About this cabin rental
Situated in Vermont, this lovely cabin for $750 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING/NO SHOW/EARLY DEPARTURE; Bookings cancelled by Guest at least 60 days in advance will receive a 100% refund of the reservation deposit. The Homeowners do not control any possible withholdings of service fees by Listing site. The Homeowners are not responsible for Guest's inability to arrive, or if Guest chooses to depart early for any reason , or if members of Guest's party do not show up. No refunds or rebates will be made based on weather, power failure, mandatory evacuation, acts of God, earthquake, fire, flood, sabotage, strike, terrorism, war, epidemic or pandemic, acts of government and any other circumstance beyond Homeowner's reasonable control. Guest are responsible to purchase CFAR (Cancel for any reason) Travel Insurance In the heart of the Green Mountains, family freindly, close to skiing, (Stowe, Sugarbush, Mad River and Bolton), hiking, fishing, ( bass & trout), golf, mountain biking (the famous Perry Hill trails are very close), and a host of other activities, this beautiful log cabin has it all. There are 2 kayaks for you use on the Waterbury Reservoir or the Winooski River. This property is heaven for families, dogs are welcome. Spectacular sunsets, a pond, kid's club house, hot tub (available November through March) , sauna, exercise eqiupment, indoor shuffleboard , foos ball, brand new Hot Springs hot tub and every modern convenience makes this property a year round destination. Please note that this is a NON-SMOKING PROPERTY, any violation of this policy will result in immediate eviction and loss of payment. If you are a smoker, this property is not for you. Check In: Check in is 3:30 pm and check out is 10:30 unless otherwise specified.

Location to Stowe mountain and other in town amenities was great and the best part was coming home to a nice warm fire, hot tub, family dinner at that beautiful dining room table….and just a great vibe overall .

This spacious house has a fantastic view and is conveniently located not too far from downtown. The place comes with a huge backyard and a small pond. My dog had the best time running around and swimming in the pond.

Seven of us plus our 97-year-old mother rented this cabin so we could all get together in the area where our mom grew up and went to college. The location is gorgeous and convenient, and the cabin worked fine overall for our group. However, it does need some updates. It was also challenging for my mother to navigate because some of the floors are uneven and she had to go upstairs to use the shower. We cooked all of our breakfasts and dinners at the house and were thankful for the AC. Gordon was very responsive and flexible on our check-in and check-out times.... much appreciated! Note that there's a bear in the neighborhood that walked by the front porch one afternoon while we were there. We all enjoyed seeing it, but families with small children might want to take note. Sitting on the rear deck with the gorgeous view of Camel's Hump was such a treat!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful and relaxing this home is. We stayed with family ranging from 91yr mom to 18yr child for 3 nights and it could not have gone better. So much room to relax and enjoy nature, from sitting on the deck that had multiple seating/eating choices to enjoying meals at the dining room table! I would absolutely stay again. The pond area was a huge bonus too!!! Gordon was such a great host as his replies were informative and very quick!!

We picked this home because it was only a 20 minute drive to campus. Our son graduated from Norwich University and we wanted to be close to campus. The owner sent all important information prior to our visit. The home is beautiful and clean. Plenty of space for a large group. My husband and our 6 children stayed and slept comfortably. Our kids loved the pond and the downstairs game area. We would definitely recommend staying in this home!

Our family has rented several properties from VRBO and this house was our favorite! The house was cozy for family time, yet spacious enough for family to enjoy different activities/entertainment. We enjoyed meals and game time at the large dining table. The house was located close to Stowe skiing as well as downtown for beer tasting and restaurants. A perfect vacation, lots of memories.

We loved the property, lots of space for our group of three families with adult children. Very comfortable with space to spread out. The hot tub was a great amenity after a day on the slopes. Very easy to get to and very close to Bolton Valley, Stowe, downtown Waterbury and Stowe village.
Gordon was a great host, excellent communications and the house was exactly as they described.
We are already planning a return trip next winter.

Great property and easy to communicate with owner. Amenities at home were plentiful and utilized. Super convenient location to many area attractions. Overall, a very enjoyable stay at the Camel's Hump Cabin. Thank you.

This place is everything you could envision or hope for if you are looking for a rustic Vermont lodge tucked away in the mountains! Getting there requires driving through steep back roads in the mountains - you definitely need 4 wheel drive if coming in the winter! As for the property itself - The pictures do not do this place justice! The exterior of the home is beautiful, with views that are simply breathtaking in all directions. The interior of the house itself was charming and spacious, with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and various living areas to support a large group. Kitchen also was well stocked with cooking appliances and supplies, which we appreciated as we cooked in many nights. Gordon, the property manager was very responsive and communicative throughout our stay. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Gordon and Missys home is our favorite place to stay when visiting Stowe. This was our groups third year staying here and we continue to love it. The cozy cabin feel, spacious living room areas and of course the hot tub make it the perfect home base for our annual ski weekend. Can’t wait to go back next year!

The views are absolutely breathtaking and the pictures don't give it justice! We had a wonderful time exploring the surrounding towns and spending the evenings at the beautiful cabin playing games by the wood stove. Owner was responsive and the cabin was perfect. We will definitely be back!

This was our second time staying at this property and both times were amazing! The house has the rustic log cabin feel we were looking for, while also having plenty of space. The kids had a blast playing in the massive yard, basement with games, and hanging out on the deck. The property owner was really great to work with. There was a mishap during our stay where something was damaged by accident on the property and we felt awful and anxiously called the owner to discuss. He was beyond understanding and so kind in dealing with the situation. It made me even more sure that I would be recommending this rental property to more friends and family in the future. If you’re considering booking, I would say you will have an awesome vacation and you should do it!

We stayed two nights and wished we had the time to stay longer; the house is just magnificent. First, there is a ton of room, more than enough for our large group. There are three full floors, the house designers did a fabulous job in the layout. It's a great combination of it being very large but also comfortable. The views of the mountain you get from everywhere in the house (and deck and back yard) are fabulous. The yard and area around the house are well kept and the pond is a great place to hang out next to a fire. Everything about the experience (communications with owner, check-in, helpful signs in the house, cleanliness, etc.) was 5 stars. We can't wait to return.
