Vaulted ceilings in kitchen and bedroom give this quaint, modern cottage a very spacious feel. Flooded with light. Decorator touches throughout. Double french door entry opens to full kitchen/dining/living suite. Generous modern master bath, includes a laundry area. Located in one of Sebastopol's most cherished neighborhoods, with a five minute walk to restaurants, theater, shopping, wine tasting ,The Barlow and Sunday's great Farmer's Market. Right in the heart of West County’s Sprawling Wineries! 20 minutes drive to Santa Rosa Airport!

My husband and I came up to Sonoma County for some business mixed with pleasure. Mary's guesthouse was in the perfect location for both parts of our trip. The house was well stocked and we made many of our meals in the fully equipped kitchen. The weather for nearly every day was beautiful so we enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings with our glass of wine. Another major plus was the location. It's literally walking distance to downtown Sebastopol and the Barlow so many many options for eating, tasting and shopping. We had a wonderful stay and we can't wait to come back!

Comforting and peaceful guesthouse. Everything necessary within walking distance on what might be the shortest street in Sebastopol. Yet the coast and vineyards are an easy drive. The house was fresh and new with a lot of thought to details that made it feel like home. It was wonderful for me.

This cottage is wonderful. Charming and surprisingly spacious. Bright and airy. We had everything we needed and then some. And Mary is a lovely host! We hope to return.

This property was amazing. Everything about it was immaculate. Check in was super easy. Mary was super responsive when messaging. The kitchen had everything you would need to make a meal. It was a great location for exploring western Sonoma Valley and Sebastopol. We will definitely be back.

Everything was better than advertised. The kitchen was well stocked, communication with the property owner was outstanding, and it exceeded expectations in every way. Super close to downtown and the Barlow. We will be back again soon!

We had an enjoyable three-night stay at Mary's Guest House. The house had everything we needed, right down to fresh ground coffee in the fridge, and was walking distance to town and many great restaurants and other attractions. We appreciate that Mary checked in with us to make sure everything was OK, and we especially enjoyed the private deck out back. We won't hesitate to stay there again if we're ever back in Sebastopol.

Great place, perfect location, spacious and well furnished!
Stayed here in 2019, and plan to return again next month: excellent communication with hosts, easy walking in up town, and wonderful quiet central neighborhood.

We spent more than a week at this property, and we enjoyed every minute. It was so convenient to have a well-appointed kitchen, lots of closet space, extra linens, and even a washer and dryer! As well, the description doesn't tell you how great the location is. It's two blocks from Florence Avenue, which features wonderful sculptures by Patrick Amiot. The house is very nice, with high ceilings, latest appliances, great heating and cooling and a comfy but firm bed. Mary was super nice, and we had a great time. The closeness to Santa Rosa means there's plenty to do for a short stay, and there are plenty of restaurants around town!

Quaint, quiet place
My wife and I had a great time staying at this location. It was just the right size for both of us and had all the amenities to be able to cook meals, etc. The neighborhood was quaint and within walking distance of the downtown, with many homes having various metal sculptures from a local artist.

Walked to restaurants and shopping. Really cool neighborhood with unique sculptures everywhere. Beautiful accommodations. Close to ocean, redwoods, wineries. The small wineries are the best.
