Bright Canarian style building high up in Orotava. Very friendly owner , very good prices for shared dormitory, and I had a single bed rather than bunk beds. Clean well stocked kitchen .Beautiful artwork on the walls. Taxi up the hill from the bus station in Orotava was only 4.60 €....... altogether a good choice.
The hostel had toilets and a shower downstairs, in a more open area with no roof in the centre. It could be a bit wet or draughty in cooler months. But for May it was absolutely fine

I was in many hostels on the island and this one is exceptionally great! Thanks to the volunteer workers this place was incredible. Amazing kindness and proper hygiene! It was spotless clean and also a very welcoming enviroment. The kitchen the bathrooms and the rooms are all nice and well taken care of, I would totally recommend!

Had a fantastic stay here. The hostel was really pleasant, clean, and perfectly located—just a short walk from the main sights of La Orotava, which made exploring the town incredibly easy.
A special thanks to the hosts, Dario and Manuela, who were truly incredible. They were welcoming, helpful, and created such a warm atmosphere that it immediately felt like home. Their hospitality made the whole experience even more memorable.
Highly recommend this place if you're visiting La Orotava.

location involved a bit of walking up a steep hill but only about 10 minutes and the location was very close to the centre which was very beautiful, and key sites. place was clean and organised, owner very nice person. checkin easy. walls are painted nice yellow colour and the courtyard is very nice
the room was a bit damp and chilly; it was January. This was due, I believe, to people leaving the doors to the outside open. I would recommend there be signs placed for people to close the doors in the winter when it is cool. Also, after washing clothes they were still damp after two days - I would recommend the hostel get a dryer perhaps - I would have been willing to pay.
