall Newport Beach experience. Thank you for everything!

Plenty of room & privacy for every family member to enjoy, with all the comforts of home. The details!!....rom charging cords bedside, to the sonos sound system, a TV n every room & plenty of beach toys to play on/with. Loved this place - Hoping to book again next year!

"Dream Vacation of a Lifetime"
I loved every minute of my Balboa Island Vacation Rental! It was the perfect place to celebrate my 70th birthday with my lifelong girlfriends and then my family too! During my childhood we rented this home for many many years so it was very sentimental for all of us to be able to return to this wonderful home once again! Deane and Richard have done a beautiful job fixing up their home and were the perfect hosts! Everything was decorated so beautifully and the house was immaculate when we checked in and they even left us so many extras! Fresh flowers, snacks, wine, waters in every bedroom and even a candle burning! They thought of everything! It was all amazing and was the perfect setting waking up on the bay every morning. We even had professional family portraits taken there! My kids and grandkids had a blast everyday on the beach, on the kayaks and paddle boards and I especially loved the Duffy Boat and golf Cart! It was the best vacation ever and I can't wait until we can all go back together again someday soon! Thank you for everything Deane and Richard!

Magical Family Vacation House
From the first inquiry and contact with the owner to the ease of check out on the last day, our experience was 5 stars. The owners responded immediately to any questions we had, the house was spotless and decorated beautifully with full amenities from laundry soap to shampoo/conditioner in bathrooms and coffee and filtered water in the kitchen. And then there’s the fun stuff-kayaks, paddle boards, bicycles, sand toys, beach chairs. It was a wonderful family vacation! We want to return!

Everything is so well thought out in this beautiful property! The house is furnished beautifully. All of the kitchen items needed to entertain are provided. Kayaks, paddle boards, a golf cart and bikes are provided for full enjoyment of the island and bay.

Perfection
What a beautiful home and experience. We were met at check in to walk through the home, which had virtually everything in it. The biggest mistake that we made was bringing too much (based on other past rentals on the island). There is a grocery store very close by so no need to really ever even bring food down with you. The design of the home is impeccable and the smallest details have been thoroughly carried out. This was our first stay with a dock and it made a huge difference for our junior fishermen (as well as the senior gents who enjoying having drinks under the umbrella every evening). We hope to be back to enjoy again!

We returned to this wonderful beach house after 20 years. This is our fifth generation enjoying the amethyst Beachhouse! All the remodeling, and design details are wonderful. The beds couldn’t be more comfortable . Already booked for next year!!!
